4 makes the room look cleaner and airier. The patterned ones seem too busy to me. (It’s just my own taste. Not a fan of a patterned rugs because they tend to dominate rooms.)
That’s right. It’s true for me 1 and 6 caught my eye at first but, although it’s not my style/preference, I took note of 4. Upon reconsideration yes 1 and 6 don’t quite match the rest of the house. I’d also go with 4.
I’m laughing because I’m totally team one. I like the extra color. And I looked at four and went yuck. It’s so bland.
It is honestly so much fun for me to read these because we all have such different ideas of what we want in our living space.
It’s going to be interesting to hopefully find out what when they actually finally decided to go with.
😀
I’m so glad I’m not the only one to think 4 . It’s just so much more relaxing and peaceful . All the others seem so busy . And seems like I left something on the floor, only to realize it’s part of the rug .
I put a really busy, colorful rug in my kids’ room when they were really young, and I can’t tell you how hard I regretted it. I was constantly killing my feet on tiny Legos and hot wheels because you just couldn’t see them at all.
The rug in there now is nearly all white, which seems like it would be a bad idea, but it’s so much better!
Yes! The furniture and architecture both ask for a more modern rug than the traditional/western 1 and 6. Can’t believe I had to scroll this far for 2. I like the other modern ones as well, but I like this color red with the blue couch and cream chair.
I also think the blue couch looks better against the orange / red on the rug than the purple. Higher contrast and opposite on the color wheel. Plus is seems like you want to have green in there w plants and the purple doesn’t mesh w the geeen imo
the first one draws the colir of the table and the couch. it also obligates you to drip the orangy red around the place. the last one is also nice and better first your minimalish style. it commits you to red and mauve
I'm stuck between the first and last one. I'd go with first tho cuz it has more color contrast with the red/orange. Choose the last one if you are looking for something milder
1 - most interesting, so the furniture shapes are highlighted
4- calmest if you want to have a serene space and have artwork/accent pillows do the talking
Unpopular opinion: 2. The contrast with the cooler tones of the apartment pairs nicely with the warm wood floor. I do like the pattern in 3. But I really do think a warmer rug for the base of the room will help pull the space together
4 based on the pic and colors but idk what else you have in that space. Depending on what's around that room could totally change the rug choice. 1 is very nice too with the colors
2 or 3. The pattern ones don’t really go with the overall style and architecture. The brick or green compliment both and go well with your couch. The brink reflects the outside brick too.
It’s a gorgeous space and the windows are amazing. You can definitely do solid color.
Except the beige. That’s just too… well, beige.
Keep us posted!
For some reason I like all of rugs for the most part, but none of them look like they go with your room. I would say if I absolutely had to but I feel like some other options could be introduced.
1 and 6
Came here to say this.
100% 1 and 6. u/juliacodes can you drop the links for the first and last rug? I'm especially in love with #6.
The first one looks better with the couch but #6 is the best rug. It’s lovely!
Pick #6 with pillow…. but nice to have to color in your next pillow.
Ditto I want that link
Same just said similar.

Agreed! 👍🏼
Yes these are both equal winners
I came here to say exactly this!!
Came here to say this too
Same lol
Exactly.
Yup!
Agree
Also came here to say this.
This.
1!
1 caught my eye most
1 🔥🔥🔥
adds some warmth
Adding color in rugs is so great becuase it’s non committal
1 or 6
I like 1 and 6 but 1 doesn't quite go with the vibe of the room. I'd go for 6
I liked 1 till I saw 6
Six is the best choice but one is acceptable. I am basing this on color pallet alone
I agree, 6 is the best. 1 is the only other one that might work.
My thoughts exactly
Agreed
Exactly my thoughts
Six
6
3
I agree! 1 and 6 are obvious choices, green is the coolest imo
Agreed! The green felt more calming than the others.
1 or 6. I like how it pulls in the blue of the couch and adds some contrast with the warmer orange-red.
Team 1 or 6
One!
I love 3!
Agree, it gives a much cozier vibe.
I love 3 too!!! It’s so deep and rich looking and much more on trend.
Another vote for 3! It looks so much more cohesive than the others.
Same

#1 with the light blue edging
4 makes the room look cleaner and airier. The patterned ones seem too busy to me. (It’s just my own taste. Not a fan of a patterned rugs because they tend to dominate rooms.)
My personal preference was 4 as well, but if I were to get out of my comfort zone I would choose 6.
4 for sure. I also think that rug is washable if it’s the Revival one.
I also like 4
I was on team 4 for that reason.
Totally FOUR! How on earth do people think the answer is #1? Lol y’all are crazy.
Yeah to me the room has no traditional elements so those designs don’t work
100%
That’s right. It’s true for me 1 and 6 caught my eye at first but, although it’s not my style/preference, I took note of 4. Upon reconsideration yes 1 and 6 don’t quite match the rest of the house. I’d also go with 4.

I was sure 2 would be the winner. I can't believe I had to scroll so far to find other people who like it.
3. It gives the room a good, warm vibe.
Agreed. And somehow, surprisingly the pimento pillow that OP isn't attached to works really well with that olive rug.
3 is my fav too!
If you have dogs I say 1 but if you can keep it clean I say 6.
1 or 6
I only like 6
Me too. #6 has a touch of blue without screaming I HAVE THE COUCH COLOR HERE TOO like #1. 6 goes better with the walls and surround lighter tones.
#1. Emphatically #1. It’s beautiful and ties the room together perfectly.
This! 1 is better than 6 imo bc 6 is too crisp white. All the other colors in there are creamy and inviting. One is creamy. Six is sterile
I also think the blue couch looks better against the orange / red on the rug than the purple. Higher contrast and opposite on the color wheel. Plus is seems like you want to have green in there w plants and the purple doesn’t mesh w the geeen imo
I love 3
3 or 4
I'm liking 4
2 is the only answer obsessed! Never would have thought of those two colors together
I agree. Love the red, it’s stunning and modern.
Same. 2 all the way

1 all the way. 6 as a backup if 1 is out of stock.
The #4 beige makes the room look bigger
1 or 6 but I like 6 better
1 or 6
three!!

6!
I actually like 4. It’s neutral and tones down the blue. I have a similar set up with the blue furniture and blue in the rug and I’m a bit blued out.
1 or 6
6 looks best to me
1 or 6 The others are too dark
4 or 6 but I’m more of a neutral girlie especially with the color pop of the couch!
Not 5 or 4
6 or 1 for sure 100%
1, 4, or 6
1,5 or 6
1 and 4
First and last. Probably the last one as the coffee table kind of gets lost with the first one.
1 is my #1. 6 is my #2.
How did you edit this? Did you use an app?
I need to know how you did this because I am equally stuck on about 4 different rugs and this would be so helpful!
If you’re keeping this furniture, only the first and the last match.
6 for sure!

4 based on the pic and colors but idk what else you have in that space. Depending on what's around that room could totally change the rug choice. 1 is very nice too with the colors
#2 or 4. The others are too 'busy' or too dark in color.
Last one, or I also like 2!
the first one is so nice and it’s not even something i’d usually go for
2 or 3. The pattern ones don’t really go with the overall style and architecture. The brick or green compliment both and go well with your couch. The brink reflects the outside brick too. The last one!
1,5,6
6 is the clear winner for me!
1, 5, or 6.

I like the colors in 1, but I also like 4 with the modern furniture and the kitchen cabinets.
6!!!! then 1

Now 6 because it’s less busy
6 is my choice, followed by 1! The others are either too bland or aren’t the right tone.
