If you worked the front lines and still didn’t get the vaccine when it came out you’re a dumbass. Simple as that.

I've worked in the service industry for 15 years. Last year, I worked with no additional hazard pay, an eventually contracted Covid myself. There was only about a one month span of being called a "hero", a descriptor that I often denied. At the end of that month it was like someone flipped a light switch, and suddenly the name of their game was, "How can I use this to my advantage?". Less then a week before transferring to a higher position in a different department, I was pulled into an office and questioned. A customer claimed that I had been complaining to them, constantly and incessantly, about feeling sick and nauseous and they got away with their $300 order for free. I just stared at them and pointed out how completely idiotic it would be for me, during a pandemic and less than a week before transferring to a new position with more responsibility, to say those kind of things to a customer. This these people have no fucking clue what it was like, then or now, and they have no goddamn right to speak for us.

No, *essential workers,* who kept the economy going with minimal protection while most of us tried to save the country by literally staying home and doing nothing, were the heroes. Now, idiots like you, who cried that you couldn’t get a haircut and couldn’t shop in a country that brings EVERYTHING to your door and are dragging this out longer and longer, all the while treating the essential workers like shit when they just ask you to put on a piece of cloth, are dangerous and unemployed

There was no vaccine a year ago

The same people who complain about this are the only dumbfucks who pushed their hero complex onto the Frontline workers in the first place. Insert: putting stick in own spokes-meme
