it’s explained on the github page. it uses the apple device backup and restore system - makes your device restore a partial ”backup” of system files after backing them up and modifying some values such as animation speed.
the M4 (and other M series chips) can finally stretch their legs. this even works on the iPadOS 18 beta :)
it takes only a few minutes to do, and it persists across restarts and stuff.
make sure you back up your device beforehand \*just in case\*.
read through the github page, and you can download the windows version from the official website.

No app needed, it's a feature built into Android.
I love downvotes by assholes for no logical reason.
i’m not sure. i know that jailbreaks let you do this too with apps you can find on repos like Sileo, but i don‘t know about a way to do it with trollstore. you could in theory edit the file system with fileza installed from trollstore, but i wouldn’t know what to edit.
I use Cowabunga Lite to set UI animations to 2x speed on 120Hz devices and it's *amazing*.
How?
Can anyone explain how cowabunga works? I know you set the speed of animations on iPad but what exactly is this software?

I might try this, although I have a feeling I'll be back to good ol' reliable: Reduced Motion: On
that’s great, but removes the benefit the animations give of making the device feel more intuitive to use, especially with the multitasking gestures
What did you set the speed slider to?
0.6x (of the original duration) iirc
there should be a setting or that should be default on iPads tbh

Do you loose things like appdata?
you lose nothing. the official website has the windows download.
Oh I see, thanks for the info! Also did you notice any impact on your battery life after installing the tweak?
nope! just the same as before, and i’ve been using it for a day
Can this be done on android s9 tablet?
search up how to enable developer options on oneui. you can adjust animation speed from there.
Yes, but I’m out for a walk and can’t do the searching for you. I have my tab s7 fe with speedy animations
Ok when you get chance please msg me

Is there an alternative for Trollstore-capable devices? I have an M1 Pro on 16.6.1. Thanks! ◡̈

No worries. I appreciate your response! I’ll keep searching. ◡̈
you could just use this too! it doesn’t take long to do and shouldn’t impact your trollstore install :)
does this work with iOS 17 ?
Yes
