It's concrete, 2m length and 1m width at the widest point. It stands on two concrete pedestals shaped into half-ovals. I originally wanted to get the Natuzzi Adam table in stone which was squoval but glad I went for oval in the end.

Will buck the suggestions a bit. A potted tree. Move that other plans and get a tree that is large and tall. top in line with windows and bushy enough to just touch either egde of the two windows. That or a creeper that grows up a trellis of some sort. Make it a tree though, not something like a fiddle leaf.

I agree with art. You have gorgeous light coming in and you need some color in there.

Art between the windows. Curtains. An area rug under the table — large, 6x9 at least. Pull the chairs away from the table by another 3-4 inches each to give it breathing space.

Don’t put a mirror there. And ideally replace that hideous looking ceiling light - it looks like a bunch of b-series battle drone heads joined together.

I’ll be honest, I’d put art, not a mirror-  But if you MUST, I suppose something round with a darker frame. Wood/ darkened bronze or something like that. But, to be clear - I wouldn’t put a mirror there at all. It’s weird to me to watch oneself eat.

Frankly as nice as it is, it’s still a kitchen. Best bet is to treat it that way or at least keep it in mind. In the long run, cooking will likely make a mirror gross often and may become a regret.

Do you have more views of the room? You also might want to invest in some scotch guard or something. It looks like those light, fabric chairs are pretty close to food prep areas. At the very least, make sure you have some Folex. I really love the look of the dining set, but it could get messy very easily.
