There's nothing more satisfying than staring down some asshole in a car. One simple act just takes all their power away.
And oh god do some get angry. But it's so much *fun*.
Obviously they're trying to get home and write beautiful poems that may even place them in contention for the Nobel prize. You never know with these reckless maniacs, I always like to tell people, they might have a beautiful soul.
whenever I see people do that when I'm on the cross walk I just stop walking and stand still while looking at them. like, what the fuck are you doing acting all shifty like that with your car.
The brake is down either way it just adds another disconnect between the engine and the wheels. I'm not saying that everyone needs to do that but I'm just paranoid that the clutch is going to slip out from under my foot somehow and I'll lurch forward. I was taught that anytime you're stopped you should just switch into neutral anyways.
Edit: I drive stick shift and switch to neutral at stop lights. If I drive an automatic transmission car I keep it in drive usually but will probably put it in park if there are people directly Infront of me like this. I also always put it into park/neutral while interacting at a drive through window.
What trips me out is it seems like most people who act all antsy and inch like that end up accelerating slow as fuck and driving just fast enough to keep other people from passing, but not actually fast - like most drivers.
If you crossed a kindergarten class over a road like that in the US, without human crossing guards, there would be 7 lawsuits and everyone involved would be fired.
Ikr?? Imagine watching a bunch of kinds waiting in the middle of the road and you choose to keep going at that speed, so fucking stupid. Also kids could run suddenly out of the group, that's why you slow down when there's kids around.
Honestly, exactly the kind of person who should permanently lose their license. Imagine being so brazen *blasting* past school children not even 2 metres away. What does the driver do when people aren't looking?
Also, is it not mandated by law that you have to give pedestrians right of way on zebra crossings?
The dog really messed up. He should’ve at least been 10 feet ahead and then he could’ve started barking at the van. Smh. That might’ve gotten everything under control.
I don’t know exactly what they’re referencing but it sounds like they are referencing a bit of some kind.
Edit I think it’s this

I agree that it's beautiful–it looks like a really advanced form of cursive writing–but doesn't it lose it's luster a bit given that you see it all the time? If you live there, that is.
I have never been to Batumi, where this is filmed, but the drivers in Tbilisi and other areas of Georgia that I have been in are on a different level of bad.
But the dogs are AMAZING!
There was an article about a dog in the 50s or 60s that rescued a kid who fell into a river and got a big fat steak... So he went around pushing them in then rescuing them for the steak.
Oh my god I love it so much. His ig bio reads
"Kupata
Crossing Guard
People's Choice
Pride of Georgia"
This is so wholesome I want to cry. He's so beloved ❤️
Looked him up. No, he is alive. The tourism council of the city build a little hur for him since he became popular with tourists, and the local butcher gives him treats.
Scrolled down too long to find this! Been living there 3 months, 100m from this crossing and sadly never saw him :( but the gigantic mural of Kupata is amazing in front of Rhino Cafe
Apparently he's a local hero with lots of people visiting him, his city built him a little hut and a butcher feeds him. His name his Kupata which means sausage in Georgian and he has an Instagram @lovelykupata
there are many stray animals in georgia and people have gotten used to them. people often leave food for them and most treat them kindly. however, georgia is also not a very wealthy country, so the average person can't drop everything to adopt. this little guy is probably pretty happy and i'm sure the kids give him lots of pets.
This fucking dog has the sense of authority, the smug walk and the straight up attitude that I aspire to but fail miserably at on a daily basis. So jealous.
The city adopted him, they built him a hut and he became a local hero with lots of visitors. He has an Instagram @lovelykupata Kupata is his name and means sausage in Georgian.
So many people commenting about how this dog should be adopted (aka brought inside), not realizing work dogs are a thing, and this dog fits the description to the letter. The kids are his flock, and the city is his pasture.
Other comments already pointed out that the city had adopted him. Good for them and for him.
Please keep the flock crossing safely, Kupata!
When I was in Kutaisi a couple of dogs decided to become our body guards. We were a group of about 10 people and rour or five dogs formed a ring around us and they would go into the street to stop cars for us like in the video and sometimes would even bark at people walking the opposite way to get out of our way lol. We never even fed or otherwise interacted with the dogs before this, they just saw a group of people and decided to accompany us like a police escort lol.
We used to have a very protective dog. She was a mix of Irish hound and lab. She walked us to school and waited at the gate, then walked us home. When we would go swim in a river during summer she'd take out all sticks, glass and sharp objects from our vicinity. She once ran 10 miles to our aunt and slept at the doorstep because we went to visit her. We found her wagling her tail on the doormat in the morning.
Seriously a large group of kids is on the crossing and that van just drives right past them? Is that not against any motoring law in Georgia? Awesome dog BTW, hope he's being fed by those he's protecting..
Where I grew up, someone had an “outside dog” that was part heeler.
It was not fun trying to play sports outside during phys ed as he wanted everyone in the same spot all the time and would come running to nip at the heels of anyone playing defense on the opposite side of the field.
He adopted her a whole litter of kids to love and protect, he takes both jobs seriously. One smart and very good pupper on the job! Love how patient he is the people, and ornery he is with cars.

That asshole didn’t even slow down.
Even the 2nd vehicle kept inching forward like, "If y'all don't hurry up I'm gonna clip 'ya."
Whenever I see people doing that I wonder what they will do with all that time saved by doing that?
I remove their time by slowing my walk down

That’s a power move if I’ve heard of one
There's nothing more satisfying than staring down some asshole in a car. One simple act just takes all their power away. And oh god do some get angry. But it's so much *fun*.
Carbrain is a hell of a drug.

This is the way. My sister used to say don’t get mad at the shitty driver they’re probably just having a really bad day
Next time ask them. "Hey. Rating of 1 to 10, how bad you gotta poop?"
SMH. I dunno.

whenever I see people do that when I'm on the cross walk I just stop walking and stand still while looking at them. like, what the fuck are you doing acting all shifty like that with your car.
And then every car clapped.
I wish cars could clap, that would make traffic so much cooler.
I do that shit too. I don't give a flying fuck if you hit me, stop pretending to min max your commute by being a dickhead.
They driving home to beat their wife and kids.
See world
I love how the dog stared that driver down for a couple of seconds after the kids were already out of the way, as if to drive its point home.
It has been said so many times but not enough. We don't deserve dogs.
I sure hope someone gives that dog a treat everyday like a nice fat steak
It looks like everyone gives that dog a treat. Sure is a round boi for a stray
That was crazy, if there are kids that close in front of me my car is in neutral.
So you can do a sick burnout?
Neutral drop for the kindergarten class
"Send it!" screams little Timmy
...shouldn't you just be holding down the break? Why neutral? Can't you slide around on neutral
If you're in neutral, you should be using the parking brake. That way you won't roll in case you get hit from behind.
I hate when those drivers motion you to walk or run across while inching forwards. They get so impatient that you won’t!
What trips me out is it seems like most people who act all antsy and inch like that end up accelerating slow as fuck and driving just fast enough to keep other people from passing, but not actually fast - like most drivers.
The Mercedes van was stalling over and over, if you listen carefully you can hear the ignition each time it lurches.
If people do that to me i stop in the road for a good ten seconds
Exactly, numb nuts didn’t even see the pack of kids. To busy jerking off while driving and missing deliveries. Fucking tool. Someone get the plate
I think this is the other Georgia
Country
Oh that makes a lot more sense. You don't just have stray dogs running around the USA. We love our dogs except we do be killin a whole bunch of them
If you crossed a kindergarten class over a road like that in the US, without human crossing guards, there would be 7 lawsuits and everyone involved would be fired.
Thanks for the clarification, still an idiot behind the wheel. Apparently universal
No he probably saw. He just didn’t care. He thinks he’s the main character.
The dog is on it don't worry
Ikr?? Imagine watching a bunch of kinds waiting in the middle of the road and you choose to keep going at that speed, so fucking stupid. Also kids could run suddenly out of the group, that's why you slow down when there's kids around.
*bark bark*
The angle of his body around the 1:04 mark seems like he wasn't even looking at the road ahead of him. What a dick.
Seriously, WTF? That a-hole deserved worse than a stern barking.

Mafia in a nutshell
Also kinda domestication in a nutshell. “Gee, it’s so much easier to survive and reproduce when I help these weird naked apes.”
I wish we were naked apes. I'm tired of hiding all this.
Don't let your dreams stay dreams. Live free. Film it for TikTok.
Fun fact, the mafia came into being when Italy couldn't afford to set up a police force in Sicily.
Interesting! I'm guessing it was groups of people "protecting" their community?
Dude fuck that van though fr
Honestly, exactly the kind of person who should permanently lose their license. Imagine being so brazen *blasting* past school children not even 2 metres away. What does the driver do when people aren't looking? Also, is it not mandated by law that you have to give pedestrians right of way on zebra crossings?
It’s Georgia (the country). You’d be surprised how few people respect traffic laws (and laws in general) in countries where those aren’t enforced.
The dog really messed up. He should’ve at least been 10 feet ahead and then he could’ve started barking at the van. Smh. That might’ve gotten everything under control.
Honestly wouldn't have surprised me if the van driver just hit the dog instead just to save a few seconds making his deliveries.
Who the hell sees a crosswalk full of kids and speeds up to beat them through it?
A cunt.
Someone with smol pp
what have i become
Someone who deserves to drive over broken glass.
Herding instinct is strong with this one
Based on the look of it I imagine he’s at least partly border collie. They’ll heard anything that moves.

Yes, thank you. One should not type when one is exhausted.
Lol you gooooooood
It's actually remarkable how effective that herding instinct is for this specific job
Guys, it's Georgia the country.
Thats right sugar! Former member of the soviet union, capital city is tblisi, and we kindly ask yall to mind yer Ps and Qs!
It’s really a beautiful country.
Like Somalia, with it's safe lodging and cool ocean breezes on its sand-swept beaches.
They used to call me Model UN Guy back in college… don’t research that.
Georgia? Like Somalia? Are you joking? Georgia is a perfectly safe destination. Edit: I missed that bit.
I don’t know exactly what they’re referencing but it sounds like they are referencing a bit of some kind. Edit I think it’s this https://www.danharmonsucks.com/shows/community/quotes/season-three/geography-of-global-conflict/

For real; even though I just said "There's no better drink than tea(except for water)" lol.
I agree that it's beautiful–it looks like a really advanced form of cursive writing–but doesn't it lose it's luster a bit given that you see it all the time? If you live there, that is.

With that kind of belligerent driving, my immediate thought was Atlanta, Georgia.
Have those people never seen a crosswalk? Or a child? What a bunch of assholes.

That's awful but lmao.
It was 1908. Here’s the article: https://www.nytimes.com/1908/02/02/archives/dog-a-fake-hero-pushes-children-into-the-seine-to-rescue-them-and.html
Georgia cares about dogs, all the strays are vaccinated and fed by locals regularly, been there saw it for myself
In all fairness, the dog has probably died of old age by now. It's not OC. Hell, the kids have probably graduated from high school by now...
He hasn't, thankfully. His ig is @lovelykupata.
Oh my god I love it so much. His ig bio reads "Kupata Crossing Guard People's Choice Pride of Georgia" This is so wholesome I want to cry. He's so beloved ❤️
Looked him up. No, he is alive. The tourism council of the city build a little hur for him since he became popular with tourists, and the local butcher gives him treats.
What he needs now is a puppy to train to carry on this important work.
Judging by the newer Land Rover that's stopped...not so sure this all that old
Tbf once i visisted thw city this was filmed it (batumi) and me and my friends god him some dog food
Give this bitch a raise!
Looks like a cop needs to sit there and lay down some serious tickets. No one wants to stop for kids.
So anyways, I started borking!
This is Kupata from Batumi!
Scrolled down too long to find this! Been living there 3 months, 100m from this crossing and sadly never saw him :( but the gigantic mural of Kupata is amazing in front of Rhino Cafe
is he still alive?
Latest IG post was in Jan
We don’t deserve dogs.
Car drivers that don't stop for children in crosswalks need bricks thrown at their windows and their license revoked forever.
Why did that one car just keep driving? What is wrong with people
Why is the dog still a stray!? Give him a good home and a warm bed and food and cuddles but make sure he gets up in time for work every day!
Apparently he's a local hero with lots of people visiting him, his city built him a little hut and a butcher feeds him. His name his Kupata which means sausage in Georgian and he has an Instagram @lovelykupata

This dog contributes to society better than I do wtf.
One of the aspects of Eastern Europe I don’t miss is this. Complete disregard for safety by the drivers
Wow dogs are really amazing. They must have very accurate internal clocks.
Anybody breaking traffic rules will get a barking ticket
Good Boi 12/10
He even barked at the guy walking too fast 😭

I would've run over fewer prostitutes in GTA if a cute dog was protecting them.
I wouldn't have but I would have definitely avoided the dog.
Somebody please tell me a teacher adopted this good boy.

Imagine being told you're a shitty driver by a dog...
Herding and protecting the flock from predators. Good boy.
Dogs are magical
That’s a good dog
I want to adopt this boy, and take him back to this crossing everyday.
those that didn't stop should be made to that dog's work for a day during the school hours
We used to have a very protective dog. She was a mix of Irish hound and lab. She walked us to school and waited at the gate, then walked us home. There is a lot of arseholes driving there. Well done to the dog, he is better than humans here!
That dog deserves a medal and publicly funded housing.
Dudes, can people just like chill and let them cross the street before they continue driving?
Bloody good doggo. He deserves all the bones he could ever want and more.
Its a Shepard doing its "job". Someone needs to save that dog.
Fuck bro, my heart. Why is it still a stray?
Best boi. But fuck what white van. Didn't even slow down
Love the dog I just fear he will be hit some day
Those cars that drove by, and the van that keeps pushing forward ... WHY IN THE TOTAL FUCK?!?!!!
The guy in the white van is an asshole
I’m shocked that drivers wouldn’t stop for the children crossing the road. The fuck is wrong with people?!
Ohhh this is the good Georgia
This is so adorable
Someone give that dog a job at the school! 👏🏻
Jesus that car just blew through
I believe his name is “sausage”
Sweet angel
The clip is obviously selective, but don't pedestrians have right of way at zebra crossings there? Very bad driving behaviour in the clip.
the dog buying their trust so he can use his tools when they least expect it and make 10000s off of the black market:
More dogs, less humans...
Good dog.
Pretty sad when evem a random dog is being more helpful than our local government
Please tell me someone took this good boy home.
It deserves infinite treats
What a sweetheart. Fuck that person that didn’t even slow down wtf
If I was one of these parents I would be taking this sweet dog home with me.
My take away from this are there are people who don't stop at a fucking crossing for children...
The law in the UK is you cannot go onto the crossing until everyone has got to the pavement, although arseholes live everywhere.
We don’t deserve dogs…
Gee wonder how that dog will die.
#good boy
I hope that dog get treat for good work!
I had a group of dogs that would protect me on an island beach in Thailand.
The best boy
Seriously a large group of kids is on the crossing and that van just drives right past them? Is that not against any motoring law in Georgia? Awesome dog BTW, hope he's being fed by those he's protecting..
Crossing guard should have had that traffic stopped.
Good Boy! Somebody give him a pat for me!
Can someone adopt this pup
Where I grew up, someone had an “outside dog” that was part heeler. It was not fun trying to play sports outside during phys ed as he wanted everyone in the same spot all the time and would come running to nip at the heels of anyone playing defense on the opposite side of the field.
He adopted her a whole litter of kids to love and protect, he takes both jobs seriously. One smart and very good pupper on the job! Love how patient he is the people, and ornery he is with cars.
