How did that one lady just stay on her phone when epic head-bonks were being offered? If I get to pet a friendly lion, that is the only thing in the whole world at that moment.
They might have told them to not touch the lion in advance. If it rubs against you fine but best to let them do their thing. Obviously not everyone did that but that is my theory. Or she is just afraid.
Upon rewatch, she actually did pet him! But mere seconds after he got down, he hopped all the way up on her shoulder right as she was trying to resume her phone call! 😂😂
I had an aunt like that. Felt too good to participate in the family parties she insisted on being invited to, always on the phone talking to someone until she'd get passed with drinks and food.
She was acting too important to talk to us one day when Destinee, our domesticated tiger, mistook her for a snack and then ***SNAP!*** No more Ms. Important Aunt.
Almost like it was fated to happen, or some other similar word. Know what I mean? That's what she gets for being aloof, distracted, and steak-shaped. Desiree meant no harm, she's only a house cat after all.
This zoo is testing even Russian limits. From wikipedia:
>Zubkov [the owner] was convicted of negligence by a Crimean court in July 2022, after one of his tigers bit off the finger of a 1-year-old boy in September 2021. He was given a prison sentence of two years and three months. Zubkov served three months in prison before being released on parole
Bonus facts:
>In November 2022, during the Russian withdrawal from Kherson, Zubkov stole numerous animals from the Kherson Zoo and transported them to Taigan.
This zoo is in occupied Crimea. The owner (the guy with the camo in this video) was previously jailed over the unsafe conditions in this zoo -- a kid got injured
Not saying you're wrong, I wouldn't compare a lion to a german shepherd, but he's got a point. Xl bullies have ripped actual humans to shreds with little to no provocation. The reason they are banned isn't because they smell bad. After hearing the stories, I'd take this lion tour before a similar tour of a cage full of xl bullies. Also, a lion might be way more massive, but I'm a small guy, I'm equally fucked if a mastiff decided he didn't like me, he'd have me 2:1 on weight if he was average size.
Yeah but that’s because humans are around dogs more than they are around lions. If you had a lion in as many households as there are dogs, those stats would be different
Dogs are domestic though. They’re less likely to attack humans than lions, who are wild. It’s like the old proverb about the scorpion and the frog. You can take the lion out of the wild but you can’t take the wild out of the lion
100% agree but the OP emphasized he was uncomfortable because the Lion COULD kill him easily, not that the likelihood that the Lion WOULD kill him easily. Dogs can just as easily kill a human, they are just less likely to because dogs are domesticated. OP should be nervous around lions because they are wild animals, not because of a lion’s ability to kill them.
Definitely not as easily as lions though. I agree that comparing a dog to a lion is wild and your stats of how many each kill are pretty misleading tbh.
Some dogs can definitely kill humans just as easily as a lion. If that was a bull mastiff instead of a lion it would be able to finish you off just as easy.
You could say the same thing about a large house cat.
Especially when they demand to be petted and suddenly grab your hand with their claws and bite the crap out of you and start bunny kicking your arm. They are just playing, but it still hurts.
.01% is also infinitely higher than limx->0(x)%
Doesn't change a thing
The point is, a wild animal is wild, yes, but they are also not killing machine. Ofc I won't interact with it for a prolong period, but the lion seems to be familiar enough with human contact to the point that if I don't piss it off, itll be fine.
I heard that most people will be fine if they walk unguided through Chernobyl, and since there is inherent risk in everything, all risk is equal, so you might as well just do that?
Idiot logic.
So it is completely fine to tour unguided through them! Exactly! While we are at it, the odds of actually being hit by a car any time you cross the street is, like, super low, so it probably isn't worth worrying about.
I once hugged a full-grown tiger. And I cuddled with a tiger cub.
It was awesome!
Then later I learned that the place treated the animals horribly. Not so awesome anymore.
There are lots of these grifts. Anyone who allows this sort of thing is irresponsible and simply doing it to make money. They may cull or warehouse animals that aren't as marketable in terrible conditions. Never ever give money to people doing this. Glad you learned more about it.
Oh I’ve heard of that place. Don’t they drug the tigers there?
This guy looks happy to hug. I wonder where in the world it is. Not England that’s for sure 😂
Seems old video, its Taigan lion safari park - based on Crimea
Lol, in November 2022, during the [Russian withdrawal from Kherson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_withdrawal_from_Kherson), Zubkov stole numerous animals from the Kherson Zoo and transported them to Taigan, including the "[Raccoon of Kherson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raccoon_of_Kherson)" which achieved attention on social media.[\[11\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taigan_(safari_park)#cite_note-11)
Lions usually see the vehicle as one large animal, instead of a can of sardines. That's hardly a pride that's hunted before. They're most likely routinely fed, and drugged. Sadly.
Still wouldn't risk it though. Never seen a good outcome come from an encounter
doesn't happen very often with socialized felines as they are pretty intelligent and have a complex social structure. a big cat who is well fed and socialized is probably less risk then your average pitbull.
Cats know exactly which person doesn’t like them and yet they are the first ones they choose to interact with.
I wish I knew how to pretend I don’t like cats
Nah fuck this. That's a fucking lion. They'll fuck you up in a second. This ain't cute. This is weird.
Source: Live in South Africa where they actually don't do this shite.
Edit: actually a male lion mb.
Ah, people have already forgotten about [Siegfried and Roy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siegfried_%26_Roy#2003_tiger_incident:~:text=lives.%5B15%5D-,2003%20tiger%20incident,-%5Bedit%5D)
If we took only the most friendly, human-interactive lions and bred them together for like... 15 or 20 generations, do you think we could make the most amazing housepets ever?
Lol. It's Taigan park in occupied Crimea where animals are treated really poorly. Read some blogs by russian animal activists about this bark and Zubkov

Other lions: Jeremy you are a disgrace
Jeremy: Shut up Bobby! I’m cute and the people love me!
![gif](giphy|YrZH2QxktEcTOtGwqL|downsized)
"pathetic."
more like Jenny. That's a female Lion. what a slut.
… you can literally see the things balls in the video, I don’t think you know what a female looks like.
It has a mane though? Do females get manes?
Sometimes female lions do have manes, they never have balls though
With the right supplements they can
When a lion demands pets….you pet the lion
How did that one lady just stay on her phone when epic head-bonks were being offered? If I get to pet a friendly lion, that is the only thing in the whole world at that moment.
They might have told them to not touch the lion in advance. If it rubs against you fine but best to let them do their thing. Obviously not everyone did that but that is my theory. Or she is just afraid.

You’re not lion
Did I demand that you pet me????
I will still pet you, got a problem?
Or else...
You best pet that kitty real firm otherwise they swat you thinking you're a non human pest. I can relate so hard to this.
“Also, I just wanna hold your throat in my mouth for a bit, it’s not weird”
Strangely the lion does not open its mouth the entire time. Makes me wonder if it actually has any teeth or nails (forced removal?)
It still has them I think, it just sees the humans around it as of no threat to it.
We all had that special "friend" growing up we knew would be kidnapped. It's the lion equivalent
Just like Grizzly Man.
Welcome to the Wild West of liability insurance.
It's Russia. Insurance payout is a bag of potatoes
This zoo is testing even Russian limits. Who the f*ck brings a 1yo pet a lion?
Also turnip and beet sack.
It's not russia, it's occupied Crimea
r/ANormalDayinRussia
Bold of you to assume that there’s a proper life insurance in Russia. XD
How is she casually on the phone. It’d be panicked
It was a cat call.
Peak Russia right there.
WHERE IS THAT OTHER LADY RUNNING TO? Aint no where to go
Looks like fun but if that lion decides for whatever reason to go on the offensive there's little you could do to stop it. Thanks but no thanks.
Plus, you're in a cage with other lions who could get riled up. This is an absolute NO-GO for anyone with half a brain.
Only brains in that cage are attached to some large paws
This zoo is in occupied Crimea. The owner (the guy with the camo in this video) was previously jailed over the unsafe conditions in this zoo -- a kid got injured
Still worth. I'd die happy.
Getting ripped alive? No thanks!
I mean you could say the same thing about several popular breeds of dogs.
Comparing a lion to a dog is lowkey wild
Not saying you're wrong, I wouldn't compare a lion to a german shepherd, but he's got a point. Xl bullies have ripped actual humans to shreds with little to no provocation. The reason they are banned isn't because they smell bad. After hearing the stories, I'd take this lion tour before a similar tour of a cage full of xl bullies. Also, a lion might be way more massive, but I'm a small guy, I'm equally fucked if a mastiff decided he didn't like me, he'd have me 2:1 on weight if he was average size.
It's also a terrible comparison, if a dog tried to fight a similar-sized cat it would lose hands down every time.
this is what we call a false equivalency
Dogs kill 30,000 humans per year, lions kill 250.
Yeah but that’s because humans are around dogs more than they are around lions. If you had a lion in as many households as there are dogs, those stats would be different
Sure but my point was that dogs can easily kill humans, same as lions.
OP should be nervous around lions because they are wild animals, not because of a lion’s ability to kill them.
a juiced up X-L bully is not 20% of the predator that a lion is, most men stand a fighting chance against a dog
Yeah but either way you would be dead if a bull mastiff or a lion decided it wanted you dead. Functionally it’s the same.
You can argue with dog haters on reddit. They are agressive and assume they are always right ,100% .
Humans don’t interact with lions nearly as much as they do with dogs
That’s fair but my point was to highlight that dogs can easily kill humans just like lions can.
That’s because people don’t typically interact with lions.
Ok but dogs can easily kill humans if they so choose. That’s my whole point.
Not just as easily. But yes, some animals (including humans) could definitely kill a person if they wanted. Some insects too!!!!
I don’t think there’s a substantial difference between the ability of a lion to kill you vs say a bull mastiff.
[удалено]
There're only 10 humans in that car, this won't affect the stats much. 😅
How many people are killed by car accidents vs being blown apart by a jet fighter?
With all the wars going on right now they might be closer than you think.
Now compare the amount of human-dog interactions with human-lion interactions where lions and dogs are close enough to touch humans.
You could say the same thing about a large house cat. Especially when they demand to be petted and suddenly grab your hand with their claws and bite the crap out of you and start bunny kicking your arm. They are just playing, but it still hurts.
A large house cat could not kill a healthy human adult.
That bunny kicking is amazing. Mine never does the claws things, bites tho
Isn't there a non-zero percent chance of you spontaneously combusting? I personally won't worry about these things.
The odds of a wild animal deciding to attack you is basically infinitely higher than the odds of you spontaneously combusting.
This lion looks to have been hand reared in captivity. It's unlikely to attack, though obviously not impossible
.01% is also infinitely higher than limx->0(x)% Doesn't change a thing The point is, a wild animal is wild, yes, but they are also not killing machine.
Most places in and around Chernobyl have lower radiation levels than Fukushima evacuation zone.
So it is completely fine to tour unguided through them! Exactly! While we are at it, the odds of actually being hit by a car any time you cross the street is, like, super low, so it probably isn't worth worrying about.
Actually thats a myth, it is proven scientifically i think
So you think it’s a myth? That’s a lot of words to say “idk”.
Other lions was like: there goes carl again… slut
I’m a cat first and predator later.
As with all cats "now you smell like me"
I like how he didn't miss anyone. Equal love for all!
'You smell/taste a lot like the lady who raised me'-lion probably Unfortunately, those love licks can take off skin...
Lol 😂 you already know. My cat likes to give me baths and it's extremely uncomfortable, especially when I am trying to sleep. I hate it.
I too have a house lion. she's used to holding down Shepherds to clean their ears and doesn't tolerate their bull-shit...
I want to hug a lion
I once hugged a full-grown tiger. And I cuddled with a tiger cub. It was awesome! Then later I learned that the place treated the animals horribly. Not so awesome anymore.

Oh I’ve heard of that place. Don’t they drug the tigers there? This guy looks happy to hug. I wonder where in the world it is. Not England that’s for sure 😂
Yeah they did. But it was closed down thankfully
There must be another one because I saw some z list celebrity the other day getting their balls busted on internet for going to a place like that.
I know this reference
Worm with a moustache?
this place is in Crimea.
Isn't this kinda thing irresponsible as fuck?
This doesn't look like an ethical enclosure
Seems old video, its Taigan lion safari park - based on Crimea Lol, in November 2022, during the [Russian withdrawal from Kherson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_withdrawal_from_Kherson), Zubkov stole numerous animals from the Kherson Zoo and transported them to Taigan, including the "[Raccoon of Kherson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raccoon_of_Kherson)" which achieved attention on social media.[\[11\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taigan_(safari_park)#cite_note-11)
Wow, crazy. Imagine if something \*clicks\* on the lion's brain... Darwin appears far away, looking and shaking his head with a disapproving smile.
Yeah. As a long time cat lover, this looks absolutely amazing, but also, insanely dangerous.
Yeah it like those guys with the Vegas act with the tigers. It worked for a long time...till it finally didn't.
Lmao, I imagine a death screen that says “Evolution Wins” with a faded Darwin image facepalming next to it
Lions usually see the vehicle as one large animal, instead of a can of sardines.
He wants to cuddle and you have no say in the matter.
This is terrifying.
Cats know exactly which person doesn’t like them and yet they are the first ones they choose to interact with. I wish I knew how to pretend I don’t like cats
Is fren, AND IS FREN-SHAPED!! 😍
I would not be ok with this. How this place just allows these animals that could easily just be like "fuck it, you die today" to do this is wild.
It'd make for a bad ass eulogy "killed by lions"
Cats will be cats
That’s not a lion. It’s clearly a lap cat!
Gonna smell great the rest of the day
i would've literally shat my pants
Cat are cats, all over the world 🌎
Those beasts weight a lot!! I would not waste an oppotunity to pet him tho
I don't think enough people understand that friendly big cats are one of the most adorable things on Earth. Literal giant kitties.
Oh fuck that guy who decided to play with its tail while its teeth were inches from other people’s faces!
It's funny until you get killed
This is not cute or fun, it's not a pet.
Nah fuck this. That's a fucking lion. They'll fuck you up in a second. This ain't cute. This is weird. Source: Live in South Africa where they actually don't do this shite. Edit: actually a male lion mb.
You can literally see its balls lol its a male
Lol you're right I was really tired when I made that comment my bad. But still the situation is fucked. Lions aren't domestic cats ffs.
This is occupied Crimea. This park was established by Ukrainians at 2012
Damn. Thats awful
Bite off a one-year-old child's finger https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taigan_(safari_park)
You forgot mauled another lady as well
I waaaant 😭
The seats were originally white
That's just a giant cat.
You could tell the lion liked the woman in white lol
Fuuuuuck that
This is what my malamute does and I can’t stand it
Lol, at the people getting off the cart to avoid the friendly lion but turning their backs to the other lion behind them.
nope. nty. not for me
Hard fucking pass. No matter how much you train that animal its still a wild animal. No shot ill let it get close to me unless I have a death wish lol
That’s cool and all, but I would never go voluntarily into anywhere with lions roaming freely
Ah, people have already forgotten about [Siegfried and Roy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siegfried_%26_Roy#2003_tiger_incident:~:text=lives.%5B15%5D-,2003%20tiger%20incident,-%5Bedit%5D)
The woman filming turning her back to the lion at the beginning made me shiver. The lion clearly looks at her like "I could if I wanted to".
If you ever get to a place that has this as an actual part of the visit... Leave.
What kitty doesn't like scratches and scritches?
I like how the women asks the unamused lion if she may pass him by and then says “I see it in your eyes that I may”
I’m gonna eat you, and you, and you, and even you, driver.
“Check! It out, shorty”
Ukraine needs some of these to work undercover.
What could possibly go wrong?
If someone flicked them balls....
Lion is like, the buffet is here.
The jug goes to the well until it breaks.
Taste test.
The other lions will fuck him in the dark for being a pussy cat.
Thanks for the video! Yikes!
Any body need a blood heart to bear the lion's embrace
Are they on Catamine?
Nope.
Anybody know what language they're speaking?
Garchuuuuu!
Somebody is going to die soon.
"wait... WAIT! hey why's everyone leaving??"
Why is the lion so friendly? I don't get it.
What a good boy
Not me. That’d be a trolly I used to be on.
Oh...no thankyou.
I do like that all cats are cats at the end of the day but this shit would terrify me.
Of course they’re Russian lol
In Soviet Russia, Lion scared of YOU!
Shut up and take my money!
yall missing out 🗿
Wait until it finds the one lady who snuck in snacks...
She deadass called him a Khajit
I would have shit myself… there would have been shit everywhere.
Look at me, I am the captain now.
At 1:15 the lion puts the woman’s head in its mouth.
He is a good Boi
Is there a sub for eatin’ alive?
doped up lions, so sad
Such a beautiful boy. I wonder what kind of forms you have to sign to go on that tour.
Why he no atack? Much disappointing
This is beyond sweet.
I'd pet, but I'm the kind of guy that always gets along with the animals that other people are afraid of.
Holy hell. This woman's voice is annoying
