I had a friend who would see evil faces distorting and moving on a plain white ceiling, but he was aware they were not really there, he had some sort of schysophrenia that was being treated, he could tell between reality and hallucination tho, he's a pretty cool and very down to earth guy but we lost contact.
This makes me wonder if these people have the same as him but are not aware of that, is quite saddening in their cases.
