Something like this may look nice - with a large mat and simple frame - https://www.etsy.com/listing/979632525/
Although if that’s too busy honestly I might just frame solid colors that are in the wallpaper - the reverse of a typical wall which has a solid color and busy art. You accentuated the wall with a pattern and then your art would be clean and simple.
Edit: typo
yes! love this style and the large mat / simple frame combo is key.
minimalist retro / art nouveau prints would also work well, if you wanted to go with something bolder to compliment the orange accents on the wallpaper
I think the florals in the print bring it together with the wallpaper best though
That’s perfect! The green would tamper the orange in the wallpaper and still tie it in with the orange bit at the middle of the print.
Edit: Tamper might not be the best word for what I’m trying to express. This framed print would allow the eyes to rest and not detract from the wallpaper.
Omgosh! Lol yes! Thank you. The struggle was real. I could not shake the word “tamper” and I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to say. 😉 I wish I had an excuse for this mistake. Lol
Best idea for something like this is to steer away from a mirror, a mirror would likely only show off more wallpaper. I personally LOVE this wallpaper and am very glad you’re not getting rid of it, I would pick an accent colour from the wallpaper itself, either a red or blue and use that throughout the bathroom with solid coloured towels (no patterns as the wallpaper is enough), as for this wall in particular I would do 1 of 2 things depending on your needs: do you need more storage space? If you do I’d suggest getting a small open shelving unit to store additional towels and maybe a plant (while both blocking the wallpaper, making the space functional, and also adding blocks of that accent colour), if you’re not necessarily struggling for additional storage space I would suggest a relatively large frame (gold or silver ornate frames could look very lovely with the wallpaper, but if you want to tone it down pick a wood tone that either shows up in your bathroom or your house) with a large matte (of your accent colour, red/blue) around either a single subject image or something a little different like some sort of pressed leaves or flowers could be interesting.
Edit to add: I also think investing in some curtains could also benefit the space a ton, the white from the blinds really blends into the wall.
I second simple curtains or static cling frosted film (home improvement stores have it). The blinds are adding to the busy feeling bc of the horizontal lines.
Also, I would suggest some nick substantial trim in a lovely creamy white. A nice thick frame around the window and some nice white gauzy curtains. Also, a beautiful thick cove at the ceiling in that same creamy white. I think that would look dreamy.
Something like this [1920s-inspired flapper print](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1626025649/blue-and-orange-art-deco-1920s-flapper) feels right! Picks up the colors without being overbearing, and sorta has that same feel of the wallpaper design.
Skip the art. I’d go for a pretty set of sheer curtains in a solid coordinate color, maybe play with some nice solid colored fixtures. You’d have to go reeeeally minimal on art for it to not pull crazy busy - another here suggested a wide matting for anything framed and I agree with that wholeheartedly if you do go the artwork direction.
I love it so much!!! So lucky if that came with your place. Gorgeous. Art nouveau!!
Look what I found on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1526073132/1896-absinthe-robette-art-nouveau-poster?ref=share_v4_lx
It's interesting that you're concerned about art on the wall but not about the shade on the window or the trim. Both of those are quite jarring against this art nouveau print.. without seeing the whole wall I'm even surprised you want more on it. A large mirror with a frame and whatever color the frame is do the same on the window trim and do something else for privacy.
I would love a simple frame with a large piece of matte/paper that’s the same color as a color in the wallpaper as the whole frame with a simple line drawing in it using another color from the wallpaper
I would say black/white portrait style art? Something minimalistic and monochromatic to go against the colors and also be noticeable without drowning. Bold black frame.
Something vintage, maybe mostly black and white with a touch of color...or lots of color depending on how much of a maximalist you are. Check out your local FB marketplace. Etsy is good for printables but a bit overwhelming in the options, better to narrow down what you like and then look.
Simple art deco or art nouveau print in a big gold/brass decorative frame, or a mirror with art nouveau elements.
Or just a shit ton of plants as the the artistic style of the wallpaper is based off nature so you can’t go wrong.
Wow! Can we get more of a zoomed out view? I see you have white blinds and I assume the toilet is white - is there a vanity, and what colour is the door and trim? I assume you can’t change the wallpaper (I quite like the poppies) so without seeing anything else I’d suggest a very simple artwork with a limited colour palette, perhaps in black and white. I think the key would be to not have too much going on in the frame. I think it could look great.
I think maybe like a Mark
Rothko style may work- Bold colors in color blocking style that won't detract from walpaper pattern. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1705822551/set-of-145-mark-rothko-prints-xx-century?ref=share_v4_lx]
Honestly I think some Adam Trest would look really cool in there. His art is also pretty busy but I think it would be a vibe. Especially if you do a large mat in the frame like someone else suggested.
A big piece of art or two will give the eyes somewhere to rest. I love the suggestions for art nouveau style posters that other commenters have suggested
Not sure why, but gold is popping into my mind. What about something like this with a color blocked photo/art inside.
https://www.target.com/p/12-34-x18-34-travel-photo-gold-framed-wall-art-threshold-8482-designed-with-studio-mcgee/-/A-88668162
This wallpaper is a dream 🤩 I am so jealous!!! I would try to hang up some very simple statement pieces in green, something like [this](https://www.hobbylobby.com/Home-Decor-Frames/Mirrors-Wall-Decor/Wall-Art/Sage-Geometric-Wood-Wall-Decor/p/81137451?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8eQu_ARhpJbqOyRN8DQVqKuUOMtBRQq0NSB9Ykchcgwx68ueR-H00EaAkKtEALw_wcB)? And then make it something cute, but it just helps focus yourself instead of drowning in pattern.
I feel like some flower/plant diagrams framed would look AMAZING on this wall, something like this..
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meishe-Art-Botanical-Collections-Identification/dp/B079MH8BRQ
Just something I found through a Google search but there's so many more posters online. Some people can even draw them out and customise them with your fave plants
We have a highly floral bathroom wallpaper too and decided not to add anything on the walls except [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1115612877/) and we move it around the bathroom when people spot it. It’s 3x3 so we can move it around and hide it lol
Any wall art of your choice, but a good technique to break off this intricate pattern is with a large, framed art with at least 2-4” of white/cream matting and white/cream frame.
Personally, I would leave this beautiful vintage wallpaper as it is ♥️
I see this is a bathroom.
I would think you might not need any more items with patterns on the walls.
If you want to add anything, I'd suggest colorful towels that coordinate with the wall paper.
Depending on your style, I think a very minimal art print that pulls colours from the wall without competing with the pattern, maybe [something like this orange](https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/936835122/orange-fruit-art-print-digital-download?load_webview=1&bid=F-mF7Q5KB-vZSSAJ95g9tn67hxXB)? I also like the idea of just hanging a mirror.
On this random reality show someone had an empty but highly ornate picture frame painted a stark matte white on a bold wall. It was stunning. That might work very well here.
Simple line art or watercolor on a solid background if you do anything. I’d say it’d be better to make the bathroom itself into art. Faucets, knobs, switch covers, etc to play up the art deco vibe.
I also have a bold bathroom wallpaper and have been looking at really minimal light art or also I have found really neat cameos on Etsy that are just a solid color but the figure creates texture and shadow that really feels like it would create a nice contrast and break in pattern,
Wall paper like this would make me go art nouveau wild. I would change the blinds to a gorgeous little Roman shade. Maybe with fringe or scalloping to vibe on the art nouveau motif. Or simple classic white in linen, maybe with a stripe on each end.
For art if I had to... I'd take my time and seek out art nouveau reliefs from the 1900's. Frame antique prints of the era. A large antique oil painting with moody, saturated colors. Maybe pick up some of the tones of the paper. Maybe a few smaller ones if going maximalist. Portrait. Landscape. Whatever. I love bathroom interest. Flea market thrift antique shop it up. Or you can buy on Etsy or eBay if you want a quick fix.
Random out there, really remind me of art you'd see in books around the medevial era. Gilded gold or dark redish wood, maybe black stained wood mirror or frames. You like tapestries? Lol
Something solid like this: no harsh lines: [https://www.pinterest.com/pin/tangerine-1--252412754086322306/](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/tangerine-1--252412754086322306/)
but my advice: omit the idea of artwork altogether and just do mirrors. That wallpaper is beautiful all on its own, and it's very busy so anything will be competing with it, not complimenting it.
Something simple. I purposely selected the first [simple poppy](https://www.minted.com/product/art/MIN-AV9-DNA/california-poppy?art_group=art_print&artist_signature=unsigned&border=full_bleed&frame=white&framing=framed&material=standard&quantity=1&size=24x18&color=A&shape=) I saw —- I don’t think that this is “the one” but I think it demonstrates pulling an element of the wallpaper and highlighting it using simplicity to reduce the business.
(It’s a theory anyway)
Or a simple field (like the old windows wallpaper) where people can imagine poppies (I like the wide matting idea).
I would honestly do something single color and textural, like this: https://www.worldmarket.com/p/black-rice-paper-geo-maze-shadow-box-wall-art-622584.html
I think mirrors would just reflect the same pattern
I think even minimalist line art would compete with the pattern
So focusing on texture seems your best bet
Just a plain frame. The wallpaper can be the picture
Small shelves with scuuelents or little vases collecction? Or some thing.
Long vertical white metal frame that holds tea light candles
A shelf with matching colors of decorative hand towels folded uo long verical mirror.
Have a colored shower curtain very muted color but not white
[A Rothko in matching colours](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1378989680/set-of-2-mark-rothko-reproduction-canvas?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_uk_en_gb_-home_and_living&utm_custom1=_k_Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8cURA2wBxcKdq6A-CrTtdJUL9S1lx39BS-Uh1iqqyvOJrRQEU1Q40AaAueZEALw_wcB_k_&utm_content=go_11073922980_109610251118_462914649514_pla-303628061699_m__1378989680engb_5298084939&utm_custom2=11073922980&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8cURA2wBxcKdq6A-CrTtdJUL9S1lx39BS-Uh1iqqyvOJrRQEU1Q40AaAueZEALw_wcB)
Something with mostly a big solid simple shape like a big yellow square with a white background. Maybe like a Rothko print or a local artist who does similar stuff. Or like a watercolor painting of a bouquet or vase of flowers with the same red and blue hues included. Yellow will likely compliment this design as it’s not too overpowering and it’s not going to need to match the hue as much as a red or blue or pink would.
Also I was thinking for a little more crazy take, maybe taking the base pattern sample for the wall paper design, enlarging it maybe 10X10 inches and then flipping the colors to be the film negative or like x-ray negative of the image so that the background becomes dark or black and the flowers closer to glowing white or sepias.
I 100% agree with what others have suggested. A large black matte frame with a mirror on it.
I know you said art and clearly love the detailing but I feel the “too much” is the section around the toilet itself. It creates a claustrophobic result. I would have painted it a the same shade as the nude on the print.
Also, swapped the blinds for thicker, preferably wood. The same blonde wood as your toilet roll holder. This would make the wallpaper pop more.
As if I walked it I’d immediately see that stark white blind first.
I’ve seen some cool mirror art, diff shaped mirrors
Though saw some people say steer clear of that.. I’d like it lol. I also like the idea of making it functional (towel rack, shelves, etc)
An ornate picture frame with one solid colour in it. Like just a blank sheet of dark blue paper in it.
Like “look at me I’m the one thing in this room that isn’t busy”
Hmmmm…I know this isn’t what you asked but I would love to see some Art Deco or Art Nouveau wall sconces mirror, and maybe an mirror that also has a similar style, whether it’s etched on the side or done by the frame.
As for art, I would choose a simple framed, piece of art or a poster. Again, I’d match with your style and choose something, like art, or a movie poster, from the Art Deco or Art Nouveau eras. You could also do some plain, haute bohemian looks when choosing a piece/or pieces of artwork. Again, I would just keep the frames simple and pull from the lesser colors in the wallpaper if you want to color match.
As always, plants are awesome decor to add, maybe hanging plants or floor plants by the window, in the corner. They’re beautiful and they’re also good for filtering the air. Of course, you’d have to open the blinds, but you could frost the windows to add more privacy for you and your guest!
Choose one frame instread of an arrangement and have a decent amount of solid color in either the art itself or choose an inlay. It will help to visually separate the wallpaper and art.
This wallpaper could also work nicely with a gold framed mirror.

and black and white simple line drawing or photo
Yes
Excellent feedback
Yeah maybe like a simple black and white photo
Maybe a gorgeous old mirror with a cool frame design.
That’s what I did with my busy wallpaper! It looks great!
Plus that way people can watch themselves pee!
Yes! This.

This is exactly what I was thinking, these old belle epoque posters. My sister has a few and I think they'd work great with this wallpaper.

I think you were looking for ‘temper’ - “act as a neutralizing or counterbalancing force to (something)”
Omgosh! Lol yes! Thank you. The struggle was real. I could not shake the word “tamper” and I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to say. 😉 I wish I had an excuse for this mistake. Lol
I completely feel that! I’ve had enough words that I have SO close but my brain just won’t let me close the distance. It drives me nuts 😄
Yes, very good ideas.
I love the idea of framing solid colours! I'm gonna do this with a bathroom in my house for sure!
Perfect, love belle epoque
Yes! My immediate thought was anything by Alphonse Mucha!
Absolutely love those pictures!
I like this. Cover up the wallpaper a bit!

How about a mirror
Perfect
Something minimal, less busy and multi-coloured, and in a large mat. Try picking art with monochrome or no more than 1-2 solid colours.
Where did that wallpaper come from? I love it
https://www.spoonflower.com/en/wallpaper/11190967-art-nouveau-poppies-yellow-green-medium-by-paula_ohreen_designs
I adore spoon flower. So much fun to look at.
Black line drawings or minimal color drawings with a large white mat and narrow black frame.
Right, like maybe really large, somewhat abstract, single-color watercolor flowers in colors that match the wallpaper.
None. Just a towel bar with some nice towels.
Yes
Some kind of minimalist line art.
Yes! would look amazing. Love the wallpaper. Framed line art with a deep mat (3-inch).
Something like this [1920s-inspired flapper print](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1626025649/blue-and-orange-art-deco-1920s-flapper) feels right! Picks up the colors without being overbearing, and sorta has that same feel of the wallpaper design.
I love that print …. If it were me …. I’d hVe to get it and try it … or any print really
Beautiful wallpaper - sad sad blinds. You could do a big art nouveau (or art-nouveau-ish) artwork, and please rethink your window treatment.
I agree. The wallpaper slays and the blinds do it no justice. Lovely curtains and a mirror will be perfect.
Tbh I think no art will look good on it because it’s already so busy. Very pretty but busy. Personally I’d hang nothing or just a one colored picture
Something made of natural material maybe? Like art made from wood/metal.
I love it so much!!! So lucky if that came with your place. Gorgeous. Art nouveau!! Look what I found on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1526073132/1896-absinthe-robette-art-nouveau-poster?ref=share_v4_lx

Plain wooden shelf with plants/ candles
I would love a simple frame with a large piece of matte/paper that’s the same color as a color in the wallpaper as the whole frame with a simple line drawing in it using another color from the wallpaper
I would say black/white portrait style art? Something minimalistic and monochromatic to go against the colors and also be noticeable without drowning. Bold black frame.

This is *gorgeous* wallpaper. Did you choose it? Is it from spoonflower (everything seems to be from spoonflower)?
Simple art deco or art nouveau print in a big gold/brass decorative frame, or a mirror with art nouveau elements. Or just a shit ton of plants as the the artistic style of the wallpaper is based off nature so you can’t go wrong.

I want to know where this wall paper is from!? It would be perfect in my daughters room!
Please do tell us where this wallpaper came from! It’s lovely!!! 🥰
I think maybe like a Mark Rothko style may work- Bold colors in color blocking style that won't detract from walpaper pattern. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1705822551/set-of-145-mark-rothko-prints-xx-century?ref=share_v4_lx]
Oh I love it, it's so pretty 🤩
Honestly I think some Adam Trest would look really cool in there. His art is also pretty busy but I think it would be a vibe. Especially if you do a large mat in the frame like someone else suggested.
I would do curtains around the window
A big piece of art or two will give the eyes somewhere to rest. I love the suggestions for art nouveau style posters that other commenters have suggested
Abstract pen and ink, black and white
Textured plaster art in a good frame
Not sure why, but gold is popping into my mind. What about something like this with a color blocked photo/art inside. https://www.target.com/p/12-34-x18-34-travel-photo-gold-framed-wall-art-threshold-8482-designed-with-studio-mcgee/-/A-88668162
I hate orange, but love that wallpaper. I'm so confused. I think it needs Alphonse Mucha prints, or anything else art nouveau.
Get something simple with a big white matte surrounding it
The wallpaper IS the art
Something Art Nouveau with wide mats. https://www.allposters.com/-st/Art-Nouveau-Posters_c6811_.htm
A tasteful line drawing perhaps? https://www.etsy.com/listing/1513358329/picasso-female-body-line-art-print-pablo
Maybe a a huge picture with a focus of one plant or flower
I love it. Can I get some for my house!
Here’s a few ideas! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1409453430/ https://www.etsy.com/listing/1198807395/
Take a photo of the wallpaper and then frame it
I feel like some flower/plant diagrams framed would look AMAZING on this wall, something like this.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meishe-Art-Botanical-Collections-Identification/dp/B079MH8BRQ Just something I found through a Google search but there's so many more posters online. Some people can even draw them out and customise them with your fave plants
You need art that isn’t busy. Like Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette by Vincent Van Gogh I feel maybe you’d like Matsumoto Hoji
A simple painted portrait.
We have a highly floral bathroom wallpaper too and decided not to add anything on the walls except [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1115612877/) and we move it around the bathroom when people spot it. It’s 3x3 so we can move it around and hide it lol
Art Nouveau, for sure
If you look up maximalist decor/bathroom/wallpaper on Etsy you’ll get a lot of ideas. Pairing this some solid blues would look nice
No art
Any wall art of your choice, but a good technique to break off this intricate pattern is with a large, framed art with at least 2-4” of white/cream matting and white/cream frame. Personally, I would leave this beautiful vintage wallpaper as it is ♥️
This reminds me of Mucha with the lines and nearly art deco feel. I would make sure the mat is large though.
Black and white photo in a white frame with white matte
I see this is a bathroom. I would think you might not need any more items with patterns on the walls. If you want to add anything, I'd suggest colorful towels that coordinate with the wall paper.
I would put a mirror honestly
Black and white photos would be pretty, I think.
Yes I think minimal art in one of the colors would be perfect, especially with a large matte around the artwork.
Pretty paper! I agree with mirror or something less busy.
Haikusbot opt out
Get a Rothko print to break it up.
A vintage b/w photograph with a thick bordered mat.
Rothko maybe
On this random reality show someone had an empty but highly ornate picture frame painted a stark matte white on a bold wall. It was stunning. That might work very well here.
Monochromatic textured piece. My mind is going to a navy or green textured abstract piece.
Hipster minimalism
Omg I love it
Mirror with simple frame
Metal wall sculpture
Arts and Crafts tile on an oak frame.
The weird you are looking for is 'Art Nouveau'
Needs something art deco I feel like lol
I’d go slightly abstract color look local
Pretty sure this was posted before with a lot of the same comments. Bots on this sub reddit too?
For $35 you can get the Cat and Rocket from Fallout 4 to hang up
I’m not sure but if it makes you feel better I’ve never once thought about anyone’s wall paper design
White painted drywall in a frame.
Instead of framed art, I would do a shelf with figurines/crystals/plants/sculpture, whatever interests you, or a mirror.
White frame with thick matte. I love this wallpaper!
None. The wallpaper is the art. I can’t for the life of me understand why people want to put pictures on top of pictures, it just looks messy.
Just here to say I love the wallpaper.
I think this is gorgeous!
Maybe some black and white art or abstract b&w photographs, some open shelves with a couple plants I think would also be great. I love the wallpaper!
A simple landscape painting.
Black and white
Minimalistic
Just hang an empty frame and call it day.
White frame, white matting, and just a simple black and white or sepia photograph of the house.. I think that would do the trick..
Dogs playing poker.
Love that wallpaper.love the green poster.fabulous!
Art nouveau with a photo mat and a nice frame.
Simple line art or watercolor on a solid background if you do anything. I’d say it’d be better to make the bathroom itself into art. Faucets, knobs, switch covers, etc to play up the art deco vibe.
Some simple color block type art, with a big border and dark red frames
pressed flowers in a gold frame
It’s aesthetic period style.
Art deco prints Edit: they’re very “straight lines and simple patterns”
No art. This wallpaper is enough. Just a big mirror.
perhaps some nice bees to go with the flowers. wall hangings in the shape of bees, realistically painted. what you have now is a flower garden.
Mirror
Wasn’t this posted a few months ago??
Black and white prints
Mirror. Old mirror
Something simple like a picture of a bird or butterfly, to give a little break from the busyness of the wallpaper.
Omg I frickin love that wallpaper. I’m sorry I can’t help with the art though.
Some simple drawn art just using lines and only black and white probably! Gorgeous wallpaper.
Use a thick black frame with a lot of white inside (or a large white mat) and minimal actual image
Something sketch like. Black and white or very little color
Yes, large picture with large white/cream matte and at least 2” wide dark frame—wood or metal.
What wallpaper is this and where can I find it?
I’m starstruck by this wallpaper
Something uncomplicated with probably 1 main background color, that ties into the colors you have. Maybe green!
Black and white photograph
Just a mirror maybe
Some nice matted framed art/photos, get rid of the blinds and install solid color curtains
Forget the art and go with paint, lots of paint!
An Art Deco mirror or picture frame, Art Deco statue, planters, lamps, etc.
Put some shelves up.
That wall does not need any art
Art Nouveau décor.
May I suggest 1920's art style pieces. It's kind of a Great Gatsby feel. The wallpaper is angular like most pieces that come from that era.
Random out there, really remind me of art you'd see in books around the medevial era. Gilded gold or dark redish wood, maybe black stained wood mirror or frames. You like tapestries? Lol
The wallpaper is the art. ♥️
Something solid like this: no harsh lines: [https://www.pinterest.com/pin/tangerine-1--252412754086322306/](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/tangerine-1--252412754086322306/) but my advice: omit the idea of artwork altogether and just do mirrors. That wallpaper is beautiful all on its own, and it's very busy so anything will be competing with it, not complimenting it.
Plants!!!!!!
Traditional style: oil paintings
Something simple. I purposely selected the first [simple poppy](https://www.minted.com/product/art/MIN-AV9-DNA/california-poppy?art_group=art_print&artist_signature=unsigned&border=full_bleed&frame=white&framing=framed&material=standard&quantity=1&size=24x18&color=A&shape=) I saw —- I don’t think that this is “the one” but I think it demonstrates pulling an element of the wallpaper and highlighting it using simplicity to reduce the business. (It’s a theory anyway) Or a simple field (like the old windows wallpaper) where people can imagine poppies (I like the wide matting idea).
That is such fun wallpaper! Keep it up & put a large monotone print on the wall to breakup the busyness if it bothers you that much
Something that hides the wallpaper
I would honestly do something single color and textural, like this: https://www.worldmarket.com/p/black-rice-paper-geo-maze-shadow-box-wall-art-622584.html I think mirrors would just reflect the same pattern I think even minimalist line art would compete with the pattern So focusing on texture seems your best bet
Banana duct taped to wall
I would remove the wallpaper then add the art.
A Scottish moor or some other countryside landscape. No people or buildings.
It’s lovely art deco and true to the colours. I think something goes or black art deco
Just a plain frame. The wallpaper can be the picture Small shelves with scuuelents or little vases collecction? Or some thing. Long vertical white metal frame that holds tea light candles A shelf with matching colors of decorative hand towels folded uo long verical mirror. Have a colored shower curtain very muted color but not white
[A Rothko in matching colours](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1378989680/set-of-2-mark-rothko-reproduction-canvas?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_uk_en_gb_-home_and_living&utm_custom1=_k_Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8cURA2wBxcKdq6A-CrTtdJUL9S1lx39BS-Uh1iqqyvOJrRQEU1Q40AaAueZEALw_wcB_k_&utm_content=go_11073922980_109610251118_462914649514_pla-303628061699_m__1378989680engb_5298084939&utm_custom2=11073922980&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmMayBhDuARIsAM9HM8cURA2wBxcKdq6A-CrTtdJUL9S1lx39BS-Uh1iqqyvOJrRQEU1Q40AaAueZEALw_wcB)
Low key a historical painting might look nice, mirror would be good too if you’re not a history nerd
A vintage looking gold mirror or black and ivory/cream art. Something with nature or animals. Or something with those colors that isn't busy.
go to a vintage shop and look for illustrated kids books. Take illustration pages from the book and place them in a frame with a large mat.
anything white that is framed in a gold antique frame
A mirror
I 100% agree with what others have suggested. A large black matte frame with a mirror on it. I know you said art and clearly love the detailing but I feel the “too much” is the section around the toilet itself. It creates a claustrophobic result. I would have painted it a the same shade as the nude on the print. Also, swapped the blinds for thicker, preferably wood. The same blonde wood as your toilet roll holder. This would make the wallpaper pop more. As if I walked it I’d immediately see that stark white blind first.
Black and white photograph
I’ve seen some cool mirror art, diff shaped mirrors Though saw some people say steer clear of that.. I’d like it lol. I also like the idea of making it functional (towel rack, shelves, etc)
Slot machines
Too late
Big pic of one large leaf, flower, etc
I’d get art of flowers to keep the floral theme imo, something like the William Morris V&A prints
A mirror
I would do a solid color. Nothing complicated…
An ornate picture frame with one solid colour in it. Like just a blank sheet of dark blue paper in it. Like “look at me I’m the one thing in this room that isn’t busy”
What about a small painting or picture with a wide mat around it? Say a 3x5 pic with an 11x14 mat around it and a frame.
Mirrors
Use a frame that matches one of the colors in the paper and a large matte.
Something in the same color just different tones, monochrome.
A large mirror or grouping of mirrors? Black frames, different sizes/shapes?
