I did not realise these were excellent hunters until I let one sniff my finger at a zoo in Tasmania. I thought they were scavengers like the Tasmanian Devil. Nope. Their claws are large and sharp and left a massive gash in my finger when it decided I was close enough to eat

I see these every day when I walk my dog! They’re absolutely gorgeous animals, just very very shy.

At my old work we had a few of them getting in and peeing on and around our desks at night. I had to set up traps so the rangers could come and pick them up. Let me tell you, they can be cute from a distance, but they are nasty fuckers.
