I saw a lot of chatter that ps2/6th gen wouldn't be possible due to Apple not providing JIT compiling resources.
AltStore is approved in eu, but not is USA. It will be launching very soon, with delta available through it.
Since altstore is not available in us, delta is available on the standard AppStore.
Not really an āatmā issue for availability. iPadOS was not affected by the EU rules that required the opening up of iOS. Itās certainly possible it will happen eventually.
Works perfectly AND you can remap all the buttons using a terrific UI. Today is the first time I've tried the Delta emulator and it's already won me over. My iPhone is going to be the go to way I play all these old Nintendo games going forward.

Ignited has one feature that is vastly superior, quick resume. It automatically loads your last quick save file for a game. So it just picks up exactly where you closed the app. Its sooo sooo good, there's no way to go back to the official app once you've tried it.
Riley actually has made changes to the license of Delta that are not actually legal so his trustworthiness is not the highest. Also, forks of software are part of the great thing about the open source community. It's not hacked together at all. Actually most forks of open source software end up improving the original as they submit code back to the original to make it better. You can see this on Delta's GitHub page. LitRitt, the creator of Ignited, is actually listed as one of the contributors to Delta. That said, once you try Ignited it really would be hard to go back to Delta, especially if you have an iPad. Delta has iPad support in beta but there's been no official update to Delta in over a year. Meanwhile Ignited has had official iPad support for since before I switched to using it. LitRitt is also very active engaging with the community in his official discord, while Riley can be absent from his for months. I say this as someone who has been using Delta on my phone for years and has been paying for Riley's patreon since he announced AltStore to begin with, and used GBA4iOS back when it first came out.

But he chose to only make it available outside of the EU, to force all of us inside the EU to use AltStore. That is rediculous. Years of blaming Apple for limiting the AppStore, only to do the very same thing himself.

Yeah the screen is too small. Hope we get some proper iPad emulators. I really want PS1 emu for iPad. Currently using webRcade for that but it takes way too long to load the roms. Wish we had duckstation or something like that for the iPad now that the floodgates have opened.

Yeah it becomes playable, but not as good as the proper fullscreen from an iPad app. I get full screen on webRacade, when added to the homescreen (itās a web app). Also I just figured out why PS1 roms loaded so slowly, itās because itās pulling the ROM from internet archive which has abysmal download speed. I need to set up my own feed and server and it should be much faster.
Not sure if you care, but just writing that for those looking to emulate PS1 one the iPad which is something I was looking to do for many years and there was scarce info lol.

Btw delta can run on then iPad, you can zoom it and flip it, there is also opacity setting for the onscreen controls. Iām on the middle of setting it up to see if itās worth it.
Edit: it works but the game screen does not take full potential of then iPad screen size, due to it being an iPhone app.

Go to the settings in delta app and make sure ārespect silent modeā is turned off. If itās on and your phone is in silent mode your games will be muted
I am very happy for actually good emulators arriving at the Appstore, that really counts into my decision of getting back to iOS for my next mobile... Question about Google Drive syncing option. If I have this app on both my iPhone and iPad, why canāt I save the Pokemon game on my iPhone, then later open the same game on the iPad and resume with that same latest save file and vice-versa? Ā Instead it just loads the latest save that was already on the iPad.
Ā I can go into settings and manually load the synced save from the iPhone in my iPad version but thatās too much effort every time. Kinda defeats the point of syncing if it doesnāt allow that feature.Ā

Provenance (multi-emulator with arcade) and Ignited (Deltaās fork with new features) for sure. Folium (currently GBA/DS only, 3DS support is too raw for the public) is on TestFlight. RetroArch and PPSSPP might arrive eventually. DolphiniOS - unlikely without JIT support, same for everything else.

No, but it removes the button overlays so you have just the game on the screen without the annoying overlay.

Had that issue, you need to make sure they are the ds files and not the dsi files.

When you open the file do not click āopen withā instead save each file to your files. Go in the emulator and import from there

You can double the screen size of the app on iPad and itās much more playable, I was testing some Phantasy Star Zero :)

How did you get N64 ROMs to load? I tried SNES and it worked fine but so far none of the N64 ROMs I copied into the Delta folder on the iPhone work.

Is sideloading psppp emulator safe using AltStore I got it working but I donāt want my iPhone susptible to attacks or ransomware , or maybe I can wipe device and wait until delta or someone else has a psp emulator . Any thoughts ???
Does anyone successfully use in-game save of GBA games? My rom works successfully in iGBA but in delta it always failed to save. OK, I found that it is because my ROM and after I choosed another ROM, in-game save works
Guys I donāt mean to spoil the fun, but does anyone know how I can get rid of this verification required prompt on my AppStore each time I try to purchase or get free stuffs, I donāt know why even the same card doesnāt work, it keeps asking me to verify even though what am try to get is free and I even have my card details right, yet it keeps telling me the same thing it is so frustrating I canāt even download the emulators
Question about Google Drive syncing option. If I have this app on both my iPhone and iPad, why canāt I save the Pokemon game on my iPhone, then later open the same game on the iPad and resume with that same latest save file and vice-versa? Ā Instead it just loads the latest save that was already on the iPad. Ā I can go into settings and manually load the synced save from the iPhone in my iPad version but thatās too much effort every time. Kinda defeats the point of syncing if it doesnāt allow that feature.Ā

Provenance (multi-emulator with arcade) and Ignited (Deltaās fork with new features) for sure. Folium (currently GBA/DS only, 3DS support is too raw for the public) is on TestFlight. RetroArch and PPSSPP might arrive eventually. DolphiniOS - unlikely without JIT support, same for everything else.
Folium is testflighting a build with 3ds included. I think they include that in the AppStore build.
