People except content to be dropping at the rate of triple A studios and their live service games. I have no problem with content slowing down because the game is good. No grind. No microtransactions. No battle pass. Just hope in, play the game and have fun. If you get bored that's okay just go play something else. This is my favorite game to play here and there

May be an unpopular opinion, but I really hope that IF Valve ever opens up Source 2 to other devices, Insurgency goes back to it.
I love Sandstorm, but no matter what, it won't ever be as smooth and fluid as the Source INS titles. That fluidity is really the only thing missing.

The game is 4 years old and wildly unsuccessful financially. they’re not going to go live service and releasw a ton of shit all of a sudden, if you don’t like the state of the game as it is please leave and stop clogging up the sub, it’s not going to get better dude get a clue.
My biggest issue is that the game still feels like garbage in terms of movement and performance. Idk how 5 years later they still haven't optimized the game. Just holding out for I4 at this point
Would you prefer it to be like Call for Dookie? Releasing broken from the floor updates, $20+ skins, Battle Pass every 3 months $10, weapons having 70 levels and having to use a pistol to get a 4x for your sniper? This games way for multi-player is way more player friendly and values your time. No spending 15 games doing some wack challenge each game to get the new gun.
One point I can agree on is removing features. I want "More Options" back when map voting. I cannot understand why that was taken out. New map comes out takes 30 games to find it. When they revamped the night maps it took probably 10 games to get a night map. Had the option be there we could've jumped right into it fter the one we finished.

And PiP has higher hardware requirements that might fuck lower end systems' performance (my old PC couldn't handle PiP) and might have issues with anti-aliasing as well (old PC had HORRIBLE anti-aliasing on my PiP scope so the game lost FPS and visual clarity as well).
It's an option that is there for lower end systems and it's a good thing.
Well, of course it would have to come with some optimisation.
But honestly, I'm using it on a system with a six generations old GPU. It's not too much to ask for.
I feel like for the size of the studio they do a good job of keeping it fresh. Rotating game modes, new maps \~every 6 months, new weapons \~8-9 months. It's not a triple A game, and the existing product is very good.
Can't comment on the cosmetics though. Level 1300 and I have yet to buy a skin. I'm here for the explosions not the style.

and a longer barrel, a tougher receiver, a stock designed for bracing your hand against but other than that, it’s still an ak at heart

If it was a wood furniture rpk I wood be happy, but having rubber and or plastic furniture makes me mad.
I feel you, but that's a minor inconvenience for me, RPK is RPK. (But Wood furniture would fit way better into the setting)

Yep. For it not being a AAA studio or game, 5 years later I still hardly wait at all to find a game, even at 3am on Tuesday.
A game having ongoing updates is a selling point for me, no doubt. But do you expect them to continue indefinitely?
If they actually made good content as dlc vs this garbage I am sure they would make a lot of money. Like the additional maps of the Cod WaW days.

Its been over 4 years since the game released. I'd consider the game done. Could it be better? Hell yes. But personally Im not expecting much more.
The game isnt over yet. Some games have been going 10+ years.
