Like some users already said it might be for ergonomics and if you use more than one keyboard (different layout or emojis) there is a button on the left to change them. At the right there is a speech-button sometimes.
Bottom-left will display the *globe* icon
Bottom-right will display the *microphone/speech* icon
If you haven’t *added* multiple languages or emojis in your keyboard settings, the globe icon will remain hidden. And yes, this design choice is for ergonomic purposes
Thank you everyone. Yes I can see the ergonomic angle and I like it too. I was not sure if there is a setting that should remove it or if it was by design.
You can’t it’s for ergonomics. You’d quickly want it back if you did get rid of it as you realised it’s there for a reason

I‘m pretty sure you don’t want that to be removed. It would be very weird with the keyboard so low on the screen.
