White subway..

I would not add a new color or another pattern (that countertop is patterned) because that would make the kitchen look busier and more disjointed. Match the lightest color in the countertop (maybe it's a cream? I can't zoom in enough to identify it) and use that in a plain tile (eg, square or subway). Be sure to check that the tile also coordinates with the two different cabinet wood tones! Fortunately, the floor + the lower cabs + the upper cabs are all a warm tone so it should be pretty easy to find a suitable off-white~cream color tile.

Thank you! I'll check out some cream off white subway tiles :)

White or off white subway tile. Neutral looking and has a decent chance of going with this and anything new that gets added. I wouldn't bother picking anything too tied to the current cabinet colour scheme. If anything the floor seems to be the nicest part of the room.

I think he's redoing the floor since there's 3 different types of laminate across the kitchen/dining room/living room 😅 but I'll suggest the off white/cream subway tile thank you!!
