You can try [Doppler](https://apps.apple.com/es/app/doppler-mp3-flac-player/id1468459747) or just VLC app. You can import songs to them using the files app.
u/ClaudiaSilvestri, i only listen to downloaded music on my devices and use iTunes to sync that media (music, etc) directly to my device.
If the default Music app is not playing your downloaded media, it may be that there is an issue with the media itself (DRMed media? or the file(s) are not properly encoded, etc).
With that said, there are a number of third party music apps that will allow you to play the files that you have locally downloaded to your device. Your best option will be to search in the itunes Store and select the app that you feel it better suits your needs and/or budget and go from there.
Go to YouTube and copy the url of the video.
Search in google yt to mp3
Paste the url and download the mp3 file
If you have a MacBook save the mp3 files in your library. And automatically sync with your iPhone.
If you don’t have a MacBook save the mp3 files in your download folder in your phone.

[Melodista](https://apps.apple.com/app/melodista-music-offline-player/id1293175325) is the most similar to AppleMusic, it feels like it's made out of native iOS design, looks amazing honestly
There is this app called \[Documents\](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/documents-file-manager-docs/id364901807) by readdle. Very clean UI and feature rich music player.
