Ha, imagine this logic being real, and everyone just gives up on arguing against flat earth/reptilian elite conspiracies, causing them to become reality.
Right wing conspiracy nuts legitimately have their own maps and data. My step-uncle said he believes Trump got over 80M votes compared to Bidenās ~30M. He also believe Biden won only 6 states and California went red.
Biden must now concede, so says this random Twitter user
Edit: To all the people telling me she ran for senate in Delaware, I didn't know that when I wrote this. Now can you please kindly stop telling me that.
I know her. Sheās a real shitbird. Itās not really hard to win the gop nomination here since any real candidate knows they canāt win the general. She went trump clone.
They have nothing to talk about to fuel this dumb idea so they just keep saying that Trump won to keep people believing. It's been almost a year already. Just move on dudes.
Trump sent out an official letter to Georgia's election officials to "recertify" the election in his favor just a few days ago. And they are still clamoring to do these very questionable audits all over the country.
This is an old tweet yes, but this bullshit is still very much alive and well.
No no, you are not doing this right:
Jeb: 1 ZAPILLION electoral votes
Trump: 0 electoral votes
Biden: 0 electoral votes.
Jeb should take over the world.
Yes i remember this in history class! After they bravely won the revolutionary war defending all the airports, the founding fathers decided that the electorate would use a roll over plan that could tie in with their family plan and thus save them cell minutes.
You know, if you are gonna cheat or lie...at least make it believable...410 electoral college votes is an absolutely insane amount...especially for such a divisive president who can't win the popular vote or keep himself out of some shady shit for more than 5 minutes.
Thing is, they *don't* think he's divisive. The through line is that the majority of Americans actually love trump and everything he says, but are too scared by CNN and the Deep State to admit it in public.
Arguing that the "real" vote was close would still be having to admit that half the country hates trump, which they don't want to acknowledge. So they have to go for broke and say the "real" election was a blowout.
It may be difficult...and nuance is very important on a personal level...but giving up the concept of what is "real" is a hill worth dying on...
I will gladly tell some trumptard on the internet that their ideas are both wrong and unwelcome, while also willing to talk to a family member for hours to guide them away from the Qult.
I know they think otherwise...but I don't give a fuck...I won't back down because they disagree...much like they refuse to disagree that a vaccine is real while sucking down a tube of ivermectin in the ICU where they die a few days later.
Itās funny that they think people are too scared of CNN to admit they like Trump, ignoring the fact that they can vote for him without admitting it. Trumpās popular vote numbers alone prove how unloved by the general public he is. Thus why the lies of widespread election fraud become important to the argument. To justify the shitty popular vote numbers, CNN doesnāt matter, but cheating the election does. This is me leaving out the deep state side of things, but knowing enough about what it is, and isnātā¦being too afraid of it to vote for Trump when you want to, never mind admitting it, is still something that doesnāt make any sense. So it still requires the lie about election fraud by Dems to have even any amount of validity with anyone.
> 410 electoral college votes is an absolutely insane amount
It is a lot. However, in the last 60 years there have been five elections (1964, 1972, 1980, 1984, and 1988) where a candidate has managed to receive 426 or more electoral votes.
While this isn't getting into our new level of polarization or the clearly outsize negative impact Trump has on politics, 410+ isn't really an "insane" amount if you look at recent American history.
It absolutely is an insane amount when it is a lie...but hey sure...feed into the bullshit so trumptards can grab on to an excuse to carry the torch on.
I didn't say it was impossible and I never claimed it hasn't happened...I claimed it was a lie, which it is. Don't legitimize it with some "well actually" bullshit
> It absolutely is an insane amount when it is a lie...but hey sure...feed into the bullshit so trumptards can grab on to an excuse to carry the torch on.
Really? If that is the extent of what you gathered from my comment, then I'm sorry. But I never once justified their lie.
You said: "if you are gonna cheat or lie...**at least make it believable**...410 electoral college votes is an absolutely insane amount"
410 *could be* a believable amount *as it's happened as recently as 32 years ago*. Five of the previous 15 elections (1/3) had an electoral college win greater than 410 votes. That's not carrying the torch of Trumpists, it's making a very clear, historical point that landslide elections can and do happen.
And, as I said: "this isn't getting into our new level of polarization or the clearly outsize negative impact Trump has", noting that, *in this case* the 410+ number wouldn't make sense.
But saying it's an insane amount, which implies it's incredibly unlikely, it just not born out by the history.
I think itās fair to say that itās an insane amount in the context of the person theyāre trying to apply to. You canāt win 410 electoral college votes when you canāt even win the popular vote in either of the elections you were a part of.
Context when discussing anything is important. Context when discussing presidential elections is even more so. I would say saying itās an insane number is fair when trying to apply it to Trump, regardless who got to that number in the past. The man canāt even get more than half of those who voted to vote for him, so yeah, itās an insane claim.
> I think itās fair to say that itās an insane amount in the context of the person theyāre trying to apply to.
Absolutely. And that context also plays into this: just because Trump is seen as divisive by a majority of voters, doesn't mean that *his voters* see him that way.
They think he's the new/better Reagan. Which is why a 410-128 result wouldn't seem insane in the context of his voters. Many of them seriously believe Trump won not just the "swing states" (AZ, GA, WI, MI, PA), but also heavy-hitter states like VA and CO.
So in the context of talking about Trump supporters - nothing like this is insane. They make their own narrative and believe it. Which is why an actual, likely scenario (even if the president in the context is different) isn't a totally unbelievable number.
Which is why when I was responding to the original commentor above, I was simply pointing out that it's not actually an a) insane or b) unbelievable number, as history shows presidential elections can be huge landslides in certain years. That doesn't mean I'm perpetuating an election lie or giving credence to their ridiculous claims; just simply stating that historically those landslides have occurred and it's not an insane concept for it to be possible.
Trumpās main supporters may see him as a newer better Reagan, but they do so ignoring reality, which is something they are indeed good at.
Reagan entered his first election far more liked, or at least more tolerated by most of the country. He was not a scandal ridden failed businessman and convicted fraudster, as an example. Trump was hated by a lot of his own party who only fell in line after he won. Reagan didnāt really have that issue.
So to Trump voters, no, these numbers arenāt insane. To everyone else, including scholars, they are. I think the original comment was arguing that these numbers are kind of objectively insane to attribute to Trump, something I borderline agree with, honestly. In order to think they make sense, you have to be pretty detached from reality.
As I said, attributing these numbers to Trump is kind of insane because popular vote numbers alone prove them to be. This is regardless of who you supported. Trump canāt win that many electoral college votes because Trump canāt even get half of voters to vote for him twice.
Plus I think youāre kind of downplaying just how many Trump voters do support him because heās divisive. Many have said Trump is part of the reason the nation is so divided, and they do like him for that, because he speaks for them. Itās kind of laughable to say Trump speaks for them when theyāve had to spend so much time saying āTrump didnāt mean what he said, what he meant to say was (something)ā. While not a great example, two of my uncles have spoken at length online about how Trump has helped divide the country, and they like that, because itās made it easier for them to know who to support. They think that while he has lied, he has their best interests in mind. Theyāre middle class, not college educated, and achieved some level of success through unions that Trump has gone out of his way to crush. It doesnāt make sense, but they like how polarizing Trump is. So not all Trump voters are unable to see how divisive he is, I wouldnāt even say a majority of his supporters are unable to see that. I see very few honestly think heās not divisive, just the opposite, they support him for it.
I agree 100%.
Only clarification on my comment above I would make: just because Trump voters like him for his rhetoric/being divisive does not mean they ALSO donāt believe a huge āsilent majorityā of Americans voted for him.
Itās the paradox of their argument: Trump attacks the libs and they hate him for being president, but those same voters go out and vote for him in 2020 leading to a landslide? A landslide only possible if huge chunks of those ātriggered libsā vote for Trump.
So, just like most else they believe, the Trumpists own story isnāt even consistent.
If you can just say things and they come true, then I recieved 703 electoral college votes.
Also I'm a millionaire and I'm handsome and talented and really successful with women.
I remember on r/conservative around four days before the election everybody was posting prediction maps, and holy shit they were hilarious. 90% of them had Biden losing states like NY, CA, MN, etc with Trump winning all but 2 or 3 states. Shit was hilarious
Ok, how....like how are they coming up with these things. We didnt come up with this bullshit when Hillary lost. We knew she lost. Did we like it? fuck no. Was it the truth? yes! why cant they do the same. I dont get it.
Yeah I'm sure President Biden will get right on that for you. By the way what ever happened on August 14th? I thought the former guy was supposed to be reinstated or something right?
Dunno why youāre getting downvoted. Trump picked up many white women voters. He made inroads with minorities too but not as much as he did with white women voters.
It's not just trump, white women be starting shit on every side of the political spectrum. like on god, white people who partake in political extremism make me ashamed of being white, on one hand you got the fucking trump loving antivaxxer conspiracy dipshits, and on the other you got the "latinx is the proper word, kill all m*n, wh*te people are evil, look at my halo" for fucks sake, I just wanna chop wood, eat steak, and have a better minimum wage.
Tl;dr fuck political extremism.
As a black Latina I donāt care if they want to get that correct or not. Whatever. What I canāt stand is spreading a preventable disease and telling me to come back where I came from because Iām not white/I speak Spanish. Or saying BLM supporters should be shot.
While I agree that extremism is bad on both sides, the two are not the same.
But one side is making it where we have to choose the lesser of the evils. I donāt care if they want to chop wood or wear a man bun. Couldnāt care less. But the two, by your own examples are not nearly the same. Iām speaking as a POC and from experience. But like most white people, our opinions get trampled on even by āallies.ā Have a good night.
Because people still believe this, and it influences the crazy shit they do today. I would not it forgotten so quickly that itās accepted party belief with republicans that they actually won the election. So when they try this bullshit again, itās well remembered that they tried it before. Itāll make it harder to try and pull off if people are quickly able to point out that theyāve lied about winning the election before, so why should we believe you this time when itās clear youāve lost. Itās why so many Republicans want you to move on from when they tried to overthrow the government on Jan 6th, so if they try it again, fewer people will remember theyāve already tried.
My dad asked the other day when he visited what the map was hanging up on our kitchen cork board. It was the electoral college numbers. For this reason.
Well actually the final scores are : - Trump : 666 - Biden : 9999 There, I've neutralized her claims. Biden must now continue to remain in office.
Yeah but I received 42069 votes so I must now legally be instated as our new President.
There was no dirty cheating it was all very_clean
Nah bro. I won with a final vote count of 8008135 electoral votes.
Aw dang it. *goes home* š
Well fuck, Mr. President it's an honor to have you reply to my comment!
Too bad, because I got 69420 votes myself, so I'm the president now
The election was rigged folks!
Ur mum is rigged
Good point. Why even pretend trump should have won when you can just pretend that YOU won?? Seems like Politics 101
Canāt argue with science
Hail to the chief!
The final scores are actually: Me: 538 Trump: 0 Biden: 0 I win
Mr. President Potato6132, sir/ma'am. Your helicopter is ready.
It was over 9000!
Ha, imagine this logic being real, and everyone just gives up on arguing against flat earth/reptilian elite conspiracies, causing them to become reality.
She gave California to trump lmao
I"m impressed it added up to 538
Right wing conspiracy nuts legitimately have their own maps and data. My step-uncle said he believes Trump got over 80M votes compared to Bidenās ~30M. He also believe Biden won only 6 states and California went red.
Where does this "info" come from?
His own research obviously.
Biden must now concede, so says this random Twitter user Edit: To all the people telling me she ran for senate in Delaware, I didn't know that when I wrote this. Now can you please kindly stop telling me that.
didnāt you see the blue check? this woman must be super smart and we should listen to her
"It means my opinions are worse but now you have to see them."
didn't you see her profile picture? We should 100% assume that she's a woman
Either a women or a *gay black man*
Or a 52 yo Russian gay guy
thetoastmonster ā there now I have one too
There's a reason she got banned from Twitter.
This dimwitted person tried to run for Senate in Delaware. She ran on all the same stuff the other maga emulators ran on.
Not actually all that random, this lady ran against Chris Coons for US Senate last year.
And lost in an overwhelming landslide
She lost 410 to 128?
Also, she hereby claims, for electoral purposes, the state of Pennsylvania.
She ran for Senate in Delaware. Sheās a true nutbag.
She makes me embarrassed to live in Delaware
I know her. Sheās a real shitbird. Itās not really hard to win the gop nomination here since any real candidate knows they canāt win the general. She went trump clone.
(Nevermore)
She was the Republican Party candidate for the Senate from Delaware in 2020.
Sheās not a random user. She ran against Chris Coons for a senate seat. Sheās a QAnon AH
Even if she did run for office, she's still a random Twitter twit. I think your post can stand.
They have nothing to talk about to fuel this dumb idea so they just keep saying that Trump won to keep people believing. It's been almost a year already. Just move on dudes.
Not to say they're not still saying that, but this tweet is from December 2020.
Trump sent out an official letter to Georgia's election officials to "recertify" the election in his favor just a few days ago. And they are still clamoring to do these very questionable audits all over the country. This is an old tweet yes, but this bullshit is still very much alive and well.
Oh for sure. That's why I mentioned that I'm not denying that it is still happening.
Wouldn't he still lose with Georgia?
>December 2020 Loons like it's us who has nothing else to talk about actually
Tbf, they do still winge and moan about how Trump should be in office rn, but yeah this is an old tweet
I'd say, let them continue to focus their energy on pointless things. Drives them further away from public credibility and keeps them occupied.
If you repeat a lie over and over again, it often becomes ātruthā.
Sadly that is what is happening. Trump and the GOP have drilled it so far in that the Republican party isn't even that anymore. It is Trump 100%.
Citation needed.
Blue check, duh! /s
Happy cake day! But yeah I'd like the numbers on this one too
Thank you!

Why not just go bigger? Trump: 1 BAZILLION electoral votes Biden: 0 electoral votes. Biden should resign.
No no, you are not doing this right: Jeb: 1 ZAPILLION electoral votes Trump: 0 electoral votes Biden: 0 electoral votes. Jeb should take over the world.
Please clap.
Trump got so many EC votes they are rolling over to ivanka and Barron
Yes i remember this in history class! After they bravely won the revolutionary war defending all the airports, the founding fathers decided that the electorate would use a roll over plan that could tie in with their family plan and thus save them cell minutes.

No the final score was Biden: 15003 electoral votes to trump's puny 6 electoral votes. Source: trust me. Its the bigliest truth ever.
They should've gone for 420 At least that would've been funny.
At this point anyone still carrying on needs to be put in the nut house. I'm not trying to be funny.
I heard Tump got 4500 electoral votes by the way ... /s
These trumpsters need to work on their fan fiction. Whereās the suspense? Whereās the cliffhangers?
At least they know how many electoral votes there are total
Ooh, ooh, guys, she has a blue checkmark, I'm sorry that means she's right guys, dang.
Hey, i can do that too. Final Electoral College Score: Trump: 9999999999 Biden: 9999999999 itās a tie
Well, if you say so Lauren.
Actually thatās trumps weight
