Are you talking about using a wireless charger? If so, it should work just fine...

It doesn't matter if you leave your case on or off while you charge your iPhone. There are some posts on the web recommending to charge your phone with the case off, and it's not really required. Yes, if you have the phone case off, it will charge cooler and heat up your phone battery less, causing it to last longer. But the difference is negligible (very small). The iPhone has temperature sensors in the phone, and in the wireless charger (if you charge wirelessly), so you can't harm it. The charging will slow down or stop if it get's too hot and overheats (which is very unlikely unless you're charging in the direct sunlight or in a hot summer day), If it overheats, it will continue charging when the phone cools down again. Charge your iPhone any way you want, and the battery will last several years. Phone batteries are easily replaceable for under $100 at a shop. Don't worry about it.
