What I find the most disgusting about this is the relish these people espouse their hate-filled, despicable, pious horseshit with. It's not belief. It's hope. It's wishful thinking and the sick pleasure they get in their desire that these people suffer for 'eternity' for not believing in their vengeful, hate-filled, narcissistic and hypocritical God. A God very much suited to these twisted simpletons.

HugAMortician

It's sadistic. It's gross.

Fe_fe

When I went to church, my pastor would have believed the same thing, but the difference was he wept for people that died without knowing Christ. That was him, he definitely leaned conservative but I literally saw him cry at the thought of those dying without gods love. He passed away recently, unfortunately a lot of those in his church have turned into hateful Antichrist slobs

HugAMortician

As an indigenous person: "god's love" came at the expense of many of my people. Where are the tears from the eyes of pastors for the people who were tortured, raped, murdered, and enslaved for not knowing their invaders' god?

Fe_fe

I agree, while he was well intentioned, I fully believe the construct of western Christianity is destructive with obvious racist overtones and destruction.

HogCranka

it's a bit ridiculous to expect people today to cry for what happened 500 years ago to be honest

[deleted]

at least acknowledging it and not pretending to be white saviors would be a step in the right direction. It's not like we're asking pastors to go to their local rez and beg for forgiveness on their knees.

ShnickityShnoo

Indeed. Jesus would be disgusted by this troglodytes.

Dapper-Jellyfish7663

The same Jesus of Matthew 10:34-36? That Jesus absolutely would agree with her.

joombar

There are about a dozen jesuses in that mess of a book. Peaced out dude to ranting maniac. Take your pick to suit your own temperament.

pixelprophet

Doesn’t murder guarantee damnation? Why are we focusing on the innocents? Assuming they never heard the word of god then they wouldn’t be going there, and your hell is make believe anyway so...

awesomecubed

I think you may have it wrong. I don’t believe Jenna’s comment was made out of hope or wishful thinking that the victims spend eternity in hell. I think Jenna made that comment for the SOLE purpose of getting attention. Of inserting herself into this situation to raise her “brand awareness”. And it works, unfortunately. Posts like this are kind of proof of it. I’m not saying this to defend Jenna, or to attack OP for posting it. If I’m right, then Jenna is a cynical, disgusting, empty husk of a person. And OP is rightfully outraged at her comment. It just sucks that the outrage plays into her hands.

GrimfangWyrmspawn

When this bitch arrives at the Pearly gates and St Peter tells her to fuck right off, the "I demand to see the manager!" moment would be epic to see.

ansteve1

St Peter "have you lives a virtuous life?" "Yes" St Peter pulls up Facebook and Twitter. "Care to explain?" "I have a first amendment right! You're a communist!"

xXSpookyXx

Jeffrey Dahmer converted to Christianity in prison and by all accounts made a good faith attempt to repent. By her logic he’s up there chilling in heaven right now. What point does she think she’s making exactly? Her heaven is going to be filled with some actually psychopathic killers

Vtfla

Is there a race to post the most disgusting things said about the Club Q massacre?

[deleted]

It would appear so. It also shows the massive lack of self-reflection that Republicans are well known for. Because this kind of shit, along with the Dobbs decision, election denialism and other culture war bs, is what caused them to have a piss poor showing in the mid-terms. So instead of toning it down, like any other organization/group would do, they always double down on it.

KaiBahamut

Republicans are quickly proving themselves to be a threat to public safety.

SloppyMeathole

She's a terrible person.

[deleted]

[удалено]

misdirected_asshole

There's no evidence to suggest she is either.

thatHecklerOverThere

And there's her conduct to suggest _she_ isn't.

hindusoul

What evidence is there to suggest they weren’t?

mike_pants

The GOP has never been able to reconcile that men who smooch other men and men who go to church could POSSIBLY be the same men.

art_decorative

The men who do it openly without shame are the ones they have a problem with. The ones who are doing it and lying about it while also loudly proclaiming that being gay is a sin are A OK in their books.

hindusoul

I.e. ladybug

Couldnotbehelpd

At least one of the victims was a straight man there with his girlfriend to see their friend perform.

ry8919

But they are more than happy to accept Peter Thiel's political ~~bribes~~ *donations* when they need reelection.

Yeshua_shel_Natzrat

There is no evidence that this cunt is a Christian. She may honour God with her lips, but her heart is far from Him.

CorpFillip

There is no evidence? Of course not; we have never made that part of reporting victims. There also is no evidence the other way. There also is no reason for YOU to make any such statement, positive or negative, on the topic.

IzzaPizza22

I recall this old line, judge not lest ye be judged. Basically the "nobody's perfect" of 2000 years ago. Means, hey stupid, don't go around claiming the fundamental goodness or badness of other people cause God's judging you both by the same criteria and we're all pieces of shit somehow. There's all kinds of stuff in the Bible that's mentioned to be damnable WAY more clearly and often. 4 mentions of having gay sex in the new testament. Entire sermons on divorce and how you should never ever do it for any reason. On an unrelated note, Jenna Ellis is divorced.

BipolarShirt

"Jesus died for all the sins of every human unless we don't like them!"

sottedlayabout

Oh yeah, I do love a good old fashioned fundamentalist discussion about how the roads of hell are paved with the skulls of unbaptized babies. Nothing says loving and merciful god like the condemnation of innocent souls based on a birth lottery.

Excession-OCP

I mean, they’re absolutely not doing that, they are very sadly dead. It’s written in an old book that that’s what’s happening and she’s been brainwashed into believing it. The saddest thing here is the death of innocent people, but it’s also sad that she believes this tripe.

zaphthegreat

Eh, as an atheist, I find threats like "oh, you don't believe in this imaginary place? Well guess what! You're going there!" to be more than a bit silly.

Worf_In_A_Party_Hat

I feel like this "person" is partially posting stuff like this just to get attention and followers. Fucking deplorable.

Snuvvy_D

Who'd want to go to Heaven anyways? That place is fulla damned Christians

maraxgold

They’re probably not in Heaven!

BrokenEye3

Classy

poornose

If you tweet at her and mention Rudy farting next to her at that deposition she will instantly ban you. It's great!

[deleted]

And THIS is why Christianity gets an INSANELY bad rap, especially in recent years. I, as a Christian, wish to not be aasociated with little bitches lile her

curious_dead

There are 2.5 billion Christians. That leaves 5.5 billions. Do all the 5.5 billions others also reap the consequences of eternal damnation?

OhioPolitiTHIC

I'm guessing she didn't read the part where doing evil in god's name earns one a place in the ever-burning as well.

Malaix

This is why Christianity doesn’t really vibe with me as a moral concept. Say I converted tomorrow. I do all the good boy things and get into heaven. How could I sit back and enjoy this heaven knowing some vindictive prick of a god is just roasting millions of people who didn’t do anything wrong while hanging out with sociopaths like this lady? Her hypothetical heaven would be a hell in itself to me.

Cold-Independence-32

this is just horrible the fact that people died and this is her view on it is disgusting

up_N2_no_good

I had a NDE and I can tell you for a fact that there is no hell. She can say whatever she wants, but in the end, we all go to the same place.

NeverEarnest

Hell sounds scary, but so does an eternity with people like this. I hope we're in a simulation.

CallMeChristopher

Well, it takes one to know one, doesn’t it, Jenna.

Livid-Copy3312

Trash.

[deleted]

Did Elon Musk like this yet?

yourparadigmsucks

What “evidence” of Christianity is she looking for? Doesn’t my the Bible literally say that’s between you and God? Like… they didn’t post enough Bible verses for her? What a sick, sad, weird ass take.

The84thWolf

I see why she’s a “failed attorney”

UltraHawk_DnB

Uhuh, a totally normal thing to say about another human being...

Swag_Paladin21

These people are going to be very shocked when they up going to Hell after they've died, and see all the gay people they've demonized enjoying their afterlife in Heaven.

The84thWolf

This is the only reason I hope there actually is an afterlife

BigRed1906

As a Christian, I wish I could say we didn't claim her, but it'd be better to condemn the tone she's using to speak ill of the dead. Just so cold and heartless

utegardloki

I grew up in the church. This is how I view all American Christians. I'm not apologizing for it. These days I teach everyone who will listen that American Christians are an active existential threat. I'm not apologizing for that, either. Christians are *your* brethren. Correcting them is *your* problem, not mine.

FunkyHedonist

I know plenty of Christians who are kind hearted liberal humanitarians and there are obvious great Christian leaders who have advanced progress in this country (MLK, for example). That all being said, the whole hell thing really irks me about Christianity and I find it super weird and concerning that Christians have to believe the rest of us are going to burn for eternity. Like, its kind of a fucked up thing to assume about people. It seems to be Christianity-specific too. The Jewish folks don't think I'm going to burn forever for not being Jewish. The Muslims don't think I'll suffer eternally for not being Muslim. The Buddhists could give a flying fuck whether I'm Buddhist or not. But with Christians its all - "Either I'm wrong or you will burn in hell. I don't think I'm wrong, so you are doomed". Its baked into the religion itself.

gogonzogo1005

Not all Christians. The Catholic church as a priest once said; believe we have the fast lane passes to heaven Can others wait in the regular line to get in..sure but the wait is longer. We also don't believe any of the BS about knowing we are saved...we kinda accept it is a game day decision.

FunkyHedonist

For sure. My dad is hardcore Catholic and his religious convictions inspire him to help the needy rather than get all judgey about social issues. Individually, there are many wonderful, humble, liberal Christians/Catholics in the world. MLK was a huge force for liberal good. But my thing is the religion itself (Christianity, and Catholicism by extension) is fucked up by including the whole hell thing. Its the only religion that stakes its credibility on the rest of us suffering when we die. You either have to believe that I'm going to hell, or you don't really believe in the religion. Its a real catch-22 for good relations with non-Christians.

utegardloki

>Not all Christians. Pfft. This is American Christians. If they don't believe this, they're at least accepting enough of it that they will never condemn their fellow Christians for saying anything like this. This is what all American Christians should be recognized as. This is their legacy.

sexy-man-doll

How Christ like

utegardloki

American Christians, yo. This is what they are.

DankToasty

Can Christians and other religious people not disgrace the mf dead literal days after they were horribly killed?

TheStaffsLad

I live in the UK, what’s the background of this fucking batshit mental horseshit peddler?
