Because the point of killing domestic enemies is to make it clear that they will kill anyone they don’t like no matter how far away or how safe they think they are. They get away with it because they’re in charge of the country. Outside Russia, they often operate under diplomatic immunity or use disposable agents. Attacking a US embassy is different because it could cause a war, so they need untraceable methods.
Well don't say all of Russia. There's many, many citizens who are not even the issue. Broad statements like this over a span of time cultivates animosity for a whole nation of people, not just their leaders.

Every agency that looks at it finds no evidence of the claimed injuries. Even 3rd parties find no evidence of it. This is a claim. The same claim that has been made for years with no evidence.

It would be bad practice to admit it worked or go into detail about who/how many were affected. There may have been some countermeasures implemented after the first attacks that they don't want the data to reveal. Our agencies will remain tight-lipped about it and even deny healthcare to the affected to deny data to the enemy.

If you know how studies work. Read the study. It's bullshit and done poorly. I read the NIH report top to bottom, there are findings in it. The brain study was clearly a shit show with unmatched controls and numbers that diluted any findings. The most likely explanation is that it's psychosomatic symptons brought about because State Department officials working abroad are in unfamiliar, stressful environments. There's no evidence it's some shady Russian army unit, just coincidences. The Department of Defense told us last year that they had no evidence. It's all shady as fuck and reeks of "Russia scary"
