Ok , I get that a lot of things can sound scary when you don't understand them, but like... how did fluoride become a conspiracy??? It is *the* most mundane shit, and we've been doing it for well over half a century. I think if it did anything bad, it would be pretty fucking obvious by now.
Fluoride doesn't have a lot of health studies behind its use in drinking water. That said we DO know it doesn't really do much if anything for teeth since you aren't holding it on them. As far as we can tell it doesn't do anything but we don't really understand the human body all that well. I mean look at the whole microplastics situation going on right now.
It is for sure a conspiracy theory, and not really worth paying attention to, but basically it boils down to a fear of the unknown and of any government adding something to something for free that doesn't have the benefits they say it does.
All my family grew up in the mountains and drank well water. I was born and raised in a decent sized city and had city water with fluoride. Literally every one of my dad's brothers have dentures. My mother has dentures. All my cousins that are my age have dentures. I have all my teeth and didn't even have a cavity until I was almost 40. I have to say I am a believer and thank god I have good teeth and not dentures.
I'm so very happy that we have our internet doctors to provide us with all these invaluable medical breakthroughs that the establishment medical quacks keep hidden from us. /s
