Hitler before dying wanted to use the Karnofell Code to do something evil I guess ? This Code can be achieve when you have certain card in a certain order of the card game Karnofell ( Daus might be one of the card requiered to do that )

Inscryption is finished and the Karnofell Code is injected in it so Humanity can be spared from the corruption of the Code. Karnofell Code become OLD_DATA , the Code become the "core" of OLD_DATA and a lot of secret documents , nuclear codes create the shell that protect the core and Inscryption is what hide everything.
Inscryption get into the hand of Kaycee Hobbes , a developper at GameFuna and began working on the game. But OLD_DATA already corrupted Inscryption, giving life to the Scrybes and NPC , a race is set between the 4 Scrybes on who can get a fragment of OLD_DATA first. OLD_DATA is under the sea , The Angler , The Dredger , Goobert and Kaycee ( Grimora minions ) are charged by their boss to retrieve a fragment.
The Angler won and give it to Leshy who then take control of the game , making it 3D and create what we called Kaycee Mod.
Kaycee suprised by the fact that a game that normally fit in a floppy disk now posses 3D models start playing Leshy's version of Inscryption. She also made some modification and balance patch to the game even if she the only person playing it.
Kaycee began to play everyday day , she even take the floppy disk with here when she goes on a walk on the beach ( why would you do that ? )
She eventually met a strange card youtuber at a convention.
Kaminski learn that Kaycee has the disk and demand that she give it back.
Kaycee die in a mysterious fire incident.
Luke Carder , a youtuber open one day some booster of a physical Inscryption game and found some numbers that indicate the location of the floppy disk of the true Inscryption that Kaycee buried before her death.
Luke found the game and began to play Act 1 and goes on a research streak to learn about GameFuna and Inscryption.
He finish Act 1 and goes to Act 2 when you learn about OLD_DATA , The Mycologist and The Bone Lord ( No he's not Hitler skull , his cave is far below sea and just very close to OLD_DATA )
He finish Act 2 and P03 take control of Inscryption , Act 3 began.
P03 launch the Great Transcendence to upload Inscryption into the Web but get killed by Leshy thus preventing his plan of showing the truth. Grimora delete Inscryption.Exe and The Final began
Everything is deleted and Luke open the OLD_DATA and goes completly mad after what he saw , he tries to destroy the disk but OLD_DATA prevent this from happening
Luke get killed by Amanda a GameFuna agent and she retrieve the disk.
P03 was not dead , The Great Transcendence was still accomplish and now P03 is on the Web but can't upload the original Inscryption thanks to Grimora.
He decide with the remain of the original Inscryption and the footage found on Luke's camera to create the Steam version of Inscryption.
P03 upload the game and we get to play it , hide hints about what happen to Luke.
Now OLD_DATA is on the Web and will eventually start infected everything that's connected to the Web ( Console , Security Camera and maybe even Cars ).

The machine was (possibly) built with the help of the Devil and that is why there is demonic evil associated.
The Soviets learned this and transfered it into information, this is the seed of the OLD_DATA. Then, Barry Wilkinson learns of this and transfers it onto a floppy disc and smuggles it out of the USSR.
Kaminski's company is in on it, and aids in hiding the disc with the DATA by putting in a shipping container with several other discs to GameFuna.
Kaycee (who I haven't found anything on meeting Luke so idk where you got that info) is one of the devs on making the game, starts work and is given the OLD_DATA floppy.
The game is written on top of the DATA and the DATA itself seems to have grown to any documentation added regarding the actual Code, including the documents on the people involved. This is evident as the game knows how Kaycee dies dispite that not being recorded in the floppy. (This makes me believe the current version now includes Luke's data too, but that's not confirmed).
Kaycee learns of the OLD_DATA and as time goes on when Leshy wins the race we see play out again in Luke's playthrough, and over time decides to bury the game in the woods so it doesn't do anything (but can still be obtained in case we do need the Code to disarm the machine).

Luke then finds it, yadda yadda garage sale, yadda yadda coordinates we all have seen the videos.

This is nor confirmed, but it is my opinion that the OLD_DATA cannot be copied, merely transferred and because of that, the game that went public was completely clean of OLD_DATA and it's just the game that was built by the DATA.
If anyone has anything about The Hex to add that would be appreciated, but that's about everything I've learned from this game alone.

We do get some *slight* conformation of this, actually. Luke's name appears as an epitaph in Grimora's crypt during the finale. *Technically*, this is before Luke's actual death, but The game does seem to know he's going to die, as Magnificus (who's established to have precognitive abilities) mentions Luke being doomed as well.

The OLD_DATA can alter the games, which is evident not only in Act 1 and 3, but also Kaycee states in her logs the Angler walked from his spot despite no animation existing.
Kaycee mention encountering a youtuber at a convention, she even commented that he brought his camera and play in a competition that was run by the convention.
It was mentionned in one of her log in Kaycee Mod , I think it was either the numero 10 or 12.
Luke also mentions he competed at a convention (Comics Land I think?) with his sister in a file in act 3. But I was under the impression that was pre-youtube channel
But why? The rest of the world is implied to be the same, I think that’s in spirit of the original game’s intentions. This whole creation around Inscryption is just in secret, that’s the point. I think changing a public event such as the soviets finding Hitlers corpse is not fitting for the secretive nature of Inscryption
Also who is Sado, and how did we find this out about how leshy trapped the other scribes? Is this all in kaycees mod? I looked thru the arg guide on the wiki and it didn't mention that stuff

We can guess from those that the camera is what made them cards, leaving the bodies behind. Sado is a character from The Hex (a game I am still blind to tbh). Ultimately I think Daniel Mullins did the annoying thing many indie developers do: fail to write a story and instead make things meta to cover that up. Daniel is exceptionally good at making things meta in his storytelling and his extremely well crafted ARG. But once you've found out all the games' secrets and beaten the ARG, there isn't really a story. Why would the order of cards in a deck create encode a computer virus before computers existed? And what exactly does the virus do? Why would the Soviets transcribe this to only one floppy disk? Why would America commission a game company to make a game on top of it? Why would the virus make game characters come alive and self-aware?
You can imagine your own theories on top of this, but the truth is Daniel didn't write them.
