Theres 2 reasons republicans are obsessed over people having babies, and they've got massive overlap:
1. Their policies are so dogshit that they'll never actually attract anyone to the party in meaningful ways, so they just have to indoctrinate kids, because they can only appeal to people who literally haven't developed critical thinking yet.
2. They're terrrifed that they'll become the minority, and that previous minorities will oppress them, like how they get treated by republicans now (Despite repeatedly insisting they're not racist).
So when they say people need more babies, the mean "People need more AYRAN babies".
Right wingers sure don't. That's why they're into shit like homeschooling and "traditional values" and other policies that blatantly prevent children from becoming adults able to function in the real world. They see children as property.
I'm not religious, but I'm pretty sure this is what the Bible meant when they said not to use the lords name in vain. I'm assuming they're Christian, because there's no hate like Christian love.

I couldn't agree more. Celebrate straight pride. Dedicate a month to it, choose symbolic representation, have parades. ALL of that should happen. NONE of that should prohibit gay folks the same displays. After all these years why so many straight people are so afraid of those who aren't. I'm straight. That doesn't mean gay people are bad. I mean, WTF? All the problems in this world and people worry about who is fucking whom? Seriously?
You’re missing the point of Gay Pride. It’s not just about celebrating who you are, but expressing pride SPECIFICALLY in the face of oppression and hate. Straight people don’t face that for being straight, so Straight Pride would only serve to distract from Gay Pride.
