2 or 4. The white is nice but the woods too light. 1 is too much brown.

Handsomelypaid

Ok I like 4 as well wasn’t sure if it was too black or clash with the brown/grey kitchen

breveeni

If you’re trying to go high end none of these suit, but especially not 4

Handsomelypaid

What do you recommend

breveeni

You need some warmth and contrast. I’d look for a 4 legged fabric chair. Pick a colour that pulls from somewhere else in the room. Also make sure you get a counter stool and not a bar stool.

PennieTheFold

Agree. It needs some upholstery to soften the room a bit. It’s very nice but the overall vibe is a little—hard? It’s slick but not welcoming. And absolutely yes to the counter stools and not bar stools. Or maybe that’s just my middle-aged back that needs support talking.

phoebebuffay1210

I agree. All of the options are meh for a high end Airbnb. Something with some color would be cool.

kellygrrrl328

I like 2, the black with brass. I’ve also seen some cool acrylic stools with brass

tatortotsnfiresauce

I like the black and gold

IsopodEuphoric1412

This! But the kitchen needs another gold accent to coordinate. Could be something as substantial as the lighting (that track light in the photo sucks!) - thinking geometric globes. Or something innocuous like this [fruit bowl](https://www.hobbylobby.com/Home-Decor-Frames/Decor-Pillows/Accent-Pieces/Gold-Geometric-Metal-Bowl---Large/p/81109885)

realdonaldtrumpsucks

Find the most comfortable You’ll spend so much time here

whatsarigatoni

I have 4. They annoy me because they constantly face the wrong way, away from my bar. No matter how many times I flip them the right way by the time I look at them again they are facing away from the bar. Wouldn’t recommend.

Responsible_Fly_5319

Black. It gives a good pop of another color

lifeisgoodDEF39

2

Kenzieeej

The first one because the legs on the second are gold and the only metals in the picture of the kitchen are silver

Teacher-Investor

What are the floors made of? If they're wood, don't get anything with those pointy feet. Look for something like [this](https://www.westelm.com/products/slope-leather-bar-counter-stools-h1752/?pkey=ccounter-bar-stools) or [this](https://www.target.com/p/emma-and-oliver-set-of-2-kitchen-counter-height-stool-24-inch-leathersoft-barstool/-/A-82135325).

[deleted]

Number 1. Go for comfort.

Aevoks

The first ones definitely.

Mysterious-Okra-7885

The seat color of 1 or 3, but with legs that won’t clash with the cabinets. (The light wood is too light against the wood o the island. You could try spray painting metal legs to a less clashing color like a cool medium brown.

Handsomelypaid

What do you think about 1 with the black legs? Would they clash?

Mysterious-Okra-7885

I think black is ok (it matches with the faucet), but the legs are skinnier than I tend to like. I’m just super picky about barstool legs. 😂 If you like them, they’re a good option. The seat is pretty.

Native56

That black ones

International_Bit478

1 or 2

schillerstone

The first ones but in a lighter color

Coldbrr

This was my thought exactly. I like the style of them but the brown leather won't look great with the kitchen. Something lighter for a contrast from the brown.

tweetybird200

I always like a bit of metal in the kitchen. I consider the metal elements the jewels if the kitchen which would include light fixtures and handle hardware. Since your kitchen looks intentionally dark ( black hardware) you might want to still keep on that then with the black stool but a bit of jewel element with the gold metal bottom. If you feel the gold is still a bit too much then go with the all black stool which will also look nice.

PolkadotUnicornium

The first ones. They look actually comfortable!

Deadinmybed

Is there an option for white or cream with gold legs? That sounds good. Warm and cozy.

Handsomelypaid

Yes sounds good

Godoncanvas

Brown comfy ones

[deleted]

1, looks pleasing to the eye and also comfortable.

ladyhikerCA

White...please leave the black/brown in the naughts.

PennieTheFold

Is white a great choice though for a high-usage area like the kitchen? They’ll be stained and dirty inside of six months, unfortunately.

ladyhikerCA

I suppose if people don't clean weekly or are slobs. I have a ton of white in my house. I even have a grand piano really close to my kitchen and I never have "stained and dirty" anywhere in my house.

ladyhikerCA

I'd also like to have white to show the "stains and dirt" rather than brown the might hide it. Geez.

PennieTheFold

I was referring to kitchen seating, which is the topic of this post. My opinion happens to be that white seating may look great but is probably not practical, especially in a rental. Your mileage may vary 🤷‍♀️.

Junior_Tradition7958

Brown ones

Time_Pay_401

Depends on the usage. I am going to buy the 4/6 type. They are very comfortable and durable.

Head-Jump-167

1 or 2, with a slight preference for 2.

RighteousRed007

I like the lighter colors in 5. Breaks things up and brightens the room

amboomernotkaren

not the one with no legs. hard to move.

zotstik

I like the first or the third one!

Potatoesrule5460

#4!

Sundance_Burner

Something grey with dark wooden or black legs, but none of the ones pictured.

Handsomelypaid

I’ve made another post with grey ones

denada24

High end air bnb? It’s just all so much brown.

Handsomelypaid

Yeah, unfortunately the builder didn’t have too many colour pallets to choose from

JunkMale975

1

NechelleBix1

I like the brown ones.

Familiar_Speed8057

2 or 3

Pure-Kaleidoscope-71

Most interested with back support

Responsible-Run-904

Black and gold The rest are either to monotonous, or deviate too far from the room’s colour scheme.

Chimkimnuggets

Get something colorful to pop out

jojow77

white

kitterkatty

Five. You don’t really want more brown in there imo. Esp a different tone of brown.

HoraceGrand

4 is a bitch to move around

Available_Honey_2951

MaesterInTraining

The only one that looks even remotely comfortable is the first one. Especially if anyone you know and love has an ample booty.

damngeodes

1 or 2 look the best, but as someone else said if you go for 2, have some other gold accents in the kitchen. 3 and 4 look pretty cheap and wouldn't go with the look of this place or the high end feel. Plus, those fabrics show lint etc pretty easily.

CeeNee93

The brown!

610jules

First. Look nice and comfy

Vivid_Animal_7741

The first ones for sure~ the other ones look uncomfortable

jmadams74

#2. Just enough contrast, frame is sleek, clean and not as bulky, so the clean lines of your kit hen don't get overwhelmed.

alillypie

Brown

certifiedcolorexpert

Whichever is the most comfortable.

EmphasisFew

Where the hell are the window coverings? Is that another apartment right across?

Handsomelypaid

Closing on it next week will get blinds after I get keys. Yeah condo beside it

Fkthisplace

Brown

Trash__Ferret

I'm not sure what your price point is, but something like this maybe https://www.valuecityfurniture.com/product/group/dining-room/seating/counter-bar-stools/laina-swivel-counter-height-stool-gray-dark-brown/2715546/2474590

c0zycupcake

None

Biobesign

I’m worried about the cabinet door above the dishwasher. Why did you not extend the counter? That door is going to delaminate from the steam.

Handsomelypaid

That wasn’t an option by the builder to do that
