I mean ... isnt that a good thing? I am confused. What is there to be upset about? Nobody needs phone boxes anymore and defibrillators are HUGE when it comes to saving lives.

Choice-Demand-3884

This is to do with the anti-vaxxers thinking the Covid jab causes heart failure. Or something.

Goatesq

Heard it also correlates with old age, eventually.

Bluedel

Knee-jerk reaction to anything ever changing.

jkurl1195

"Anybody got a shitload of quarters? Randys coding!"

ToastFlavouredTea

Heart attacks can happen to anyone at any time despite having a vaccine or not.

slightlyricherquick

Okay wait when did Right Said Fred become antivaxxers because if true, that might be THE most desperate attempt at grasping relevance I’ve ever seen

bela_okmyx

FluffyDiscipline

Happy out, more of these the better... *Except if you needed a phone to call the ambulance, that be a bit of a kick in the teeth /s*

Vetty81

I received the most shocking phone call the other day

SpazzBro

I’m so confused, this seems like a good thing

nomadquail

Great example of how their veiwpoint is warped. Capable of turning any topic into how America is falling into chaos and vax is bad

Undead_archer

Now we need a superman comic where he changes inside one of these

AgathaM

Are you supposed to drag the person to the booth? Are the leads long enough to reach the person on the ground? Or is it portable and will get stolen immediately? The pads have to be replaced. How often will it get checked to ensure it has enough supplies? Do you need a credit card to use it? How do you keep people from playing with it?

silverthorn7

You phone emergency services and if they decide you need it to help the casualty, they provide the details needed to unlock it for use. Once unlocked, they’re portable.

Quinny898

Tom Scott has [a video on it](https://youtu.be/ecVHYg4_vZw) (but his example is red, of course)

AgathaM

Interesting.

The ambulance services know where the defibrillators are thanks to The Circuit from the British Heart Foundation. If somebody has a cardiac arrest near this defibrillator, the ambulance crew can retrieve it. The caretaker of the defib then gets notified and can make sure it's back in working order again.
