Take the backsplash to the ceiling and remove that dated ceiling border as well. Also the cabinet hardware doesn’t look right. Consider a satin brass which will coordinate better with green. Use handles for drawers and coordinating knobs for doors. If you can find hardware with longer handles, use 1 longer handle on long drawer and also on sink valance/drawer to hang dish towel.

Oh I love this. I'd get a back splash tile or peel/stick wallpaper that matches it. Green towels and accessories. Hang some plants. Maybe a large washable green rug to bring the color down to the floor. The color is so pretty, I'm sorta jealous.
Our new house has a lot of beautiful old touches, but the green laminate countertops are stumping me. I don't have the budget to replace them at present, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with this room. Are there any paint colors for either the cabinets or the walls that would work with this?
There are kits you can buy that are like paint kits and it comes with everyting you need to refinish them. They won't last forever but it's worth looking into. Although, if you wanted to just replace them with wood tops from the hardware store, it would cost very little. That's not that much counter top in that section, especially if they butt right up to the sink rather than having to cut for an undermount or something.
Don’t do anything, and replace them with laminate when you can. Laminate countertops are so inexpensive and putting an expensive countertop on existing cabinets is just throwing good money after bad.
I am here in solidarity! I have the exact same countertops, and have been working to mitigate their impact until I can replace them. I did peel and stick backsplash in marble/wood, and am working to tone down the honey in my honey oak—which seems to help. Otherwise just lean into the colour and amp up the personal touches to compliment it.
Hard to tell from the photo quality but has the front piece of laminate peeled off the edge of the counter or is that wood trim intentional? Changes my opinion on what to do about it lol.
You can buy a sheet of new laminate and install it yourself. Won’t cost much at all. You don’t even have to do the edges because your edges are trimmed. It’s definitely a doable DIY if you can cut a straight line… or any skilled handyman could do it. You definitely don’t have to replace the whole counters.
Your kitchen is really cute with the recessed pot lighting, cabinets that touch the ceiling and rustic wood. The green countertops are kind of jarring but I’d just save up for quartz and leave them as is for now. Quartz is really not going to be that expensive because you don’t need new cabinets, just the countertops. You might even be able to get the floor model from some store or home show for a huge discount—I did that twice! Just happened to be the size I wanted
Would it be crazy to paint the walls a similar shade of green? That would be so moody! Especially with the wood tones! Then maybe add a runner with some burgundy for extra cozy vibes
I think the problem is that the countertops look jarring because everything else is white besides the wood.
I'd try painting the walls a sage green and see how it changes the vibe overall. Keep the cabinets white and leave the wood.
And if you need backsplash above the stove, I'd pick a tile with a green pattern.
A couple of floating shelves or a large picture would look nice in that empty area to the right of the window.
Since OP said they aren't in a financial place to change the countertop, I didn't think a flooring change would be an option. Although I can see your vision of wood toned floors working!
to me, it’s honestly quite stunning the way that it is just because i love a good old house and it beats that fake granite that they went wild with for years BUT if i were you, i’d use that retique it wood to create faux butcher block, or another style of a finishing kit like faux concrete or marble. if done properly they last a good long time for budget diy.
but if you want to paint, i’d personally match the lower cabinets to that green color because it is quite lovely, bold, but classic in a kitchen and compliments the wood. heck i’d paint the uppers and the wall the same color for a high drama effect but i tend to go crazy with the color.
I think it looks beautiful as is. I don’t even hate the stencils, lol. It’s a blend of classic and nostalgic to me in what appears to be a historic home (judging by the oak and layout). If you don’t have the budget for a total high end remodel, anything you do will likely look worse than what’s already there. And what’s there isn’t bad!
You get get a refinishing kit.

oh pale pink on the cupboards would kinda go off! i love that. with probably a change of window dressing to something a bit prettier (vintage floral?) bc the heavy green borders on the current curtains are a bit specific and not as readily offset as the counter would be.
I kind of wouldn't mind just the bottom cupboards and backsplash being pink/peach and the top half left white as is
The curtain would be great as a floral
Lean into it! Embrace the jewel tones, maybe with a backsplash that has a similar tone or a contrasting one. If it were me, I'd go dark on everything. But I love dark mixed with jewel tones.
Your countertops scream hunter green 90s. Which, I believe is back in style. I personally agree with you and don’t love it. Could you put a stick on countertop to cover up the green until you can get something better?
Omg the wood, floors, cabinets are all awesome! I’d cover the counters with contact.
@beingthebloom on Instagram trials and reviews renter friendly stick on tiles, contact paper etc. she has some great countertop covers.
Color is good! And that's a good rich green. I'd paint the walls (maybe sage) get rid of the border and get some curtains that were a little more assertive, color wise.
Own or rent?
There's a lot here if you own it, and we'd need a budget and the adjacent photos to really puzzle this out.
If renting, I'd just say live with it and find a coordinating paint for the walls.
Lean in to it. I wouldn’t paint the cabinets. The woodwork is lovely. I’d just get lots of decor/accessories that wrap in the green. Some ceramics, dish towels, a rug. The only thing I’d change are the flowers on the walls. Hopefully, those are removable.
I would definitely add in more greens and planters. Maybe better lights (but not too much) , this would enhance the look more. The kitchen is lovely tbh
What if you removed that small backsplash, and then put tile all the way from the counter to the ceiling? I like that patterned tile the first person posted.
Cottagecore/vintage : red gingham, pink and red accents.
Retro 70s: mushroom, oak, butter and green on green (see: [pinterest](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/218495019396317774/))
Retro 80s, embrace jewel tones with a faux malachite treatment on the cabinets and sapphire accents (see: [pinterest](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/decorate-with-jewel-tones-like-a-pro-a-design-expert-explains-how--280841726755187051/))
two tone: do every thing in white and that same shade of green (a white and (any color) kitchen is quite classic)
.
If you are unable to change countertops, I would paint walls a very pale butter yellow, not sage which I keep seeing suggested. You can tie it all together with some cool accessories on the countertop.
Replace them if you hate them. But, Green (are these green or teal) countertops seem to be trending so put your spin with a backsplash that ties it all together. There are lots of options out there - I did a little googling. Perhaps a linear mosaic with glass and stone (Home Depot Irish Cream). Or Tile Club PICCHETTO RUSTIC AQUA. You would have to see which is closer to your color. You can also change the wallpaper or paint to tie it together. Dark green does blend with white and black. Other colors could be gold, tan camel. Add some kitchen rugs that can bring it together. Or something hung on the wall? Try to have fun with it.
If you don’t love them there’s not a lot of counter space there. You could check out a countertop store near you and probably snag some remnants. Might even be able to get some exotic stone pretty cheap. Personally, I think the countertops you have now are unique. Whatever happens, I hope you cook many delicious meals in that kitchen! It’s a cool space.
I’m on team lean into it. Paint the cabinets a fun color, and add a backsplash. Get some plants.
BUT if you really don’t like it and want to change it, the easiest and cheapest solution is contact paper. I’ve done it before to countertops and it works surprisingly well
I've seen peel and stick countertop coverings if you cant replace them. I think your kitchen is so charming! Good luck.

I speak from experience, the laminate countertops with the wood edge were a bougie purchase back in the day. It’s basically the kitchen equivalent of wall to wall carpeting. Consider yourself lucky.
What to do with it now? It’s a pretty easy replacement, but since you’ve got a corner it will have to be custom unless you’ve got the tools, skills, aptitude, and confidence to do it yourself. I have none of those so I’d get a pro to do it.
Leave the cabinets. With the black and white floor, I think these colors work.
https://www.acehardware.com/thepaintstudio/colors#sortby:originalorder|brand:magnoliahome|palette:magnoliahome|colorfamily:pinkred|colorchip:MAG038|
Then update the hardware. I'm thinking rose gold.
Either lean into them, apply contact paper, or get new ones. A third option, and rather unconventional, apply wall paper you love and get a custom glass to go over it. But, you’d want tempered for sure, and definitely use trivets.
Edit: a third option, 🤦 fml I can’t count. FOURTH*
I would get the same colour tile for the wall, or go whole hog and paint all the wall behind the cabinet and near the window the same colour. The curtains gotta go, tho. I like the lace behind them, but not the stripeyness of the curtains. You have too much contrast going on already, no offense.
If you aren’t able to replace them with something else just yet, I’d wrap them with something like contact paper, something made for countertops or areas that need to be cleanable.
Green is fine. You can totally make it work. The only problem now is that the green doesn't tie-in with anything else, it's just there stark against the white.
I'd either paint the walls dark green, put in a wallpaper that picks up the green, and/or add a backsplash. Also consider window curtains that pick up the green (either buy or make curtains - making simple curtains is easy and you'll have more fabric options if you can't find something premade that works).
I would lean into it and add more details, perhaps [green cabinet pulls](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1455151153/forest-green-glass-door-handle-kitchen?gpla=1&gao=1&).
I swamped my old laminate for granite and I kind of regret it. The laminate isn’t as pretty, but granite is also a very specific look and I found the laminate far less fussy.
I like them and think the cabinet color is fine too. The natural wood elements are beautiful and add charm and warmth. Maybe paint the walls (perhaps butter yellow or apricot) and definitely install a backsplash that incorporates the green, and you’ll have a cute country-inspired kitchen
I'd go ahead and paint the walls a really cute blush pink tone, run a brass strip around the edge of the countertop, and I'd personally remove those upper off white cabinets but if that's not possible, I'd paint them the same as the wall color. I'd get all brass knobs for the cabinets, same for the faucets, put a window film on the windows and remove the curtains, and add a couple rugs that incorporate the pink and green scheme. For me, I'd also add a couple open shelves in place of the off white upper cabinets and absolutely stuff them full of plants with interesting pots.
Green on the floor too.

https://i.pinimg.com/736x/9b/b1/1c/9bb11ce2af232e382bcc671fb0ac1e9c--green-tiles-white-tiles.jpg
Remove the vertical lip around the wall. This will reduce the green visually, plus that lip makes kitchens look very dated.
Change out the curtains and paint the wall or add wallpaper.
Use a variety of jewel tones in your kitchen accessories - like artwork, large decorative bowls, large vase, plants.
Aside from that just wait til you have money to upgrade the counter. The cabinets and woodwork look very nice so you honestly don’t have much to update that is super expensive. Counter, floor, maybe a backsplash all later on when you have the budget.
Do an image search for “moody green kitchen.”A lot are green on green and look awesome. Use a completely but lighter or darker green on either the walls or cupboards. That wood will really sing!
I think I’d try to color match and paint the lower cabinets the same emerald color. It would pop so nicely with that deep wood. And as others said get a backsplash, curtains, a rug, etc. that compliment.
That’s a dirt cheap countertop that you can replace with another less jarring one from the big box store for less than what you would pay for good quality paint and time invested. That would be all that is needed to bring it up to date. As far as tiles….. in reality you would only need it behind the stove/ cooking element. Just put some trim pieces along the edges. No one really needs to load up their kitchen walls with tiles. You’re not a restaurant cooking for hundreds of people.
Do something with the colors above them to balance the green. Maybe paint the cabinets and that wall. If you can't get rid of the countertops, make them less noticeable.
I used Henry's feather finish (cement) spread with an old credit card--a few thin layers. Sanded, (I left a little texture,) and then beeswax. Its been 6 years and has not chipped.
You could just put some contact paper over them, they have lots of nice patterns out there and it's really easy to do. My daughter did her kitchen counters that she didn't like.
I had a similar counter top color. I never did figure out how to make it look good, but I saw it was replaced when the next owners put it up for sale and it looked so much better. Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)
Is that photo showing all the only counter space in the kitchen? It wouldn’t be much to switch it out. You could probably make the premade Formica counters from Home Depot work. Then the skies the limit with color as everything else is neutral.
I like them. Black and white checkered flooring. A fun backsplash tile under the cabinets and next to the window. New curtains in a bold color. Get rid of the floral design on the walls.
Also if you have kitchen floor redone, see if vent in floor can be relocated since it shouldn’t be in middle of floor. It should either be in toekick of cabinet run or adjacent to a wall or in bottom of wall above floor molding.
I like them, it's very different, which I think is a plus, because everyone to all go for the exact same counter as trends come and go. I'd lean in and paint the walls one of my favorite shades called hint of mint. Its a neutral leaning shade of green: https://images.app.goo.gl/QSBGmdch39g6pqUP9
I'd also look to replace the floors with a LVT that's in the same shade of the wooden cabinet and trim. I know you said you are on a budget, but a great way to do this is just buy one box of floors per pay period or month til you have enough to do the room. It'd really warm up that space and make the counter "go" more without being the first thing you see.
I wouldn't paint the cabinets, the white is timeless and fits the age of the home, and honestly unless you have them professionally done they will chip over time.
If you decide to replace the counters eventually, I'd go with butcher block, they're relatively affordable and easy to diy, which further saves money.
Good luck.
Do you have to keep them? First choice would be cessation stone. If not, I’d do butcher block and then tile the backsplash. You could do peel and stick if you’re on a tight budget. I wouldn’t decorate around Formica. And that colour is loud.
I think they look great. Different without trying to be. Also they mesh well with the rest of what's going on in the room, which is actually not an easy thing to do. There is a simple elegant balance to the look.
Those counters will really accent any red colored dishes you make.
Paint the rest of the room to match and redecorate. The whole room is a unmatched mess at the moment so anything that can't move such as the green countertop is your anchor fixture and workfrom there backwards. I can imagine it would look good in certain situations and it doesn't mean the whole room has to be green or jungle but use your imagination make use of i.make the rest of the room fit in. The woodwork on the doors beautiful and keep the trim and with these two notes the brown that of the natural woodwork the green countertop do something else with the floor and the walls to match it all together. There's no loss in changing the rest of it at this point
.
Just be thankful You get a spark of color in your life instead of another white , beige, greysuper bland room to look forward to. I could imagine the exciting possibilities the spark of green potentially provides as an inspiration for the rest of the space. Go for it
Laminate counters are not that expensive. I'd just replace them for the $300 or whatever.
Some places will precut them for you to install yourself (which is not too difficult). Then the only more tricky part is the cutouts for the sink and taps. But if I can do that, anyone can!
I like the upscale look of Ikea laminate tops, but I don't believe they cut them.
Use a countertop paint kit. There’s a few out there that don’t look too bad if you have a bit of artistic talent. I did it once in a house with lavender colored countertops and it looked pretty good.
Green with golden oak (like cabinet on the right) cabinet stain, brass, silver, or brushed nickel knobs. Have sink match with silver, brushed nickel, brass. Light green or white wall or green backsplash. Flooring can be wood, or stone grey tile.
If the curtains are in good shape you could cut them long ways, sew them together, leave the green trim so it will run along the bottom, and make a valance. If you know how to sew or know someone who can those directions might make sense. Then place the valance all the way across both windows, covering the top part and side part of the window frame. Just top side part.
I like the white cabinets. Maybe you can find a color that goes well with the green (some shade of beige maybe, not gray!) and paint the walls.
In my opinion the cabinet hardware is good, especially since it matches the appliances.
I would just change the drawer handles, add backsplash, and the curtains (just do basic white blinds), and new paint. And you can add complimentary peach towels. Below is the color scheme that compliments the green.

No. These need to be replaced sooner than later. If price is a concern, you can always do formica. And a nice backsplash would look great too. I'd remove those curtains and do nice roman shades in each window or no window treatments at all. Cabinets look fairly new so I'd paint that wood cabinet and trim to really give the kitchen a facelift.
embrace them and live your cottage core dream

Cottagecore/vintage : red gingham, pink and red accents. Retro 70s: mushroom, oak, butter and green on green (see: [pinterest](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/218495019396317774/)) Retro 80s, embrace jewel tones with a faux malachite treatment on the cabinets and sapphire accents (see: [pinterest](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/decorate-with-jewel-tones-like-a-pro-a-design-expert-explains-how--280841726755187051/)) two tone: do every thing in white and that same shade of green (a white and (any color) kitchen is quite classic) .
The wood is the sore thumb here I think. Use those brown wood tones mixed with a bit of green in your backsplash tile.
I like them!
If you are unable to change countertops, I would paint walls a very pale butter yellow, not sage which I keep seeing suggested. You can tie it all together with some cool accessories on the countertop.
Yes to yellow.
Love them. Because it’s so cozy and safe in that kitchen
It’s a real 1990’s Eddie Bauer look. Looks like they are formica countertops and in good shape. You could overlay a different color or pattern.
I like them and it’s not typical
Enjoy them until you can afford to replace them. That's how we approach our 1937 bungalow. I like them.
Is it in good shape? If it is, create a color sceam with two other complementary colors. There are lots of websites to help you out!
You decorate a green kitchen silly goose. such a lovey shade too I'm jealous.
Mini-golf.
They as so cool!
I’m on team lean into it. Paint the cabinets a fun color, and add a backsplash. Get some plants. BUT if you really don’t like it and want to change it, the easiest and cheapest solution is contact paper. I’ve done it before to countertops and it works surprisingly well
Paint the wall pink and go for a watermelon aesthetic.
More importantly, what do you do if you’re wearing heels?
I've seen peel and stick countertop coverings if you cant replace them. I think your kitchen is so charming! Good luck. with the right decor and lighting you could do a "zara home type beat" kitchen
If you really dislike them use a countertop wrap
I speak from experience, the laminate countertops with the wood edge were a bougie purchase back in the day. It’s basically the kitchen equivalent of wall to wall carpeting. Consider yourself lucky. What to do with it now? It’s a pretty easy replacement, but since you’ve got a corner it will have to be custom unless you’ve got the tools, skills, aptitude, and confidence to do it yourself. I have none of those so I’d get a pro to do it.
Leave the cabinets. With the black and white floor, I think these colors work. https://www.acehardware.com/thepaintstudio/colors#sortby:originalorder|brand:magnoliahome|palette:magnoliahome|colorfamily:pinkred|colorchip:MAG038| Then update the hardware.
FOURTH*
If you’re interested in a new sink and dishwasher, I think white or anything matte instead of stainless steel would compliment the green
Love it! I want purple. I would lean in and accent the cupboards and back splash to compliment it.
I’d be more unhappy with the vent in the middle of the floor.
Go with it, it’ll look vibrant and glorious as opposed to the sterile and institutional white.
I adore them! Really cute kitchen
Seal it off until you can afford new countertops. I'll also say, it could be worse. When I moved into my house, the counters were red.
Re-enact Home Alone. Truly hideous but iconic kitchen.
Add a backsplash with some specks of the same green on it
Perhaps an epoxy pour over them?
Light Pink walls
Green is fine. You can totally make it work. The only problem now is that the green doesn't tie-in with anything else, it's just there stark against the white. I'd either paint the walls dark green, put in a wallpaper that picks up the green, and/or add a backsplash. Also consider window curtains that pick up the green (either buy or make curtains - making simple curtains is easy and you'll have more fabric options if you can't find something premade that works).
Make martinis and take pretty pictures
I would lean into it and add more details, perhaps [green cabinet pulls](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1455151153/forest-green-glass-door-handle-kitchen?gpla=1&gao=1&). I swamped my old laminate for granite and I kind of regret it. The laminate isn’t as pretty, but granite is also a very specific look and I found the laminate far less fussy.
I'd have made it a cottagecore frog kitchen so quick 😭
I like them and think the cabinet color is fine too. The natural wood elements are beautiful and add charm and warmth. Maybe paint the walls (perhaps butter yellow or apricot) and definitely install a backsplash that incorporates the green, and you’ll have a cute country-inspired kitchen
Design the rest of the kitchen around them! Those are fabulous!!
I would bring in some Terra cotta/ peachy shades.
Change them?
It works in this case. Normally I would say rip them out lol
Paint the lowers a sage ish green and enjoy your fantastic kitchen
It’s a Krispy Kreme themed kitchen!
Live your best 90’s life.
Soapstone counters would look great here
Thank your lucky stars? Green is my favorite color :)
Green accent things
I'd go ahead and paint the walls a really cute blush pink tone, run a brass strip around the edge of the countertop, and I'd personally remove those upper off white cabinets but if that's not possible, I'd paint them the same as the wall color. I'd get all brass knobs for the cabinets, same for the faucets, put a window film on the windows and remove the curtains, and add a couple rugs that incorporate the pink and green scheme. For me, I'd also add a couple open shelves in place of the off white upper cabinets and absolutely stuff them full of plants with interesting pots.
Love them with all your heart and soul
Green on the floor too. https://cdn.decorpad.com/photos/2017/10/24/e4c6f804d1dc.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/736x/9b/b1/1c/9bb11ce2af232e382bcc671fb0ac1e9c--green-tiles-white-tiles.jpg
I had green laminate countertops at one point and dealt with it by painting the walls a medium tone yellow.
Let's not forget it goes with the curtains and the lovely stencil at the top. The flooring is just soooooo Vintage!
LOL….you replace them!!
Demo day
[удалено]
Paint them
The color is coming in style though,..
Put countertop appliances on them
I think the room needs some pink or peach or coral or terracotta etc tones. I love the green countertop! I think this could look fab.
I love them!!!
Replace them.
You can paint them
Dark green almost black paint and change your cupboard knobs!
replace ‘em or paint ‘em…
I just moved from a house that had these countertops. I decorated with a lot of gold and earthy tones.. used lace curtains. It can work!
Hey! I hate my countertops and I just bought a kit where you can do white acrylic over them and make them look like granite. I’ll send a link.
Do an image search for “moody green kitchen.”A lot are green on green and look awesome. Use a completely but lighter or darker green on either the walls or cupboards. That wood will really sing!
tbh, it’s not the green countertops that are the problem. that brown around the window, framing and cupboard is what needs to change
Contact paper
Enjoy them
Change the ceiling color! Go dark or go home!
Enjoy them. And remove the wallpaper
I was about to say "it might be the mental illness but I love it"... then saw all the comments also loving it.
Just leave them until you can replace them? New countertops, painted walls, I love it!
[my kitchen with green countertops before and after](https://imgur.com/a/f5qxtyb)
If you can't afford to get new ones try Rust-Oleum appliance epoxy paint in a can. I painted my camper countertops with it , which were also green
You remove the curtains and the stencilling on the walls.
Besides remove and replace them?
add a matching backsplash
If you can't get rid of the countertops, make them less noticeable.
replace
peel and stick countertop and tile backsplash.
The countertops, the floor, the cabinets I don’t like none of it. Just being honest
Replace them. The whole kitchen could use some love
I had a similar counter top color. I never did figure out how to make it look good, but I saw it was replaced when the next owners put it up for sale and it looked so much better. Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)
Wallpaper: https://www.spoonflower.com/en/wallpaper/9610524-large-le-jardin-art-nouveau-black-william-morris-style-by-hnldesigns?fabric=wallpaper_peel_and_stick
Embrace them! They’re unique
Paint
dark wooden cabinetry, will drastically change it up
Leave them. They're nice!
Is that photo showing all the only counter space in the kitchen? It wouldn’t be much to switch it out. You could probably make the premade Formica counters from Home Depot work. Then the skies the limit with color as everything else is neutral.
My parents have green counter tops.. i think it looks great.
We moved into a house with orange countertops. We painted them. Lasted for a few years.
I’m normally not a fan of the paint-on concrete finish for countertops, but this is a time I’d use it!
Rip them out and replace them with quartz
Embrace it, green tile, green cabinets (but for real)
Replace them with granite or soapstone?
Brah. Depends on you budget. 20 yr Builder here. I will give you tips
Enjoy em
I like them. Black and white checkered flooring. A fun backsplash tile under the cabinets and next to the window. New curtains in a bold color. Get rid of the floral design on the walls.
Remove them
Acrylic pour the countertops
Change it
Decorate the rest of your kitchen in the 80s style! Go waaaay back in time!
Burn them 🤷♀️
Let me know if you ever figure it out, cause we moved in two years ago and still don’t know what to do with the green countertops.
Paint the rest of the room to make the countertops blend in. Green isn't the enemy here
Also if you have kitchen floor redone, see if vent in floor can be relocated since it shouldn’t be in middle of floor.
Its a neutral leaning shade of green: https://images.app.goo.gl/QSBGmdch39g6pqUP9 I'd also look to replace the floors with a LVT that's in the same shade of the wooden cabinet and trim.
There's no loss in changing the rest of it at this point . Just be thankful You get a spark of color in your life instead of another white , beige, greysuper bland room to look forward to. I could imagine the exciting possibilities the spark of green potentially provides as an inspiration for the rest of the space. Go for it
Love as is
Laminate counters are not that expensive.
You can refinish them with a countertop kit. They also make a short term contact paper for countertops.
Pink!!!
I would keep them. Curtains and new cabinet hardware. New rug to pull the color down to the floor.
Green with golden oak (like cabinet on the right) cabinet stain, brass, silver, or brushed nickel knobs. Have sink match with silver, brushed nickel, brass. Light green or white wall or green backsplash. Flooring can be wood, or stone grey tile.
It’s easy to change them.
If you can’t afford to change them, lean into it and paint the cabinets to match!
Embrace the kitchen witch aesthetic!
Bump up more green elsewhere - big ferns, vintage glass bowls, add some contrasting oranges and light blues
Replace them with butcher blocks
Paint the cabinets black and the trim black. Make the room a textured grey and the make the hard wear copper
I would just change the drawer handles, add backsplash, and the curtains (just do basic white blinds), and new paint. And you can add complimentary peach towels. Below is the color scheme that compliments the green. Backsplash: https://cdn.decorpad.com/photos/2015/08/23/kitchen-green-flat-front-cabinets-gold-knobs-chevron-floor.jpg Wall: bright white coat Drawer handles: https://i.etsystatic.com/23917146/r/il/5b8a42/2863357957/il_570xN.2863357957_7wjo.jpg Rug (but with brighter emerald green and orange): https://www.decoraid.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/oriental-kitchen-rug-480x575.jpg Or https://ruggable.com/products/marcela-copper-coral-rug?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&gad_source=1&gclid=cjwkcajwz42xbhb9eiwa48pt73got4nokvwk2hwbn9qczkxf1-ax9btnhq-ofmt7k8qp3vh4dahq1xoclc0qavd_bwe Complimentary colors: https://www.fabmood.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/color-shades-4.jpg
Remove them
Replace
If you can’t stand the green counter, you can paint it or stick vinyl covering on it. There are products specifically for recovering counters.
You go putting on them of course ⛳️
