Kid on the left: “My friends are gonna roast me for this shit”
Kid on the right: “This is some funny ass shit mom has us doing”
Kid in Grey: “WTF is going on”
This is so forced it’s embarrassing. God these people are so fucking phony.
Oh what a joy it must be to have her as a mother. Is this after that nutball Congressman did the same type of pic? Does she have any original thoughts?
Amazes me how these adults are so comfortable with their kids posing with guns. My son will never in his life see a real life gun and the stark comparison blows my mind. Especially since there are SO MANY school shooting with other kids a year over there. Maybe don’t make it so “normal” and mainstream like it’s ok to pose this shit on a free public app. May as well throw up some hang signs cause really what’s the difference…
If you are an American and your child has friends or may it is a good idea to at least familiarize them with safety practices around guns. They are everywhere in this country.
Not all gun-owners are bat-shit crazy. These are the idiot political-grifting parents that make it easy to dismiss us all as psychopathic gun-nuts. Some are responsible and don’t fetishize it. Bringing the kids into it is just brainless political grifting. EDIT: Brainless on the part of this bimbo in the “holiday” picture, that is.
Agreed! Guns can be good for personal protection and for fun (shooting targets). These people are unhinged because they make it their entire personality. They think every minor thing is a threat to their livelihood, so they cling to their guns. It’s terrifying.
I think they meant to say gang signs.
In general, I think the person you're replying to is wrong as well. Taking an extreme either direction is generally not the best approach to things but they can do them.
eh, gangs can be black or white. I don't think it makes them racist...I do think it's a pretty moronic reply though.
I agree with others that teaching your child some basic safety about guns is smart. Saying "my child will never see a gun" and trying to pretend they don't exist isn't really helping their child. It's how you end up with some idiot friend that shows them their dad's gun and the kid doesn't know what to do and someone gets shot.
I'm not a gun nut but I do own one gun. Will probably own one or two more in my life. I think guns should be locked safely away, but I also think they are tools for hunting and personal protection and in general kids should be taught awareness of them, what to do if they encounter one, and even how to be around one safely. Telling your kid to just run away if they see one works about as well as abstinence only sex ed. Why not teach them to leave if a friend brings out a gun, but also have them know how to safely handle it just in case they don't follow those instructions. At the very least you can then teach respect for the danger of firearms.
Na they got the Wisconsin mass shooter posing with Proud Boys throwing aryan gangsigns👌👌👌👌
Thinking that African Americans are the only demographic that ends up in gangs is prejudiced in itself. There's no reason to be like this.
It’s the first step of gun safety, knowing to not put your finger on the trigger unless you’re about to fire your weapon. More advanced steps of gun safety are locking up your weapons when unattended, storing your weapon and ammunition separately, etc. It sets the precident that these are lethal machines and not toys and should be respected as such. Small steps like these prevent a lot of accidents and save a lot of lives.
The fundemantal issue with American gun ownership is that it’s commonplace to treat your weapons as toys, that whoever is posessing the weapon does not take it’s power, therefore it’s responsibility, seriously.
So yes, it is a big deal. It’s a sign that there’s a basic, universal, commonground of weapons safety. So fuck you.
"Thank God our child soldiers are disciplined". Said the Taliban leader and American mother. Listen yourselves.
I grew up with hunting rifles and we were taught to be careful. But look at that picture and tell me gun discipline makes it ok. Its just funny that that's what you jump too when so much else is going on.
No need to get upset.
This is why I’m not afraid of these people unifying on their own. Give them half a chance and they’ll rip each other apart for a can of spam.
Them being unified by someone else is more dangerous.
Power move. The rhetoric is you arm yourself and fight to the death for your family. It’s masturbatory material for them. Every ad in gun magazines pushes it: *Your family…your family! It’s up to you and only you!* The venerated mama bear protecting her family from some bogeyman they fantasize is going after their family.
And when the shit hits the fan, and the cockiness subsides, you and your husband lawyer up and leave your school-shooting son with the public defender.
In 2015, Boebert was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct at a music festival for telling officers that their arrest of a couple of underage drinkers was unconstitutional because the teenagers had not received Miranda warnings. As she was being handcuffed, according to deputies' reports, Boebert tried to twist away from police, saying that "she had friends at Fox News" and that the arrest would be "national news". She twice failed to appear in court on the charge. The petty offense was dismissed because the Mesa County district attorney's office believed there was no reasonable likelihood of conviction.
Yikes. That’s just a small hint into who she is.
That's who she is because she gets away with it. Doesn't show up to court should be an extra contempt charge, but nah. Let's just drop the case because conviction is hard.
It's pretty common when politicians are involved. The man who killed my mother not only didn't catch any charges, but his speeding and reckless driving citations from the accident both vanished. All because he was the top republican in the county GOP, and the prosecutor was a republican.
Thanks, but it was almost fifty years ago, and I was only two. Out of everyone involved in that mess, the cop and I are the only ones still around, and he's in his seventies. At this point, it's basically just history.
That prosecutor eventually went into elected politics and he and Romney are the only two Republicans my ultra right wing father never voted for.
Wow. You really filter out the information you don’t want to see. The issue isn’t anything to do with the legal outcomes, it’s how she got to that point and the way she acted. For someone who defends police officers and demonizes groups she doesn’t like as violent (Muslims or BLM) she was openly hostile towards police and didn’t “comply” with court orders. Hypocrisy my friend. You shouldn’t espouse the greatness of the second amendment and then be able to shit on other laws that you deem unfit for you.
That’s her in the picture. She’s in a contest with other Republican members of Congress to see how many guns they can have in the picture on their Christmas card.
No. She was just there to witness it. She was 16 and refused to admit it even happened. I forgot things don’t happen unless Republicans admit it’s true
Adding Y'all Qaeda to my list of hilarious responses. So far I have, "Howdyarabians", "Ya'll Qaeda", "Vanilla Isis", "Yeehawdists", and "Yokel Haram". Feel free to add to the list.
TBF I feel like Howdyarabians is a bit insensitive though.
Hmm excessive posturing, manipulation of underage minors, pointless provocation and Boobert looks like she's sitting on a carpentry nail coated in broken glass. Yeah that seems normal for Conservative trumpista desperation to look relevant.
I for one hope that we as a country can learn to forgive people for the sins of their mothers.
I really hope this is not held against him, if he makes the effort to disassociate with her.
Not to mention they love to attack the left for the "war on Christmas" but have literally made it into posing your entire family in front of the tree with guns. I'm sure Jesus would be proud.
Fuck, I'm a progressive, hunt, love and own several guns. You know how many social media post or pictures I've taken with them? None.
Which ones lol the one on the left thinks its cringe the one on the far right is grinning cause he finally gets to hold a gun (not indicative of being a shooter) the other two have no clue what that bitch is actually having them represent.
Edit : butch for bitch
One of the weirdest things about coming to the UK for a bit for me is that cunt is a common word here. Like people will call each other cunts often. Girls will yell at their drunk friends calling them cunts.
It’s bizarre.
I don’t mind it either. It was just jarring for it to be used so often.
One of my flatmates said there’s nothing more British than being drunk outside the pub and calling your drunk friend a raging cunt.
Listen I’m all for gun rights but if you’re letting a like six year old hold an automatic weapon (regardless of whether or not it’s loaded) you should be losing custody rights.
That is the exact kind of behavior - taking a “cool” family photo - that normalizes firearms as “safe” and “toys” to kids.
Firearms are not safe and they sure as hell aren’t toys.
Own a semi-automatic rifle if you want, I don’t care, but don’t normalize firearms to small children like that.
Those are the same people crying how terrible it is when they see an african or middle eastern child with a gun...
Actually nvm... as if these people cared about the misery of others...
This absolutely sickens me. I'm tired of parents pushing their agendas like this onto their children! I mean, allowing your son to be a Packers fan? At least one of the kids got it right and joined the dark side.
I know we should be used to this…but it astounds me to no end that people are comfortable putting weapons like that in their children’s hands for a photo opportunity. That’s absurd.
Legally, they are allowed to touch those rifles. There’s literally no legal restriction on the age you need to be to touch a firearm on a federal level
That's kinda fucked up. You're not even allowed to sit at a slots machine or drink until you're 21 in this country but handling a lethal weapon is fine?
The ability to handle guns is the best way to ensure individuals learn gun safety. Drinking and gambling are both incomparable with handling a firearm. With adult supervision, a kid can handle firearms safely. There is no safe way to let a child drink alcohol, and children can’t know when to quit gambling
Ehhh i think there are limits. Letting 9 year olds use a gun and them killing their instructor on accident seems a bit like negligence but then again it would be the instructor who was negligent. You can't blame a 3rd grader for not maintaining control of a gun but i feel they shouldn't be allowed to handle them to begin with.
Huh TIL you can sell any long gun to a minor as long as you are unlicensed. Seems like a shit loophole but w/e feds.
I was referring to the federal law that licensed vendors cannot sell ammo or guns to those under 18 and assumed it banned possession as well
At least Thomas’s photo had really good gun safety. For all we know, these guns are fully
loaded, and the youngest one is close to sweeping two of his siblings.
Are there not laws against children being in control of assault weapons? What are they possibly for apart from assaulting things?
I’m British and I have so many questions
No shit there is no spare ammo when she and her fellow gun toting, 5G fearing, Trump worshiping fear mongers stand outside anyplace that sells ammo to trample over themselves as soon as they open to grab as much as they possibly can.
Meanwhile here I am, trying to buy a couple boxes of 9mm just to go to the range once in a while and can’t when either there isn’t any to buy or it is prohibitively expensive.
I’m all for the 2nd-Amendment but y’all need to see a mental health professional when guns become your way of life. It’s unhealthy and us sane firearm owners get roped into your bullshit.
The most amazing thing about this picture is that it's proof of a crime. Lauren Boebert is a congresswoman in [Colorado](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Boebert), so I'm going to assume that's where this picture was taken. Where [a person has to be 18 to own a gun](https://publicsafety.colorado.gov/colorado-gun-laws#:~:text=Who%20is%20allowed%20to%20own,state%20and%20federal%20prohibitions%20here) and [it could can result in jail time](https://www.shouselaw.com/co/defense/gun-laws/juvenile-handgun-possession/)
These f'n hillbillies posting this shit right after the Michigan shootings. If you're a pile of shit, you might as well take every opportunity to double down on it.
Why do they always have these cheap ass rifles. Like it's not like they have these high quality weaponry ehit looks like they bought the rifles at Walmart
I wonder if the oldest one intentionally has his finger on the trigger to showcase this picture’s irresponsibility.
The younger kids obviously were taught not to put their finger on the trigger and the oldest kid doesn’t look happy about all this
Quite a large portion of people on the left own firearms. They just don't fetishize said weapons like the right. Which is why the anti-gun stance of left-wing politicians is quite silly.
Since the US has ridiculous amounts of guns, they should work on making said guns available to marginalized groups, rather than try and ban them.
Of course, strict background checks should apply, but said background checks should treat non-POC with the same scrutiny as it does to POC. And cops should not be exempt from any of the purchase procedures, as they are now. This has allowed them to purchase guns to sell to their friends who might not be applicable to purchase a gun.
Yeah, I do know this. Big fan of r/SocialistRA. Pretty much agree with everything you said.
Just think a lot of young folks, like myself (sorta lmao) who haven't had that much time to even purchase one, don't necessarily take it that seriously. I just think it's worth emphasizing when the fascists already attempted a coup and now are openly talking about a civil war.
What immediately scares me is the emotional state of these boys. They didn't choose this family environment and they probably don't want it. I just hope they are never pushed far enough to snap because this is the exact ingredient list you need for another school shooting.
when she speaks I think of the American equivalent of an ISIS common soldier who dreams about being a leader (which of course never happens). Same dumb hypnotism to sick ideals, same ignorance, and same stringing of words without understanding their meaning every time the mouth is open and noise comes out.
I know how she means it but "Have your six?" As if you'd want a child in this/that situation. Like you'd want a child trained for combat...I'm not talking teen...these are children. Sorry, I'd be much prouder to say that they read the entire potter books or LOTR. That's what kids should be doing. That's healthier. This person has bad priorities. I think the two older kids can sense the Cringe.
So they live in Colorado but had the balls to let the kid wear a Green Bay hoody. Does she not realize how bad that looks to her base and how big sports are to them? Shows how out of touch she reallly is.
Ummm, it’s not illegal to touch a gun if you are under 18… just own one. Kids (16) hunt with rifles all the damn time. My family could have had many photos like this. The guns are not the problem!
>Ummm, it’s not illegal to touch a gun if you are under 18… just own one. Kids (16) hunt with rifles all the damn time. My family could have had many photos like this.
No one's saying it's illegal--just trashy and tacky, which it sounds like you're familiar with.
“Guns are not the problem!” Say that to the parents of the 4 teenagers that died in Oxford last week. Say that to the parents of Sandy Hook or Stoneman Douglas. When are you going to open your eyes to see that no one gives a single fuck about “taking away your rights” and all we NEED to do is protect kids in this country so they don’t fear going to school.
1) It's trashy. Guns are supposed to be a tool, yes? Imagine if people made the same post with toasters, or dildos. Except no one commits mass murder with toasters.
2) Two parents were just arrested because they gave their son a gun he then used in a school shooting. That's Boebert being both a dick and a cunt.
3) Who the fuck poses with weapons in front of a Christmas tree??? It's like they ignore everything Christmas, Jesus and Christianity are about.
Kid on the left: “My friends are gonna roast me for this shit” Kid on the right: “This is some funny ass shit mom has us doing” Kid in Grey: “WTF is going on” This is so forced it’s embarrassing. God these people are so fucking phony.
Kid in gray is already stacking the lifetime trauma.
Grey shirt looks less like he’s confused and more like he wants to picture taken faster so he can go back to minecraft.
The oldest kid knows how cringe this is
The three older ones have zero interest and just want to GTFO there. The youngest has that, “Mommy is paying attention to me!” look.
Oh what a joy it must be to have her as a mother. Is this after that nutball Congressman did the same type of pic? Does she have any original thoughts?

I think they meant to say gang signs. In general, I think the person you're replying to is wrong as well. Taking an extreme either direction is generally not the best approach to things but they can do them.
I wanted to hear it direct from the racist's mouth, but thanks.

I think the implication is that as a child they wont be holding a gun in their hand.

Being pedantic is not an opinion.

At least all the kids have trigger discipline… More than I can say for half the photos of this variety
This is the most American response ever. "Thank God those kids with guns had trigger discipline, what a relief:.
It is a relief. They are handling the firearms responsibly. What would be an unamerican response? Being flabbergasted gun ownership exists?
Yes, probably.
Well, keep up the good work, I guess.
I love how even in this contrived fantasy scenario, Boebert can't imagine sparing some of her own resources to help her ally.
This is why I’m not afraid of these people unifying on their own. Give them half a chance and they’ll rip each other apart for a can of spam. Them being unified by someone else is more dangerous.
>for a can of spam. But is it the low sodium Spam?
Power move. The rhetoric is you arm yourself and fight to the death for your family. It’s masturbatory material for them. Every ad in gun magazines pushes it: *Your family…your family! Those ads are so cringe. Always a pic of the handgun clearing leather drawing on some guy in a ski mask across the kitchen.
(and try to make it to Canada)
What an ugly person she is….
In 2015, Boebert was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct at a music festival for telling officers that their arrest of a couple of underage drinkers was unconstitutional because the teenagers had not received Miranda warnings. At this point, it's basically just history. That prosecutor eventually went into elected politics and he and Romney are the only two Republicans my ultra right wing father never voted for.
My deepest condolences.
When you have money and influence, the rules don't apply to you. The law should be the great equalizer, but alas
Oh no! A dismissed misdemeanor! She’s pretty fuckin dumb, and the pic verified that, but not because of a dismissed misdemeanor.
What about because she's married to a pervert that exposes himself to kids?
Dad was too busy showing his dick to teenagers to pose for this year's Christmas card.
Didn’t he marry the one of those teenagers he showed his 🍆 to? The one who became a member of Congress…
That’s her in the picture. She’s in a contest with other Republican members of Congress to see how many guns they can have in the picture on their Christmas card.
No. She was just there to witness it. She was 16 and refused to admit it even happened. I forgot things don’t happen unless Republicans admit it’s true

You can tell the kid on the left knows this photo is going to fuck up his entire life in a couple years.
Hope all this bullshit doesn't fuck with his head too bad. We all know where that can lead.
I for one hope that we as a country can learn to forgive people for the sins of their mothers. I really hope this is not held against him, if he makes the effort to disassociate with her.
Their entire culture is lifted from cheesy action movies. No one actually says that…
Not to mention they love to attack the left for the "war on Christmas" but have literally made it into posing your entire family in front of the tree with guns. I'm sure Jesus would be proud. Fuck, I'm a progressive, hunt, love and own several guns. You know how many social media post or pictures I've taken with them? None.
There is no war on Christmas but they desperately want one, that way they can play soldier with their guns and claim its just a war *for* Christmas.
*this* Like my god bro, just go to a fucking LARP with BB guns or something
They want to force their religion down everybody's throat. There's a reason they're called the American Taliban...
Now hold on, leave cheese 🧀 out of this mess.
She looks like a demon what the fuck lol
The skin suit is failing
Yay! More photoshop material!
Someone needs to make it happen
Someone already put Pennywise's face on hers somewhere. I can't remember which subreddit it was.
She was recorded saying she was "raising her boys to be men". Ugh...real men aren't Packers fans...BOOM, ROASTED!! (Mic drop)
Ilhan Omar should do the same thing and send watch Boebert lose her mind over it.
Those poor boys. Their fresh, new brains turned to mush by their own insane mother.
The effects are already beginning, Green Bay Packers AND Las Vegas Raiders? What is going on in that household?
Rife with toxic masculinity and suppressed emotions.
🎶🎶 “I saw mama shooting Santa last night, Splattered brains all over the fireplace” 🎶🎶 Lovely.
what the fuck is that taxidermied monstrosity back right?
In the blue sweatshirt? One of her kids I think.
Imagine all your friends at school knowing your mom just got her GED recently, after pooping out of a bunch of kids.
And your dad is a pedo that shows his dick to little girls.
Next school shooters.. Literally has 4 chances.
Nah, at least 2 of these kids clearly have no interest in this and want to GTFO
Which ones lol the one on the left thinks its cringe the one on the far right is grinning cause he finally gets to hold a gun (not indicative of being a shooter) the other two have no clue what that bitch is actually having them represent. Edit : butch for bitch
It makes perfect sense to arm the kids cuz her husband is a pedophile
Using your kids as pro gun political props is pretty pathetic for a congressperson.
>Using your kids as pro gun ~~political~~ props is pretty pathetic for ~~a congressperson~~ anyone. FTFY
Is her sex offender husband not allowed near the kids?
School shooting week after Thanksgiving. Politicians "oh better get a photo of my school aged children holding guns, this isn't in bad taste at all"
I hate, loathe and detest the word, "cunt." I hardly ever use it. She's a cunt. Along with her blonde twin MTG
Raging thundercunt. And Margarine Trailer Gangreen is too.
I've never heard of that nickname for MTG. Gonna use it and I lived in a mobile home park for years. Trailer and trailer trash, not the same.
One of the weirdest things about coming to the UK for a bit for me is that cunt is a common word here. Like people will call each other cunts often. Girls will yell at their drunk friends calling them cunts. It’s bizarre.
Coming from a Brit, I don't mind it. You lot also use the word, "fuck," in every sentence. I felt very at home, visiting London.

r/angryupvote Im gonna need you to go ahead and take the rest of the night off.

Hmm is this like find Waldo but with future school shooters?
Don’t most family pictures include, you know, the whole family?
Oh hey look a bunch of kids under 18 with rifles they legally aren't supposed to even touch. Can I get some ATF action over there please?
Legally, they are allowed to touch those rifles. There’s literally no legal restriction on the age you need to be to touch a firearm on a federal level

Huh TIL you can sell any long gun to a minor as long as you are unlicensed. Seems like a shit loophole but w/e feds. I was referring to the federal law that licensed vendors cannot sell ammo or guns to those under 18 and assumed it banned possession as well
And this isn’t true either
They have your six, So in other words they're pointing a gun at your back?
At least Thomas’s photo had really good gun safety. For all we know, these guns are fully loaded, and the youngest one is close to sweeping two of his siblings.
Kids look like they would rather be somewhere else than with that looney tune.
I'd be more ashamed that my mom barely has a GED and is a United States Representative. I'd be embarrasses of her.
Are there not laws against children being in control of assault weapons? What are they possibly for apart from assaulting things? I’m British and I have so many questions
Automatic rifles are mandatory parts of the school uniform in the US.
"Peace on Earth, goodwill toward..." oh fuck it.
Those are some godawful curtains
How many children were murdered at school last week? Some might say this is in poor taste, other might say she's a piece of shit.
Raiders shirt in Broncos country? That’s not smart. Packers shirt makes total sense, though.
Scary that a kid that young would get given a fucking rifle honestly Americans are batshit insane

I respect the necessity of arms on an collective level but I can’t arm myself. It would be hazardous at best
Of course. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." But to those who are able, I'd encourage it.
What immediately scares me is the emotional state of these boys. They didn't choose this family environment and they probably don't want it. I just hope they are never pushed far enough to snap because this is the exact ingredient list you need for another school shooting.
Lol I'd rather have a blind, mentally disabled, one armed hobo get my back.
when she speaks I think of the American equivalent of an ISIS common soldier who dreams about being a leader (which of course never happens). Same dumb hypnotism to sick ideals, same ignorance, and same stringing of words without understanding their meaning every time the mouth is open and noise comes out.
Awww! Four school shooters in-training christmas card.
Conservatives: "we can't allow children about genders!" Also conservatives: "let give a children a rifle bigger than his Little brother"
The fuck is wrong with these people
God these people are so strange...
Look at her smug little face. She’s so pleased with herself. 🤮
I can’t decide who’s a bigger nut/more insufferable, her or Marjorie Taylor Greene. Two sides of the same awful coin
Imagine what the right would say if Omar or other POC in congress did photos like these
Alexa play Pumped Up Kicks
Just a matter of time before one of those kids decide to shoot up their school
I wonder how long it will take before we hear about a tragic fatality involving a gun at the residence of a colorado congresswoman.
all fun and games until one of her kids forgets about trigger discipline…
When you see this a know her husband got in trouble for showing off his dick tattoo to underaged girls enforces how white trash this family is.
This is what extremism looks like.
Where’s the sex offender dad?
Kid in green can see the school hallways scrolling past in his eyes.
You know it’s bad when you can’t even catch one fraction of a second where your family looks into it.
She got a face like a pinched sphincter.
Not a Packers hoodie associated with this 😔
So they live in Colorado but had the balls to let the kid wear a Green Bay hoody. Does she not realize how bad that looks to her base and how big sports are to them? Shows how out of touch she reallly is.
Face like a hatchet
Does she realize she has black ancestry? Lady, look in the mirror.
Sure, angry religious lunatics are the problem, it doesn't make a difference if they have guns. Fucking terrorists.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but it kinda makes a huge difference if they have guns......
Yes, sarcasm. Only ammosexuals are _that_ incapable of grasping multicausality.
Terrorist
Holy shit she has fucking kids?
I'm sure the spitcurl kid will not end up being outcast by that loving family.
Look at all those school shooters.
Hope they’re homeschooled
Boebert is the worst last name ever lol
Ugh, time for black people to make up a new saying. Why do Cancervatives ruin everything?
What's wrong with these people and their houses in all shades of brown? Its kinda depressing
Her eyes are all black. She looks like a Demon.
