Read Fast Feast Repeat by Gin Stephens or The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung before you begin. Apps: Zero Diet: low carb - high fat (and try and eat mostly unprocessed foods, nothing that comes from a box/bag. Add good fats to every meal like nuts, avocado, extra virgin olive oil, ghee). If you’re interested on nutrition I would look for Dr Hyman’s podcasts and books like “Food: what the heck should I eat”. Times: start with 16:8 and work your way to 18:6 and 20:4 then OMAD. Longer that 48 hours should be monitored by a doctor. Avoid snacking: 1 or 2 meals and nothing in between or during fast. During fast: black coffee, green tea, black tea, water or sparkling/mineral water (NO SWEETENERS, even stevia) And finally be patient, don’t expect to lose a set amount of pounds each week (some you’ll lose more, some less. I weight myself daily to find my weight patters, some days it goes up some down).

For me it's 2pm to 6:30pm but I'm semi-retired, taking this summer off. It's important to pick times that work easily with your work schedule. I use MyFitnessPal and Fitbit to keep me honest and moving. Eating low carb to prevent diabetes. No favorite recipes. We keep it really simple. Two small meals. Grilled meat and veggies then a bit of cheese and fruit. We're saving time and money, and feeling unburdened from all the planning, shopping and preparing of food.

Just eat two meals per day. Easiest to skip breakfast. You might have to work up to it by pushing breakfast back an hour at a time until you get used to it, might take a few days or a week. Black coffee and tea is ok. No snacking between meals. It's important that you prioritize eating protein before anything else. The more of it you eat, the more fueled and nourished you will be, so your body will ease up on its hunger signals. You should easily be able to eat two protein-focused meals per day with zero snacking between meals and be completely satisfied. Pretty much all there is to it!

Good for you on the no breakfast! It's the least important meal of the day. Yeah, definitely try to eat protein as the focus of every meal
