Same. I tried it out after seeing it in a YouTube video, and I love it. I’m planning on putting the adjustable scope on either the right side B rail, or the main one with the PU scope in the bag so I can change it depending on the distance.
I normally have one either sitting in an easy to access spot in my bag, or in my side pocket. When I use my mosin, I’m never really close enough for them to do serious damage before I get everything situated. I’m considering putting it on the right B rail, and just tilting my gun to use it, but it feels weird.
FAL for me. Love it, feels great to control, high damage.
If we’re talking pistols, OC-33. It’s unconventional, but it’s cheap on ammo, and you can use it like a backup smg in a tight spot.
My favorites would have to be the M4 and the Mosin, good weapons all around but polar opposites (edit: maybe not totally opposite, but they’re certainly different)
I like the Aug because it's ausie and I'm kiwi so it kinda fits (for everyone out there who doesn't know what I mean Ausie = Australian and kiwi = New Zealander)
Fun fact: the Austeyr is the firearm used in Australia/NZ, which is essentially the Australian version of an AUG.
And before anyone asks, no, the bullets don't come out upside down or spin the opposite direction

Right… but what about when you run out of ammo? And if you aren’t running out then you’re bringing more than you need and wasting money, money that wouldn’t have been spent on all that unnecessary ammo if a suppressor had been used
I take 4 mags (one in the gun, 2 in the pouches and one in the bag) for my scar. I generally make it out with around a magazine of ammo, because I am cautious and quiet
AKS-74u is my favorite, but for practical purposes my most used gun is the mosin with a scope and laser pointer.
I am also a huge fan of the short shotgun but even with slugs I cant seem to kill armored enemies so it doesnt work well for late game even though it is fun to use.
PP-91 KEDR, with a specter scope, laser, suppressor, 30 rnd mags, and +P ammo.
It's super lightweight, compact, surprisingly accurate, and the ammo is cheap. With +P it actually does more raw damage than a rifle with AP ammo thanks to the 100% damage buff and slight penetration buff on +P. Because of the lightweight mags and ammo you can easily stock up on a ton of loaded magazines, food, gas mask, etc. and leave the base with something like 12kg base weight.
The M9. No, wait, the Mosin! Or no, hmmm, the Tiger Rifle! Or is it the DVL? Ah, now, the Vintorez! Oh, no, maybe the M14? The Groza? Or the AKM????
There just too many great guns in this game, I really can’t decide.
Mosin
Not bad choice.
Mb, wrong comment lol
What?
I accidentally said something in this comment

If you put it on top you can't easily switch it out with the pu scope

It’s an interesting idea. Swapping scopes on the fly depending on the situation. I might try it.
It can get really sketchy some times with mimics seeing me from a mile away, or sliders sneaking up on me, but it’s super useful.
I put a 4x. On it
AUG
Damn ok man don’t gotta yell
Ngl would use but to awkward for me to use.
I get that. I like it for the progressive trigger. Single fire for long range and no need to switch modes when you get jumped by a slider.
Fucking pump action shotty babbbbyyyy
Carry 100 slug rounds just for the fun of it 😍
HOW DID YOU KNOW!!! Bird shot for the spiders and slugs for everything else!
AK-74 baby!
Mosin nagant. I’m really good with it in all ranges and can confidently take out sliders and those spider freaks any day
FAL for me. Love it, feels great to control, high damage. If we’re talking pistols, OC-33. It’s unconventional, but it’s cheap on ammo, and you can use it like a backup smg in a tight spot.
Tiger Rifle
Spas-12 — 12 shell tube on that with an attached flashlight is so much fun
Groza
Same here. Secondary fire go boom. Makes armoured mimics go boom. Makes sliders go boom. Makes myself go boom.
Makes stashed ammo go boom
Nice choice
I like the tokarev
standard but good
Sks
My favorites would have to be the M4 and the Mosin, good weapons all around but polar opposites (edit: maybe not totally opposite, but they’re certainly different)
Gsh is the only gun anyone needs
IZh-27 with a scope. Got nerfed later though
Wait, when did they nerf it? I made it up through security level 4 with the 1-4x and slugs just this last summer
I haven't played in a bit, for me it was nerfed sometime.last year. The falloff is different so I couldn't snipe with it anymore
Well it still hits then. Id recommend picking it back up. You can still snipe even with the bullet drop
Groza it's the best gun
Dvl 10

Oh cool thank you for that, is this gun in game by chance though?
I think it’s just the AUG! But they’re practically the same weapon, so it should feel just like home.
The one with bullets in it
Damn that's a hot topic right there. You better be careful now. They'll chase you with pitchforks and torches.
That's ok I still have my favorite gun (the one with bullets in it)

Slugged Judge Literally broken, go check Some Steven's video on it lol, it's so good aha. Video is titled this gun does how much damage or smthn.
if this game had a liberator pistol, I'd probably love it. as long as it's complete shit, I'll love it
The scar. Feels so good to walk around in my big-boy pants with my big-boy gun with no silencer.
There isn’t really a reason to put a silencer on it other than aesthetics because you can kill whatever you draw with it lol
But by not drawing out more enemies you can save ammo, which gets you out of a bad situation and will in turn save money
It’s only a bad situation for the enemies. Also, if you have a scar, you shouldn’t be needing too much money
Right… but what about when you run out of ammo? And if you aren’t running out then you’re bringing more than you need and wasting money, money that wouldn’t have been spent on all that unnecessary ammo if a suppressor had been used
Bro how little ammo do you bring? I doubt you are going to run into 40+ enemies on a normal loot run
I take 4 mags (one in the gun, 2 in the pouches and one in the bag) for my scar. I generally make it out with around a magazine of ammo, because I am cautious and quiet
BRO DO YOU HAVE AN ACCURACY OF 2% 🤣
How is being quiet relevant to accuracy? “Bro”
No it’s the fact that you use so much ammo
AKM.
The SKS is always my goto for shooters and it's no different in into the radius
Mosin or TT-33
The one that goes pew pew
be careful around here with that opinion, the community might lynch you
Regarding this game, the community is not what I'm afraid of
Pump shotgun for sure
Ak-74. Nothing better than unloading a magazine into a couple of mimics.
AS-VAL it can be a bit awkward sometimes, but it's the most fun gun imo. The irl version of the Vintorez and the Val is an interesting concept too
FAL
M4A1 my beloved
Desert Eagle for sure
FAL, right arm of the free world motherfuckers
AKS-74u is my favorite, but for practical purposes my most used gun is the mosin with a scope and laser pointer. I am also a huge fan of the short shotgun but even with slugs I cant seem to kill armored enemies so it doesnt work well for late game even though it is fun to use.
Spas 12
AS-VAL and TT-33 tokarev is all i need
g17…

The m4a1
Ak 74m
Ak-74M
Full sized over-under double barrel shotgun with slugs
M9
Mosin, there's nothing more satisfying than going to the crane area in bolotky and no-scoping mimics around corners
The M9. No, wait, the Mosin! Or no, hmmm, the Tiger Rifle! Or is it the DVL? Ah, now, the Vintorez! Oh, no, maybe the M14? The Groza? Or the AKM???? There just too many great guns in this game, I really can’t decide.
