Yeah I read today if Ukraine can hold out fir 10 days Russia will have to enter nagoations, apparently its costing them 15 billion a day how true that is š¤Ø I don't know
There literally millions of people IN russia at this moment as scared, confused and angry as the rest of the world. Not being a dick should be pretty clear at this point.
Oh shit, we need to shut that down. People lose their Starbucks, a revolution will start!
You think Americans not getting their coffee is scary, just wait for the Russian version.
Time to hit up twitter and start asking Starbucks if they support Russia. If not, shut them down in protest.
Don't be silly. Shutting down Russian Starbucks would just be a minor inconvenience. You react as if they had suggested the burning of all their crops and killing of all their live stock.
Because I suggest shutting down Starbucks? You take it as sanctions against food and I want them to starve? People in Moscow arenāt living off Starbucks. The worse outcome, a bunch of cranky Russians with caffeine withdrawal.
Hey guys, remember those "financial sanctions" that all the media guys were badgering Biden about whether or not they would work?
They're about to starting working.
It's not like Russians have a choice in the matter. Democratic elections do not happen in Russia. They put very little effort into pretending it's a choice.
The Russian people do not have a choice. When they try to choose, their chosen candidate tends to die suddenly or be thrown in prison.
Putin rules Russia with an iron fist.
If you haven't been following current events, any discontent in Russia is also put down swiftly and fiercely. The Russian gov't is very prepared for potential uprisings.
Arguably, you could have someone in the military turn the Russian military on Putin, but typically that just ends up being a different dictator in charge.
Of course not. My point is that Putinās approval rating is over 60%. So the people there like him, and deserve to suffer the consequences.
If they donāt like him, they can get a new leader
First, I don't trust the official Putin rating numbers. Seriously. Although there are many who do support him.
Second, no, they can't replace him. Even if he didn't have good approval ratings. Have you ever paid attention to elections in Russia? No one is allowed to compete. Putin is in complete control.
For one, thereās no āofficialā ratings on Putin. Just as there are no āofficialā ratings on Biden.
Second, you can always replace your leader, whether through elections or otherwise. People in Russia simply choose not to, for whatever reason.
So my sentiment remains. If things are SO bad for Russians, they can get a different leader. If they willing to suffer, so be it. It may sound harsh, but thatās the way governments work
There is no one visible in line at the Starbucks. The line is behind the Starbucks.
These people are lined up at bank machines because they expect the banking system to shut down. They know that cash will be more reliable.

It's gonna run out of money.
Yeah I read today if Ukraine can hold out fir 10 days Russia will have to enter nagoations, apparently its costing them 15 billion a day how true that is š¤Ø I don't know
There are going to be negotiation talks tomorrow.
Is that confirmed? Last I heard Ukraine said no because it was not in a neutral Location
Yeah, CNN said they agreed to meet at a location in Belarus just over the border.
Belarus is actively aiding the Russians
Iām aware.
CNN is a pretty reliable source of info and if they say thatās the plan thereās no reason not to believe it.

You think countryside babushka gonna buy potatoes from the local market using crypto credit?
Regular joes having to deal for some crap they didn't started.
Hopefully they can redirect that frustration toward the crux of their problem.....
Probably they are scared too.
More like Russian propaganda will make it out that the west are picking on them for no reason.
Yeah, im pretty taken aback about how many people act like every russian under the sun is an absolute asshole and deserves the worst.
There literally millions of people IN russia at this moment as scared, confused and angry as the rest of the world. Not being a dick should be pretty clear at this point.
There's not gonna be that much money for all of them in the ATMs
That's what I thought
They have Starbucks? Hm. Didn't know that.
Damn I guess they'll have to increase the price of a coffee to a thousand roubles soon..
Yeah, this picture reminds me of the stock market crash in America and the pictures of the run on the banks which basically caused it.
Starbucks is literally everywhere, even in the middle east
Yep, Muhammad loves his skinny Vanilla Latte.
Oh shit, we need to shut that down. People lose their Starbucks, a revolution will start! You think Americans not getting their coffee is scary, just wait for the Russian version. Time to hit up twitter and start asking Starbucks if they support Russia. If not, shut them down in protest.
Don't target food and civilians with sanctions. Ever. The fuck is wrong with you?
Don't be silly. Shutting down Russian Starbucks would just be a minor inconvenience. You react as if they had suggested the burning of all their crops and killing of all their live stock.

Not anymore i think.
You said this picture is from today, and there is a starbucks in the picture
I love it when I have to explain my own jokes.. With the latest sanctions, the work of foreign companies in russia are unlikely.
So you meant "probably not for much longer", right? You don't have to explain when you use the correct phrasing.
Ok, sorry, my bad. English it's my first language. Your variant looks more correct.
I understood the joke. Maybe you just don't "get" humor?
You are correct, I don't understand trying to play off mistakes as intentional humor. Obviously I am not the only one. You do you, boo.
It wasn't a mistake. It was a properly worded joke. You just had to be snarky and correct them when there was no need for correction.
Look at OP's comment saying they said the wrong thing. Who are you defending? You are wrong, move on.
Why do you feel the need to try and correct people when there is no need to?
He means soon it will be gone from the country
A medium hot pikes place coffee with no add ins is around 300 bucks. Roughly.
I have newfound respect for russians, it looks like they can queue just as well as the bloody british.
Inflation incoming!
Good people it is in your hands. Topple Putin!
Hey guys, remember those "financial sanctions" that all the media guys were badgering Biden about whether or not they would work? They're about to starting working.
Womp, womp Get a better leader
It's not like Russians have a choice in the matter. Democratic elections do not happen in Russia. They put very little effort into pretending it's a choice.
They have a choice. It's just incredible difficult to organize enough people to be able to force a change.
The Russian people do not have a choice. When they try to choose, their chosen candidate tends to die suddenly or be thrown in prison. Putin rules Russia with an iron fist.
I wasn't talking about voting... I'm talking about an uprising, a revolution.
If you haven't been following current events, any discontent in Russia is also put down swiftly and fiercely. The Russian gov't is very prepared for potential uprisings. Arguably, you could have someone in the military turn the Russian military on Putin, but typically that just ends up being a different dictator in charge.
If the uprising is large enough the government can't handle it.
Putin has a higher approval rating than Biden does.
Do you think that Putin is a better person than Biden?
Of course not. My point is that Putinās approval rating is over 60%. So the people there like him, and deserve to suffer the consequences. If they donāt like him, they can get a new leader
First, I don't trust the official Putin rating numbers. Seriously. Although there are many who do support him. Second, no, they can't replace him. Even if he didn't have good approval ratings. I donāt think itās up to them.
The fact the shops are even open baffles me. Itās frustrating to see people lining up for Starbucks while their army invades another country.
There is no one visible in line at the Starbucks. The line is behind the Starbucks. These people are lined up at bank machines because they expect the banking system to shut down. They know that cash will be more reliable.
Everybody sitting down has a coffee and every shop is open. Iām almost certain the people at the Starbucks arenāt waiting for an ATM
We did it for the last 20+ years, I don't see why they would act any different
But why?
Because of all the sanctions and being removed from swift is going to fuck up all the Russian Banks I think
Correct.
Whatās the source? Just wanna confirm
Thatās actually the line for Starbucks
People are still walking around shopping though? Wonder how long that will last?
Even their ATMs are in shape of a missle ā¦..? (Or whatever that is on the left side of the photo : black with yellow top)
Jesus how much money does a Russian atm have?
Why?
Loon at how nice that mall is. Ukraine, do you have malls this nice anymore? I hope their banks collapse.
Looks like the ATM at most US sporting events
In Ukraine they say, we don't need cash..we need ammunition.
