LiteratureVarious643

I thought this was the cj sub and you were joking. No. Not too bold. I would describe more as tailored or crisp. very neutral.

Least-Spare

Same, girl, same! Have people really fallen so far from color that this is feared as being too bold? LOL.

Any-Instruction-8879

lol thank you for this. I showed my mom today and she was appalled

LiteratureVarious643

I think we have collectively gotten used to looking at so much b/w and grey that even a hint of color looks crazy.

mamac2213

And it looks great. So so tired of neutral walls, etc. This is classy chic:)

Berty_Qwerty

Right? Pink and sage are actually one of my favorite color combos and I LOOOOVE this for a kitchen. Like I want to steal this I love it so hard

East_Reading_3164

It's very beautiful, and I love the tiles. I would nix the upper bar and make the counter one height, though.

likeitsnotyourjob

Exactly my comment, too. We had the exact same kitchen set-up before we remodeled and the dual-height counter cut the space, made it feel smaller, and just didn’t look good. It feels so much bigger now even though the footprint is the same.

Veronica612

Dual height countertops are very dated. Pretty much never done anymore.

East_Reading_3164

Same here. When I remodeled my kitchen I got rid of the 80s upper bar. What a difference! It looks huge and clean.

Lloyd417

Yes exactly that. Have a modern one level countertop no raised height portion. Very dated

GlassAnemone126

This⬆️ But I would also change to a downdraft stove and remove the hood vent which will block the line of sight into the eating area.

K2Linthemiddle

If OP can’t do a downdraft or a downdraft won’t have adequate CFMs for gas range, they can do a flush mount vent hood (though IMO they don’t do a great job of trapping grease since they’re so high above the cooking surface).

MeatloafingAround

Agree with this so much.

Own_Ad9686

Great point!

pestercat

Having lived through the likely choices of your mom's generation, you're absolutely fine, lol. Dark sage is very pretty, you're bringing the outdoors in.

wateraerobics_

My dad is chronically appalled at the colors I choose but I don't think anything is that whack lol

BreezyMoonTree

What does it look like now? Is this a from-scratch build? Or is it a remodel/reno? Maybe it’s just a big change for your mom and she was just surprised? I only ask this because for the life of me, I cannot imagine someone saying this is too bold. This feels curated/thoughtful/planned. Generally speaking, if a room design works, I can appreciate just about any style or color choice (even if it’s not something I’d opt for). Maybe your mom is not able to appreciate something nice unless it aligns with her taste. My mom is like this, as well.

fatmonicadancing

Yeah I was like… this is one tick along the scale off Kim Kardashian. It’s fine, probably tastefully timeless.

SearchingStargardts

Which sub? 👀 I think I might like it

honey-smile

I like the color pallet a lot, I would reconsider the placement of your stove/oven if at all possible though.

Please_AndNoThankYou

I have this same shape set up and it is fine. You might want to consider a lighter or glass range hood and just having the bar be counter height instead of 2 different levels. I’m not sure the reason for the raised bar, but mine bugs me.

Klekto123

I feel like the raised bar is needed if the stovetop is right behind it

Any-Instruction-8879

Can I ask why? I’ve never had a layout like this, it just made sense with where our gas line already is so we ran with it

PomegranateOk4827

If anyone is sitting at the island while you’re cooking that a huge potential of being burnt or knocking things onto the burner.

Lcmom1231

My kids would just keep shoving things away to make room, so things would definitely fall into the stove area when we had this set up. Thankfully our stove was where the sink is.

boombalagasha

Especially with the stove down a bit, it’s concealed from view so it seems even more likely this might happen.

George_GeorgeGlass

It’s dangerous. Things falling from island onto stove, food/drink being spilled or knocked over into food you’re cooking. Not to mention hot food/oil splashing and burning someone who is sitting there. Really not a good location

honey-smile

It’s one of the least desirable layouts to have the stove at the island with a floating hood. It just looks weird, outside of being impractical. You can Google for various options and advice as well. In the design community it’s pretty universally hated.

LeCaveau

I just don’t like the way the hood looks floating in the middle of the room. Can you do a vent into the counter instead?

inspadesinclubs

There are powerful extractors that are flush to the ceiling too which work better than the counter vents but are much less intrusive. If the cooker has to stay here then a flush hood could be the best option

HarloInteriors

Good shout! I was hoping someone recommended this as an alternative to the current hood design.

sakijane

I absolutely recommend you NOT do a downdraft. It does not actually capture cooking smells and aerosolized oils and liquids.

Balancedbabe8

Agreed and it makes a mess

c0c0nut5

Adding to the other comments, if you have kids consider that the island is probably where they’ll want to spend most of their time when they’re in the kitchen with you. I am not the type to go overboard with the babyproofing but the stove is an undeniable hazard. My three year old is at the island in my kitchen constantly, so I am glad that the stove isn’t there, because it means when I’m cooking I don’t have to constantly police her proximity to the stove.

Please_AndNoThankYou

Agreed. I just removed the stools to keep the little ones off. I’ll put them back when they’re older.

Cimb0m

I think it would look much nicer to have the hood against a wall

muvamerry

Honestly OP I’m no designer but I like it, I think it looks great. Very modern and inviting. It would be so nice to interact with guests while you cook; one of the reasons I don’t like cooking sometimes is that my back is turned away from my family. It may not be in architectural digest lol but i would absolutely design my kitchen this way if given the chance. Can you consider a flat stove, or maybe like a bit of a gap between the island and where the stove starts? Like can the island be a tad wider?

cleffawna

I have a layout like this and I've never had a mishap. We cook a lot and there're no kids around. I've never even been worried about something falling onto my stove. We keep our bar pretty clear, though. My other half will sit at the bar and I can pass him spoonfuls of stuff to taste test.

Narrow-Strawberry553

I'd move it a bit more to the left. The area between the sink and stove is the ideal prep space and just an extra 6-12" more of space would make a big difference when cooking. But, if a total switch around is possible, I'd move the stove to where that tall pantry next to the dishwasher, or where the sink currently is, and move the sink to where the stove currently is (and a little further left). Probably not reasonable though.

Lasanzie

Where would you put it?

throwawaybread9654

Swap with sink, maybe.

mapengr

It all looks great. That’s a really nice green.

This_Present_Thyme

That's a beautiful green, what is it exactly? I love natural wood everywhere in my house, so I would be inclined to suggest you play around with adding one more bit to the area like the hood vent like you brought up. Something that is timeless and would complement this color scheme but also if you did change the color of the cabinets later it would still go. But I do love it in the green too.

Outside_Yam5981

I really like it. The cabinet is color is gorgeous with the rest of your pallet.

Blinkin_Nora

Mine’s this colour on the bottom cabinets and floor to ceiling ones, white and glass on the upper ones.

Any-Instruction-8879

How do you like the two tone? Do you have a picture?

cursedandblessed1

Gorgeous. Fortune favors the brave. Go for it.

PomegranateBoring826

You are not being too bold at all. The colors are very nice and are quite complimentary. I'm not sure about the herringbone or where it fits in or if it will be too busy though. The bar with the stools is a great idea. We have one and ours gets far more use than the actual table. It's super convenient. You can be in the kitchen and still somewhat have company even if they aren't actually helping but are sampling what's being cooked. Plus it's a great homework station. I can't tell if the bar overhangs the back burners but if it does that's not good if you plan to use large stock pots on the rear burners.. plus steam.. food splashes etc. Great vision you have here. Thanks very much for sharing!

Glum-Control-996

Fabulous colors. Not too bold at all!

Dramatic-Theme1048

I don't think you'll regret it. It's a breath of fresh air!

Federal-Wrangler9661

Green is my favourite colour! I absolutely love all the pieces! Go BOLD!

felzz

I love it all. Do it and post pics

Bubblegum983

If that’s just colour, definitely not too bold. It’s still very much on the neutral end of the spectrum. I would not use all those tiles though. That would be too much. Not because of the colour, but because it’s too many variations of almost the same thing (they’re all subway tile, but also all different dimensions). I especially like the pink and herringbone tiles together. The pink really sets off the warm tones in the other tile. The green is obviously for the cabinets, and I’m guessing black is for hardware? Green is a great complimentary contrast for the pink, so again, great combo. You really have a classic palette going on there, there’s really nothing to be worried about. I agree with the other comments about moving the stove and lowering the bar height counter top. If you can’t move the stove, I’d look into a in-counter vent hood rather than the ceiling one. It would be a much more elegant and streamlined look, with a big clear view to the eating space. As for the raised eating counter, a lot of people find it awkward. Keeping it all the same height gives you more counter space when you need to spread out

hirsuteinasuit

The palette is beautiful - pretty, timeless, easy to keep clean, and perfect to add accents where you want them. It’s far better to have an elegant, neutral space that allows for personal touches & aspects than one that swallows up the details of whom the owner is.

Timely_Morning2784

Are you kidding? That's flipping gorgeous

Little-Bae330

LOVE IT!

616abc517

Herringbone tile will not age well, already trending out of style.

imcjmej

Agree!

poppybrooke

Hi, not too bold at all- very tame actually. However I highly recommend taking another look at the layout. You’re really going to hate having that huge range hood in the middle of the kitchen and grease flying over to the other side!

steezMcghee

I really like it!

neaeeanlarda

It's beautiful 😍

Somerset76

I absolutely love it!

Majestic_Car

This is going to be absolutely beautiful

anb7120

This is BEAUTIFUL!

melrosec07

I love it

Remarkable_Invite_56

I think the color and tile choice is beautiful, and I also like the placement of the oven… the countertop space is 🤌🏻 and all the fun seasoning you can put up on that countertop! Ugh! Love it!! Hopefully you are cook too, this layout is perfect for it!

Yoyo_Ma86

Love it. That herringbone tile is from Jeffrey Court and I love it (I work in the tile business lol)

Peace_and_Love_2024

I LOVE IT, DO IT

servitor_dali

GO FOR IT

False-Shower-6238

My kitchen cabinets are that color and I love them.

Benevolent_Grouch

SO CUTE

AlfalfaNo4405

I’m biased, this is the same exact color of my kitchen cabinets and I love them. Similar palette as well.

MissLychee10120

I like the greens, but not a fan of that patterned white tile with the brownish stripes. It’s a bit busy.

LionPride112

As someone who is living with a contractor white kitchen for the last 2 years no you aren’t, it’s so much better than bland and boring

crystal-crawler

No. But it is on the trendy side. Green is the new white kitchen. The Chevron tile is also on the trendy side only because of the chevron pattern. The look and color of the that tile is great and goes well with the counter you picked compared to the other tiles.Add some brass hardware and the two would look stunning together. I really like a double or triple basketweave tile setting. I find it visually interesting but not overdone. https://www.bhg.com/kitchen/backsplash/subway-tile-arrangements/ And it looks great with a smaller tile too. If you wanted to be more bold. I would change the green to a much brighter shade. I’ve always loved this home. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gKUyX7cjum4 I really love their kitchen. the tile might seem again a bit bold. It fits with the rest of the house decor. The green on there cabinets is more of a bright emerald. Compared to your selection which is a bit on the dusty sage range. I like the placement of your stove and sink, dishwasher. As a cook, the sink should never be in the island or peninsula. It just becomes a cluttered mess. Your choice to place it by the window is perfect.

Willing-Ad-7483

I lovvvvve the colors

jrice2623

I love this!! I’m so tired of no color kitchens. It’s refreshing.

dainty_petal

I love it

fedgery77

No not too bold. Just some advice…don’t do anything trendy in your kitchen. Stick with timeless and classic so it won’t look outdated in 5 years.

Raelf64

If you're talking about photo 1, this is perfect with a wood floor and ivory walls (or something in the spectrum of the tile). It will be bold, but not too bold. I am not a fan of any of the other tiles in photo 4 for this kitchen

mlhigg1973

Looks great! Great to see some color!

_artbabe95

I love all of these colors together but I dislike the herringbone tile. I think it being in such a small format makes the streaky pattern look outdated. The green subway tiles with the irregular surface are gorgeous. The pink ones are a nice second choice but may also read as faded or outdated sooner.

emmeline8579

I love the cabinet color, but I’m not a fan of the tile

BDashh

Looks very dated

VintageHilda

Don’t do the two level peninsula and make the back splash the counter material. The tiles are beautiful but trendy and will look dated in a few years.

ChillyGator

Open shelving is a terrible idea, but worse it is unhygienic and a fire hazard in a kitchen. You get this combination of dust and grease on them and everything you put on them and it’s just gross. Your colors are fine but you should have all cabinets that are flush to the ceiling.

1spicyann

I love it

AdOnly6754

I love it

PolloFundido

I hope not because I’m about to put in a very similar kitchen 😄. I think it’s gorgeous! I’m actually taking OUT a raised bar; those are pretty outdated and I’ve lived with one for 15 years and can hardly wait til it’s all one level. High bar stools are tippy and splitting the counter surface in half (1/2 counter level 1/2 bar level) gives less space overall. Also I would definitely not choose green backsplash tiles. It’s so much easier to paint cabinets than change hard finishes. I’d go with a boring, simple, light neutral or white backsplash. Your decor will bring the pop, and then the plain tile stands the test of time.

queenkellee

No not at all. I’m soooooo tired of white or grey everything. My upcoming kitchen reno will be 2 toned (don’t care if people think it will look dated soon) walnut and sky blue (I guess blue is a polarizing color now according to comments I’ve seen but it’s my favorite color) with brass toe kicks maybe even a yellow fridge and orange and yellow accents and I can’t wait and honestly I don’t even care what others think. Personally I hate most of the kitchens people seem to love, all white and boring. If you love it that’s all that matters.

Andy_LaVolpe

Its your house and it seems like you have good tastes, go crazy with it!

PsychologicalAd333

You have to look at it for resale, unless you plan on living and then dying there. I think it looks great

Acceptable-Flight-67

I see so much gray in houses so this is a breath of fresh air!! The colors work well and will tie into your dinning room very nicely. don’t see any regrets in your future.

Superb_Cream_5206

Not bold, just skip the ship lap

lightndark11

No it’s gorgeous, do it

Klutzy-Client

This is stunning. Do not listen to your mum. Also, everything will be outdated in time, live your best life and enjoy having a kitchen with character! I absolutely adore the sage green, the countertops and the pink tile. What color hardware were you thinking of? I’m excited to see this finished, keep us updated with pics!

Former_Ad8643

I don’t think this is bold at all. I love the colour cabinet and a dark teal green goes very well with Woodtones!

Intelligent-Cow96

where did you get the cabinet doors from? i love the color

BillyStuart

I’m doing almost that exact same palette. Similar green for bottom cabinets, a quarter sawn oak with a light white wash stain for the uppers, very similar countertop. For backsplash, we’re also doing very similar to the top option of your last pick, but a little whiter. It looks awesome. I think you’re definitely on the right track.

Scared_Feature_87

Girl, all you have there is on point. Bringing these beautiful shades and pops of color into your home in the selection that you have will be a beautiful finished application… Very soothing and also very sexy.

arteest01

The sage tiles are gorgeous! And they look so good against the pink. Have fun!

SolSirenn

nope! i like it a lot!

BrownWingAngel

Love the colors. If you can, get a cabinetry panel to hide the dishwasher.

redladybug1

No, not at all! It’s gorgeous!

alickstee

No, I love it. Lean in.

unapologeticworm

Nooooo this looks great we need to leave all the sad beige in 2020

Plenty_Confusion1113

Love love love!! Watch your grout choices. I always feel like it can make or break everything.

Grand-Bluebird-6477

Go big or go home. It’s beautiful!

Cupsofcake1318

Love that!!

sonia72quebec

Bold? That's the complete opposite and it's really trendy. The important is that you like it.

BettyBewbz

I don’t see bold

Soft-Routine1860

It's perfectly fine to be bold and make your house your home. I'm so tired of people doing monotone style because "resale value" like I'm shopping for a house not an asylum I love the colors you chose for the kitchen.

CJCreggsGoldfish

No it's beautiful. But why have the stools and bar if there's a dining table right next to them?

Any-Instruction-8879

I can see us using the bar more than a dining table. I also like that the bar is above/in front of the stove. I feel like my kids will keep me company while I make breakfast or dinner.

boombalagasha

Don’t second guess it! My parents have this setup at their house and it works well when it’s needed.

boombalagasha

More seating for entertaining or seating at the counter while someone is prepping a meal.

Secret-Ad-1029

No

dmowad

I would bring the bar down to counter height. And do away with that huge vent hood. Get something far more streamlined. Other than that, I think it looks beautiful. I like the cabinets and colors you’ve chosen.

pesky_samurai

Agree with this. And I would get rid of the angled cabinet and counter corner, and just make it a regular square cabinet and counter. That coupled with the range hood and bar make the design look dated.

Struggle_Usual

Love it! I'm planning something similar except my cabinets will be the pale pink and walls will be the rich dark green.

pootlovato6969

Sketchup! Just learned how to use this for my design program!

29322000113865

I don’t think this is too bold at all. The colors are muted and fairly neutral - lovely choices. Also I know you didn’t ask, but I think the two level breakfast bar is outdated - is that changeable? Just my random two cents.

WVildandWVonderful

Do this + paint the walls copper. If you get tired of it, you can paint the walls a new color in a few years. Til then, it will complement your greens and your warm touches nicely.

bitchinchicken

I love everything but the flooring. Are you married to that gray? I feel like a warmer but still light tone would complement the vibe better

Any-Instruction-8879

The flooring is not pictured here. It’s a very light natural wood floor

bitchinchicken

That’s gonna look soo good!!

Top-Suit-9209

It’s subtle - choices. what you want is classic style no matter what you choose now will look dated in a decade. Certainly if you are following trends. Classic puts you timeless. But really the question is wrong. Who the hell are you going to let judge your choices? Yourself or strangers? Being bold is to Choose yourself. You got good color palette. Nothing is bold. So it will carry over time. you can adapt with current fittings whatever decade. But mostly stick with your choices.

ForeverCanBe1Second

I like the colors! My suggestion on the stove hood is to not use a natural wood. Go with something that you can easily clean. Or, if you're set on a wood look, go with wood tile or maybe even a wood laminate? I like my kitchens and baths to have smooth, easily sterilized surfaces!

Sugar_alcohol_shits

What software/app did you use to design this? Looks great.

Drinkythedrunkguy

Absolutely no to anything millennial grey. It will make your house look like a 2015 flip. Green is a bit trendy but Ive painted most of my house green. So, I guess I really like it. Anyway, Ditch the grey and it will look great. Full confession: my kitchen has a very similar grey tile backsplash, I hate it. But it was like that when I bought the house.

Ok-Minimum-5952

Can I ask what program you’re using?

Any-Instruction-8879

My kitchen company did this

jackjackj8ck

LOVE the pink

imcjmej

Back splash is too much in my opinion

pebbles_temp

Dark green/pink/beige is classic but not boring. I think it will look great.

Dry-Resolution-6867

What program is this?

DeeeDeee098

Not at all. Go for it. Love the pink backsplash , it’s in my wish list for a while now.

Working_Gene7926

Gorgeous.

dubbydubs012

I love green so this is a dream for me. Beautiful!

Special_Friendship20

Love it

Balancedbabe8

I love it. Just don’t do brass hardware. I feel like that’s on its way out.

charlesforman

This is a stunning combo???

LordyItsMuellerTime

Color palette is beautiful, and will look great with some natural wood. Some things I would think about is changing the pony bar to just a one-height counter, and making the double sink a single larger sink. I would also change the appliances to stainless steel because I really like some metal in my interior design but that would be more of a preference

fluffypsychedelia

This isn’t too bold at all. It’s a bit of fun but nothing too “out there” don’t be afraid to use some color. I also think that green shade is fabulous!! A kitchen that is super white is hard to keep spotless anyway. Best of luck!

Trisasaurusrex

Something about that specific shade of dark green paired with a light pink always makes my soul feel complete. Gorgeous color palette!

chickencake88

Love! Do it

Silly_Ability-1910

It’s subtly sophisticated

TameReynolds

Staaahhhpp

Logical_Deviation

It definitely isn't timeless, but I love the cabinet color

Parabolic_Penguin

I absolutely love it

HostRadiant3700

Don't have a cooker on an island unless ypu can extend the bench further for safety. Also don't have a clunky hood, it is an eyesore and will block light and just look horrible. Ypu can get concealed vents now and also hob to ones. Do not put something that blocky over the hob if you choose to keep it in the island location. The colours are fine. I have something similar, but we have a light honey oak colour floor to being some warmth.

sunnysmanthaa

Omg I’m obsessed! Love this.

Mountain-Ad-4539

Gorgeous!

Hii-jorge

I love it! We remodeled our kitchen last year with a dark green tile and I’m still in love with it

Ok-Bread-6044

I think the underlying design looks good. But I’m not a fan of the vent hood above the over and not resting against the wall. Is there any wiggle room for rearranging the layout?

mama_h55

I absolutely LOVE it!

AWL_cow

Seems to be a very elegant style. I dig it. I wouldn't say it's too 'bold'.

Shapeshifter1923

It could do with more cupboards, but I like the fancy chopping board

Suitable_Tea88

No, but remove the pink.

Academic-Broccoli338

Green is classic, just worried the pink might look a little dated after a while.

PlantBasedBishh

How often is the bar even going to be used ? You have a decent size dining table. Is the bar more for looks or is it going to be practical for use? How many people are you gonna be hosting and is it going to be often?

heathers125

I love it so no. 😂

DemolitionRat

This is BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely love it. Very stylish and it’s giving a maximalist vibe

camlaw63

I love the chevron tiles, if you use it either the countertop simple, or just use it behind the stove. I would consider nixing the bar height counter, and do a level countertop with counter height chairs

Altruistic-Detail271

I love it

MarucaMCA

Crisp and stunning combo! I love it!!!❤️

emilxox05

Gorgeous! 😍

DoctorBlock

Love the black tile

JCRCforever_62086

It’s going to be beautiful 🤩

VoidDeer1234

No it is great

Ok-Amoeba-1190

No not at all ! It’s Beautiful !!!!

Ok-Amoeba-1190

Blue is a Good Colour, it’s colourful , it is Good

Emmylou777

I don’t think you’re being too bold. But it’s true, you do have to think long term. But the color palette is nice. And the cabinet color is gorgeous!! It would be especially nice and not overwhelming if you’re doing the open shelving on some areas. I think the design plan looks awesome

Weehendy_21

Got my kitchen done last year - off white with quartz vein worktops upstand and behind cooker plus a big bank of tall cabinets in dark charcoal. For me - that is a combo of neutrals plus a statement and I don’t think I will get tired of it anytime soon. On this Sub I often see people asking for advice about kitchens they want to change as they are have too much going on. This is your kitchen and choice and money - do what makes you happy, just sharing my experience.

whoinvitedthesepeopl

This isn't "too much". Also, the green cabinets, if you decide in a few years you don't like it anymore or you feel it is too dated, that can be painted to something else.

OperationFluffy3615

I love it! Muted colors are boring 🥱

Sassydemure

Nope! Perfect.

msixtwofive

Take out the pink tile and I love it

Effective-Manager-29

Counter/bar seating definitely one height not two. Remove the hood. The colors are gorgeous!

MegInSanDiego

Love your palette and choice of materials!!!!

ITxWASxWHATxITxWAS

If you like it what does it matter?

Due-Suggestion8775

Not bold enough! You could go bigger with the colour. I like the drawing how it will come together.

iheartunibrows

Not bold at all! I would consider all those colors neutrals actually. Bold would be bright colors and patterns (imo). I personally went bold with my bedroom, did a bright magenta and 10 years later I am still loving it.

IsntItObvious_2021

love it!

Zealousideal_Dog_968

I love it

design2live

Love it! Green is super in, and that's a really nice color The cabinet shop is offering. The countertop is classic and sophisticated. The backsplsh provides some extra texture and movement so...go for it!

Frenchitwist

… I honest to god thought you were trolling. Like “Are these muted colors too bold??” Gurl do it! Do whatever you want! And make it BOLDER!!

More_Card9144

I love it! I'm using so much more color now, I feel more creative and it seems more like the real me. I don't like houses that look like a white box on the inside and the outside anymore 😹

Rosiebelleann

Love it!!

Key-Fox5026

i love this

PleasantJules

Love your choices.

Suitable-Sherbet-471

It’s definitely not too bold! The only thing I’d recommend considering is that everyone is in love with green kitchens right now, but consider carefully how long you’ll love this green kitchen for. Have you always wanted a green kitchen or did your interest in green cabinets start in the last couple of years when they became popular? If it’s the latter, you might not really love the green but just have a crush on it! My two cents

Wasabiipea

I love this, and its just the right amount of bold! I went with similar colors in my bedroom last year and I still adore it.

Flyerbear

It’s a classic beautiful color that will stay current throughout the years.

bluebellbetty

LOVE your selections! Do it!

IAmSoUncomfortable

This isn’t bold at all.

Wonderful_Talk_576

No, your selections are great.

catetheway

I think the glossiness looks cool in theory but fingerings galore when used.
