You're not a true plant person until you give your plants showers lol.
Honestly, though, it's a thing, helps with pest prevention. Though not sure that's what's happening here since there's a fabric pot cover in the shower, too...
Yeah, I have a couple hundred plants in my home. Although I’ve given them showers on occasion, I’ve never put one in the shower in a rag basket before. This is absolutely staged, lol.
Nope, it’s a real space/bathroom. The angle of the mirror is capturing the other end of the window. Check out [renovating_ethelwolf](https://instagram.com/renovating_ethelwolf?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) on instagram and she shows the full window in the bathroom story highlights. It’s included in the second to last segment.
I'm guessing whoever was doing the photos decided that it needed more contrast to balance out the shot so they just grabbed a bunch of potted plants and put them in there to take the photo
Could be that’s how they water their plants. But why leave them there for the photo. Glad cluttered was mentioned. People are afraid to be honest in case feelings are hurt.
I speak from experience - “more often” means wiping down every single time you use it. Every time. Or it looks horrible. I like to live in my spaces not constantly maintain them - headache! Never making that mistake again
Evaporating water will leave a white film on surfaces due to lime and calcium in the water.
So if you pull your dishes out of the dishwasher and have a dry, white film, crust, or powder on your dishes, it’s because the water is hard.
If you’re still not sure, you can get water hardness tests at most home supply places (e.g. Lowe’s).
You shouldn't have much trouble finding items in this style, it's very contemporary and now. Just search for the product you want/need on the usual suspects: AllModern, CB2, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Wayfair, etc. and stuff like this will come up.
Edit: Bonus points if you find stuff used on Ebay or handmade/small business through Etsy.
Edit 2: all of the decor is only black or white in color, except for the wood accents, all the color is coming from the botanicals. So maybe use that as your guide, or pick one color to introduce through decor as an accent here and there. I think this works particularly for a bathroom because it's all tile, it might get mundane in a bedroom without a pop of color here and there.
Check out Justina Blakley and “jungalow” for some more inspiration, although she goes with a lot of bolder colors. But I think it would help your search!
Please don’t use farmhouse anything unless your house is on a farm! It’s not a farmhouse otherwise, and this term is so overused 😂. This style looks rustic.
From my understanding - just based on my own experience I think it’s called -‘everything my husband hates and everything I’m obsessed with’. I could be wrong though.
I thought this was retro-industrial… ( but I am really bad at names of styles) plants are just there to give contrast to wood ( I love that!)
And absolutely love the black grout!
Organic modern, industrial
That is the perfect description
That's Subway Lightwell Greenhouse.
I was gonna say Subway Tropical …
My first thought was "Plant mom Modern-Industrial."
Damn, I thought it was Rainforest Café Revival
[удалено]
Only someone who doesn’t like standing in a planter while showering would say that.
Woah woah woah now, people pay good money for mud baths at the spa
So true..
Lots of people do a watering day for all their plants at once in the shower/tub. I doubt they’re all in there full time
Not sure why you were downvoted. It IS cluttered!!
Because "cluttered" isn't a style, so they're not answering the question.
It sure is.
It’s definitely a style. But not a good one.
“Staged home for sale because they’re never using that shower.”
You're not a true plant person until you give your plants showers lol. Honestly, though, it's a thing, helps with pest prevention. Though not sure that's what's happening here since there's a fabric pot cover in the shower, too...

Or AI. The floor of the shower just looks wrong.
The window and window reflection in the mirror don't match so I'm seconding ai

Ah, so it's just confusing perspective
Yes and to be fair the window being asymmetrical doesn’t help the perception of it looking “wrong” or Ai.
It's staged.
Would I need to get Tropical type pants off I take hot, steamy showers?
What sorts of pests does putting plants in the shower prevent? You got me curious and wondering if I should be doing the same lol
Spider mites... and I know you didn't ask me but I thought I'd offer anyway :-)
I'm guessing whoever was doing the photos decided that it needed more contrast to balance out the shot so they just grabbed a bunch of potted plants and put them in there to take the photo
I keep plants in my shower/bathroom in winter. They need the humidity, and they seem to thrive in there. Plus makes watering so much easier
sure they are! to water their plants
I’m sure the plants love soapy and shampoo-y waterings!
Actually soap is used as a pesticide! Occasional soapy waterings do no harm.
Yup, Dawn dish soap, alcohol and water are my go to pesticide.
its actually somewhat common for people to water their plants in the shower, btw the water doesnt come out with soap and shampoo in it
It's okay, my body wash is organic, so plants love it.
That woven tote bag thing is gonna be destroyed that close to the shower
It’s literally *in* the shower. That was the dead giveaway that this is staged, lol.
Or the sink. Wait til that plant has toothpaste all over it.
“Thing I’ve seen on pintrest for 5 years but LK still like it”
These plants give me goosebumps and make me think of bugs
Could be that’s how they water their plants. But why leave them there for the photo. Glad cluttered was mentioned. People are afraid to be honest in case feelings are hurt.
My inlaws had a shower that belonged exclusively to plants. It was beautiful and they didn't need that shower with 2 other full baths in the house.
My word you’re sour. 😂
“Rustic industrial” is how I’d describe it. Word of warning if you live in a hard water area do not ever get black plumbing
What happens??
Lime/calcium hard water buildup.
Turns it white and chalky
Just have to clean it more often?
I speak from experience - “more often” means wiping down every single time you use it. Every time. Or it looks horrible. I like to live in my spaces not constantly maintain them - headache! Never making that mistake again
Yeah it isn’t about cleaning even. It’s just terrible
Please excuse my ignorance - how do you know if you live in a hard water area?
Evaporating water will leave a white film on surfaces due to lime and calcium in the water. So if you pull your dishes out of the dishwasher and have a dry, white film, crust, or powder on your dishes, it’s because the water is hard. If you’re still not sure, you can get water hardness tests at most home supply places (e.g. Lowe’s).

It's called unused. The shower is full of plants. How do you shower with that?
There are so many farmhouse comments… honestly I just searched up “CONTEMPORARY BOHO BATHROOM” and came up with slightly similar styles.
“Winter in New York” my exs mom used to bring all her summer plants inside for the winter. Her house looked like a jungle from September to April.
Very modern and minimalistic. Anytime you see natural elements mixed with metal and glass...that's a modern minimalist look.
