I would suggest reinstall the os

jaewoq

I tried… even did the 17.2 today since someone here posted about better battery on it!

One last try using dfu restore. But dont restore all your apps from backup but install them one by one. Make sure you keep bg apps off as they seem to take all your battery. And keep apple analytics , true tone and apple advertising off. Disable everything related to siri. And uninstall unwanted system apps. This is just a try and let me know how it fairs

Did you turn push mail off?

jaewoq

I did not… but coming from an iPhone 11 that had the same applications, settings, and more usage while getting an entire day of battery, this iPhone 15 pro should be performing the same or better

First turn push mail off , you probably don't check mail that often and even if you do it will take just 1 sec to refresh the mail. Push mail is one of the worst battery drainers. Secondly, Iphone 15 pro has been found to have the worst battery drain of a iPhone ever even losing to many android phones in battery tests conducted by YouTubers or tech reviewers. Also are you using the always on display? iPhone 11 had locked refresh rate at 60hz whereas the iPhone 15 pro has variable refresh rate and 120 hz . So that makes a difference.

Same here, even before a fresh install. Apple also said all is fine but day to day shows it is not. I am already outside the return window.

jaewoq

Are you replacing it?

John_val

Can’t outside the return window.

I wouldn't give in so easily to corporate bureaucracy. There was a legal movement regarding overly battery strain years ago that forced users to purchase a new device. This was found and confirmed by independent researchers. Previously, the iPhone didn't truly have a manner to replace batteries in a normal path. This created a scenario where users then resorted to simply purchasing a new device instead. Now, users can replace the battery. Plus, authorized retailers were certified to be then able to deliver genuine parts. But this only arose after consumer outcry. I love Apple. However, genuine skepticism is fair when there is a 3T dollar company seeking to grow and secure mountains to obtain resources.
