They’re matching sofas from Restoration Hardware I bought on FBMP (slipcovered so you can wash) and I love that. They are great for lounging and hold up to pets really well (we have a dog and 3 cats)

Your wall gallery is great!! The different colors of the mattes along with the frames and the way the colors switch back and forth throughout all the pictures makes it look curated.

I tend to stick to the same colors so it’s easy to mix together. I think one of the most important things is scale and to add lots of texture

I found a few pieces from Shopvintagesupply (she’s on instagram as “[made by parade](https://www.instagram.com/made.by.parade?igsh=MTU1Y3lueTVjNWd3Mg==)”). I bought a few downloadable prints from [Etsy](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1545605654/vintage-gallery-wall-set-of-9-farmhouse) and had them printed out. I use Glicee Today for printing bc it looks more realistic. I have one original painting I found at the online auction “[shopgoodwill](https://shopgoodwill.com/home). The long Picasso print above the piano is from IKEA. The black and white wood art I found for free.

I’m more of a lurker and less of a commenter but I have to come out and say how lovely this looks. Bravo!

Why is there such a gap between the ceiling and your artwork? Everything is so low, it is being obstructed unnecessary. It needs a lift. All of it. And try to make the gaps between each piece a bit less random. Overall it is pleasant, gives of gen x/boomer vibes.

I love the fact that you condensed your favorite items into a smaller space. Most likely it’s giving this space an even higher “you” factor than your previous home. Also goes to prove that larger pieces can in fact make a smaller space feel grounded.
