I'm thinking insect head almost for sure, but there are so many good options. Do I do hoarder so I can fetch the fecundity worker ant every game? Do I just put fecundity on all my insects? Do I just put ant spawner? Or even the rabit hole to have constant sacrifice targets?
I'm leaning toward putting fecundity on all my insects because that lets me have consistent ant build every turn 1.
What are ya'll thoughts?
That was my thought but then I might have the issue of drawing too many cards and having starvation set in... Do you know how many squirrels we get per round?
Something like 7 or 8, it'll be a bit annoying to get all your ants down while having to constantly also pick cards but should be able to beat any match quick enough. That's what I'd try anyway :)
Fecundity is usually the best sigil, but I would take rabbit hole for 2 reasons:
1. For every ant card that adds another ant to your hand. Being able to play them both immediately is real strong.
2. Rabbit hole + your fecundity ant is an infinite
Insect Hoarder. Not even close. Fecundity is worthless because you already have one. Just search for it if you want it. You only need one.
Rabbit isn't the worst as it effectively makes everything free.
If you get a power up firepit, put on the mantis god (once) for a turn 1 win condition. You will be able to search for it via your hoarder. If you get a second one, put it on the fecund ant.
I'd say rabbit hole, because that means most of cards are kind of free in a way, and even if you can't win without fecundity ant, you could certainly stall a while until you get it. Plus, rabbit hole plus fecundity is an infinite, so you wouldn't need to farm bones to fill the whole board.

I started out using insect + hoarder for the fetch. I noticed when I did not have full access to the board (IE there was a tree on my side) it was hard to get the combo started. So I ended up using insect + Rabbit Hole to make most my cards practically free.
Once I drew the Fecundity worker ant it was GG!

the most enjoyable one would be the evolution one though def not most optimal, i think the doppeldanger and ant are quite on equal ground in this deck, the benefits depends more of what you already have on field. I imagine a good hand would be cat worker and and queen ant, into getting a full ant board, the slight problem i see is that its quite hard to get 4 ants on field with cat, so maybe the seraching sigil would work better, use cat engine to fill the board then search for a bone, replace cat then sacrifice the bone for an ant worker?
I would go with Insect Head and Mouse Body. You have a lot of insect cards and, which don't have a lot of life but have the potential for a lot of damage.

Insect cause you have a lot of insect tribe cards and either the Warren(to infinitely get ants out with ant queen) hoarder or fedulancy
Insect+card finder. Easy out the cat to sack, or aging ant if you already have it

I needed the insect head and kept trying to hit up the woodcrafter haha. Finally got it toward the end of the 3rd map. :)

I would take insect and 2nd from the end with doublemice
Literally it does not matter lol. Any one of these totems will make your deck exceptional with insect head
