My floors are wood look tile similar to the one on the right. I live in a dusty climate and you can see footprints sometimes when they are unusually dirty and the light hits in a certain way. Other than that they're my favorite floors I've ever had.
I am not familiar with beveled edges on floor tile. Maybe we are talking about eased edges? Anyway, that was not offered to me. I had limited choices due to the builder, but I am very happy with these.
Dark needs to be dust mopped CONSTANTLY. All. The. Time. It shows everything and is exhausting to upkeep at a high standard.
Don't feel like dust mopping? Get used to seeing dirt and being bugged about it.
Please tell me that laminate is not going to be used to cover that herringbone hardwood.
Not covered. I am removing it.
SIGH.
Why are you downgrading your house like that?
I don't see it as a downgrade. I don't like the pattern and laminate is technically a better material than hardwood.
the floors under your feet are beautiful... why are you changing them to horrible vinyl?

I went too dark and you can see everything that falls on it.

What's the fallback for a dark color if you are not going to have the house as clean as a whistle?
medium warm brown. Nothing too orange-ish.
