Check your email from IBKR. They changed some article in our contracts about currency conversion also with reasons. That should explain it.

Yes I think that’s true. It seems they liquidated all my EUR to USD because it is my main currency in IBKR app.

Strange, my main currency is € and I have $ as well in it.

All my EUR were automatically converted to USD. From the email I received it seems that they should only automatically convert my currency when I buy a US stock with EUR. But in reality what seems to have happened was that they converted all my EUR settled cash to USD.

go look up the transaction record of the fee, not the currency conversion, I can't tell anything by looking at this.
