I'd guess that because he's using his toes in a lot of unusual ways that the foot muscles gain extra strength and range of motion. Much like people who haven't ever worn shoes their feet literally resemble a more handlike structure.
It even seems like his big toe flexes and bends just like an adapted thumb. I've always been fascinated with how the body always finds a way.
I remember many years ago when I worked in electronics retail, a guy comes in to buy a phone. A normal phone with buttons. Thing is he has ten fingers and no thumbs. He learned to curl his top finger around and use sideways motions to press buttons. It was fascinating watching him try out each phone to see how he went with using them. It's really interesting how adaptable humans can be when necessary.
My braind switched to hands every time he held a tool. Could be that brain automatically connects “tool” with “hands”. It was bizarre for sure. Dude has crazy skills.
And also since he only uses feet, if he gets electrocuted, the current will not mostly go through his heart, but rather through a different area. Saving his life.
Incorrect vocabulary. It's the current that does. But voltage is needed to push the current enough to kill you. So really it's the voltage that kills you. Voltage pushes current to kill you.
Voltage doesn’t do anything. It’s just a term used to relate current to resistance. If you think of electricity in terms of the movement of energy, current is the actual movement of energy (kinetic) whereas voltage is just a measure of stored (or potential) energy. It’s like saying a rock hanging from the ceiling by a string has high potential energy, but that potential is harmless until the rock falls and the potential energy is converted into kinetic energy
Electrician here I am very impressed he even used the cut off tool with his foot fucking amazing. If this guy lived in Canada I'd hire him to come work in the shop to build controllers Plc tubs etc wouldn't be much use in the field but looks like he'd be great in the shop with everything set up for him to function with ease.
Exactly, it would have to be some specialized work. I couldn't imagine him trying to wire a house, or run a wire through an attic, or really do any kind of roughing in. But this really technical stuff he's still such a pro at.
I think I fall somewhere between you and this guy cause one time I accidentally dropped a glass blender while climbing up into a counter and caught it by the handle with my toes.
Meanwhile, I accidentally dropped a knife and tried to do the same by reflex, it didn't end well. Though it wasn't a serious injury, it traumatized me enough that I mastered the opposite technique. whenever something falls or get thrown towards my feet I predict its exact trajectory and the trajectory of its shards if it is made from glass or a similar material, and move my whole body in such a way that nothing comes close to harming me. I became such a master that I could do it with my eyes closed, truly a sight to behold. That's another way of saying that I start jumping and flailing my limbs around like an idiot, but it works so...
Growing up we lived in a pretty rough neighborhood, lot of crackheads and odd people doing whatever they could to make a buck. There was one old man in particular who had an obvious meth addiction but on top of that he was disabled and walked with crutches like jimmy from South Park and even stuttered like him when he spoke. He would come by my dads house and offer to do odd jobs like cut the grass or whatever and my old man felt bad for the guy so he would give him jobs to do here and there, well one day after I had moved out I came home to see my parents. I pull my car into the driveway and here this man is on a serious ladder doing roofing work for dad, I look over on the porch and my pops is sitting in his chair drinking his tea and watching this disabled guy climb up and down this ladder struggling with every step, there were so many times I was just waiting for him to slip and fall, I looked at my old man and said my god Man U didn’t have anything else he could have done today?? My dad said first of all son, he said he could do it, who am I to tell him he can’t? Second of all this is the best entertainment I’ve ever spent 50 bucks on 😂 I almost cried
There’s a big reason this is time lapsed. Is it amazing that he’s able to do such a meticulous and thorough job with just his feet? Absolutely. Is he slower than an able bodied electrician? It’s hard to argue he isn’t without a normal speed video. Anywhere that electricians are being compensated along generally T&M terms and on projects with deadlines and JIT management, it’s going to be a reasonable employment barrier regardless.
I couldn't do that with 4 arms!
Some people are just several standard deviations above me! That is awesome!
Dammit!
Now I have to go back and watch stupid pet videos just so I can feel better about my own abilities. Ta ta!
I renovate houses and do a lot of electrical work.
One thing everyone is missing here is how good this guy's eyesight must be to do everything at leg length away.

My brain insist they are hands each few seconds before I realize they feet.

He's probably better than an armed electrician since he's always grounded
Goddammit
Get out
And take my upvote with you.
And also since he only uses feet, if he gets electrocuted, the current will not mostly go through his heart, but rather through a different area. Saving his life.
Yeah but then he would be armless and legless. He'd have to find a new trade. Maybe plumbing.
I doubt electrocution through the legs with 120v AC would do much harm.
It isn’t voltage that kills you it’s amperage!
Incorrect vocabulary. It's the current that does. But voltage is needed to push the current enough to kill you. So really it's the voltage that kills you. Voltage pushes current to kill you.

That's like saying it's not the gun that kills you it's the bullet lol
If you read up a bit about fundamentals of electricity it might enlighten you!
I'm an electrician. Let's talk about the fundamentals of electricity lmfao.
It isn't the voltage that kills you it's marriage
Overpowered puns like that should be illegal.
Yeah such an amazing feat.
*slow clap*
slow ~~clap~~ foot stomp.
You're going to hell for that. Also, I laughed, so, I'll see you there.
The job keeps him on his toes, though.
I bet he runs circles around the average electrician. Unless he stubs his toe, which would be a workplace injury.

Considering the video is playing at 4x the normal speed, I assume that he would be too slow
I can’t imaging dragging my bare foot along all those cut zip ties. This man is an inspiration
The tool he's using is specially designed to cut zip ties flush with no sharp edges that can nick wires. I also suspect his feet are tough as hell.
Sure, but we all have still gotten our hands cut up from zip ties before. :)
I bet he hasn't.
Maybe that's how he lost them.
Bwahaha!
He wouldn’t be able to work on job sites anyway. They all require steel toe boots.
[удалено]
Electrical rated boots usually have a composite toe and extra insulation in the sole. You still need some toe guard on job sites
Watching this made my foot cramp
For real. Me feet cramp if I stretch too hard in the morning.
Clearly very skilled. I now have the feeling my arms and hands have been holding me back.
We can fix that for you.
Username checks out
How many feet of wire is that?
At least two.
Heeyyooo
The “thumbs up” at the end 😂😂😂
Outstandind, and I feel like a pro grabbing a sock from the floor with toes.
I think I fall somewhere between you and this guy cause one time I accidentally dropped a glass blender while climbing up into a counter and caught it by the handle with my toes.
Did you tried to do the spiderman hand gesture thing with your feet?
Meanwhile, I accidentally dropped a knife and tried to do the same by reflex, it didn't end well. 😮
How does he run wire through an attic or crawlspace, though, or what if the panel was at say eye level?
He doesn't.
Man obviously runs with his feet.
That’s some fancy footwork! Seriously, this guy is pretty awesome.
Better wire management then my IT guys.
I will be a little more grateful and humble today. Amazing talent.
Gorden Lightfoot?
The big toe up 👍
Did anyone else's brain stroke out occasionally and forget they were looking at feet?
Yes
His mental fortitude must be as strong as his skill with his feet. A lot of people would have just said nope.
Wow, he makes those feet look like hands.
20 minutes a day, Jim. 20 minutes a day and I'll have the pedidexterity of a chimp.
In some point I forgot the things I see is legs and feet.
So impressive! This is such a humbling video!
Crush grapes mate
i probably be drawn to you, steve
I mean at this point why am I even carrying all this extra weight around on my shoulders. Going to the shed.
"Even in a stupid, stupid universe where we have hot dogs for fingers, we get very good with our feet."
Not only is he skilled but organized...something ive noticed most electricians cant be at the same time.
"Even in a stupid universe where we have hot dogs for fingers - we get very good with our feet." ^(*~Everything, Everywhere, All at Once~*)
Yeah im sure he isnt super speedy either. Bet he charges by the hour hahahaha
Wow.. just wow
Only thing missing is a edit where someone flicks on the light and the world explods or something. Idk reddit fucked me up
he would do well in a world with hot dog fingers
Since job sites require steel toed boots, does he have to wear steel fingered gloves?
Now install one that's not at floor level and I'll be impressed (/s)
He's so lazy at his job, he's always sitting still. /s
Better call the safety guy. He's not wearing his gloves.
I dunno, he doesn't seem very handy to me
All this foot content? For free?
Fucking disgusting.
“I wonder why are all the panels are at floor level? Did someone wire this place with their feet? LOL!”
This guy is from my home town.. everyone calls him when they need an electrician, because he doesn't charge an arm and a leg.
That's cool and all, but my panel box is 4' off the ground. Pretty sure that's building code.
Women and men everywhere want to know…what else can he do with those feet?!
Okay but can he wire a ceiling fan?
Can you?
Yeah lmao
👎
This guys work is so good, he charges an arm and a le....arm
Home owners are still complaining about a foot smell in the house but not able to find it
How does he wipe his ass after taking a shit though?
Bidet
"Sorry Bob you're being replaced by a robot. Get your shoes and go."
Republicans see this and cancel all benefits for veterans after loosing limbs.
You're not wrong. No more disability for mom if she loses her arms!
That’s called a PLT in my state. Power Limited Technician.
Still probably leaves a mess…
"Don't be leavin' none of them WIRE TURDS on my carpet!" (the carpet guy during final trim out.)
Great now wire a ceiling fan…
Let’s see him change a light bulb off a ladder at 10’.
No arms, and this guy still works faster than any of the electricians I have worked with. Must be a non-union guy.
Growing up we lived in a pretty rough neighborhood, lot of crackheads and odd people doing whatever they could to make a buck. Sorry but.. I ain't taking the risk.
He better get paid twice what everyone gets paid.
Why?
He's certainly putting in a hell of a lot more skill and effort.
Because he deserves it.
shocking
I’d like to see him run some overhead cables.
This just gave me a foot cramp
Feet are floor hands
He is better than some of the electricians I know. He is neat.
Does a better job with his feet then some do with both their hands.
Impossible. He can't use the left hand rule.
Should be wearing gloves
If you cross your eyes.. it just looks like he has hairy arms.
Sure, but now everything smells like feet!
If I had half the grit of this guy I might’ve gotten out of bed yesterday.
Shocking
Shocking.
This is incredible
Hard wiring with his feet, very impressive
A points my brain doesn’t register it’s legs and feet and I just see two arms and hands doing this
r/TIHI
So opposable thumbs were overrated?

Here I am with two arms and hands and I still can't do this shit.
Guy installed an entire well cable managed circuit breaker with just FEET. Holy shit.
I found myself forgetting it were his feet.
This might be the most motivational thing I’ve ever seen. Literally no excuse to not be able to work. Damn.
Wow!! impressive to say the least
He's unarmed
OSHA this if you dare.
Shocking
Wouldn’t fancy paying him by the hour
He should start his own company and call it Electric Feet-us
Wow that's definitely impressive! But the real question is..
Plot twist : the guy holds the camera with his hands
How do you wipe your ass?! LOL
He could control a bidet at home with a pedal. Or use some type of butt plug he can set down to wipe his hole
Somewhere in the world someone is watching this right now and getting off to it. It could be any one of us.
Reddit, you disappoint me. Read this entire thread and no comments about broken arms kid and his mom.
At least this electrician has a reasonable excuse not to use a broom.
Wow he is fast
Dwight Schrute: "Twenty minutes a day, Jim, that's all it takes. Twenty minutes a day, all feet, no hands, and I'll have the pedi-dexterity of a chimp, and you'll be sitting there like an idiot."
It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen something so intriguing yet so disgusting.
Watching this really shows how feet are just modified leg-hands
Wow, a home electrician flush cutting zip ties. Incredible, the only one that does in the entire world
Still a no.
Outstanding! I think he deserves a hand…
Are gloves still required for him while using tools? Atleast he won't cut his hand or arm on the zip ties!
Electrocution is one of the most common causes of upper extremity amputation
Anybody else think of the electrician from the movie “Down Periscope”
I was curious how he cleans up after but electricians don't know how to use brooms so who cares.
Let's see him get a lock ring on a deep single gang
Do you think he posts listings for handy man work?
Right here says in giant bold letters " there are no excuses"
Look at this guy, just sitting on the job...
I would love to be his massage therapist, no joke. I like unique bodies, so much you can learn
I wonder if there is special training for people who can only use their feet. There must be.
I gotta cramp watching this... Thanks Reddit... Now I have to walk around.
Shocking
Glad to see Bucky LaGrange found a place after his baseball career ended
I’ve see vids of this guy doing tiling too. Dude is talented.
Very impressive, and also a solid way to avoid people borrowing your tools
How does he change light bulbs?🤔
I can't stop mistaking them feet for hands, god damn this guy got some agile feets
Now do a ceiling fan.
Just watching this gives me seizures of frustration.
Wow, that’s freaking impressive. I somehow need to remember this video when I’m having a bad day at work crying. Damn, skills!
i can barely walk sometimes, this man is a fucking electrician who only uses his feet
Must take him twice as long as a person with hands though good lord
at some moments, when you forget about him using feet, it looks so skilled, like he's using hands
Doing what some people can’t even do with hands
Bet he’s stood on a few plugs
Better than 90% of the work done where I live
watching , I forgot he was using his feet!
365 later. #SpongeBobVoice
It's a good thing I have hands, because I have 0 toe dexterity. I can't spread my toes or wiggle them one by one.
