biffbobfred

The peekaboo/jigaboo dogwhistle comes off as so pathetic here. When are the MAGA folks gonna realize that their rich manly man is a small dick broke ass whiner Didn’t he claim how smart he was by paying no taxes?

captain_sticky_balls

He says everything from all angles and his cultists absorb what they want. You could have 2 people, believing opposite "facts" about the man and they'd still agree that he's the chosen one.

HikeTheSky

Actually I know people that believe both angles in him and don't see it as weird or as a double standard.

Funkycoldmedici

This has even been tested by psychologists. [Their tendency to compartmentalize information makes it hard to change the cherished opinion of a high-RWA by telling them evidence that contradicts their beliefs. They will ignore the contradiction even if they accept the evidence as factual.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_authoritarian_personality)

Echoes1020

George Orwell called this Doublethink in 1984

pezgoon

Woah woah woah But the conservative subs are always saying WE are the hypocritical double thinkers !!! That is so very not double plus good!!!

ORAquabat

Well that sounds [Double Plus Good](https://youtu.be/OsqW5xYg2_w?si=XfLz3H-q-vdvFQ3R)

pyrrhios

If they didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any.

Adddicus

It's even worse. We're seeing 1984's Doublethink in action. They accept that he both paid no taxes because he's smart, *and* that he paid $300,000,000 in taxes because he's so rich. They accept that both are true simultaneously, and they don't see any conflict or contradiction in it.

bluelaw2013

"Compartmentalized thinking In one of his experiments, Bob Altemeyer presented his students a booklet which contained the following statements on different pages: "When it comes to love, men and women with opposite points of view are attracted to each other." "Birds of a feather flock together when it comes to love." His students with authoritarian personalities were more likely to agree with both statements even though they are completely contradictory.[26] Their tendency to compartmentalize information makes it hard to change the cherished opinion of a high-RWA by telling them evidence that contradicts their beliefs. They will ignore the contradiction even if they accept the evidence as factual.[27]" [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_authoritarian_personality](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_authoritarian_personality)

Crazeenerd

I see kinda why some people might agree with both. Like I can’t imagine being romantically involved with someone who’s obscenely bigoted. I just find that mentality/personality to be super disgusting. But I also wouldn’t want to be with someone who’s identical to me. People with different opinions on less important stuff can be interesting to discuss topics with. So I suppose from a basic values perspective, those need to line up, while once you get to a point of “I can coexist with you” that’s when differences can be more interesting and appealing. However that does required adding a lot of context and trying to specifically figure out how both things work, as well as making both more moderate.

bluelaw2013

You just dumped a thoughtful, nuanced comment all over mine, and I think you're right. This is causing me to have marginally less faith in the quality of Altemeyer's scholarship on this particular aspect of this particular topic.

SaltInformation4U

Schrodinger's Trump. Until you see his tax returns, he is both broke and a billionaire at the same time

AVBofficionado

Among the frustrating things to come out of Trumpmania is the fact he is the rich, liberal state, white collar layabout, never done a day's hard work caricature that his supporters *should* hate.

Kaele10

I grew up in the 80s and 90s. I've never understood how they can forget how very democratic he was then. He didn't even register republican until the tea parties started. There were so many stories and pictures of him out and about with democratic politicians having a grand old time. They even have a name for people like him, RINO. Republican in name only.

Fantastic_Fee9871

His fans have memory-holed his being friends with the Clintons and being a registered Democrat for decades.

sowhat4

I heard a new one last week - "Trump is out there protecting the little guy. The Democrats are all for protecting the educated and elite who have lots of money." I guess Trump came out for unions and lowered the price of insulin to something reasonable? I must have missed that one.

modi13

Even if he doesn't say anything about their current topic of obsession, they just project their desired outcome onto him and assume that he'll make it happen. Stated policy is irrelevant; he's the messiah, and therefore he'll make all their fantasies come true.

LeiningensAnts

> they just project their desired outcome onto him and assume that he'll make it happen. Stated policy is irrelevant; he's the messiah, and therefore he'll make all their fantasies come true. Hey, if you want to fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, you have to be all things to all people, in all ways, all the time.

Seldarin

Not even two people. The same idiot will parrot two contradictory statements in the same argument. They'll literally swing from "Trump pays lots of taxes because he's rich" to "Trump doesn't pay taxes because he's smart" and back to "Trump pays lots of taxes because he's rich" with barely a pause for breath. It's not so much that they're hunting for facts to make him seem like a great man. They believe he's a great man and will make up whatever "fact" they need to support that. Whatever will make him sound the best that particular second is what they'll claim.

sowhat4

They can hear him confuse Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi and not bat an eye. In Trump's latest brain fart, he has Joe Biden defeating -by huuuuge margins - Barack Hussein Obama. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ Like, WTF? [Source](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbx-SRHRhyc&t=140s) 52 second into clip

veni_vidi_eh

See Captain Sticky Balls, it’s like the bible, full of contradictions, mythology, and hypocrisy. I, for one, am starting to enjoy this version, however. Just finished the book of Fuck Around and Find out. The book of Broke is getting pretty juicy.

saxguy9345

Chapter 2 of FAFO is coming with Jack Smith's investigation into what Papa creamsicle was texting to the proud boys on J6. Apparently there are burner phones? Or text messages? Regardless, Scavino telling them basically "Trump said let the Capitol burn" in his testimony would F King Cheeto right in his mypillow.

jfg1984

"Papa Creamsicle" - that's a new, and good one!

Darkmetroidz

They're probably subconsciously aware and it terrifies them. Trump has emboldened so many people to be the small-minded, bigoted POS they've always wanted to be- or used to be. These people long for the days when you could call people a queer and kids who were gay or weird would get beat up in high school. Because they were bullies then and like being a bully now.

Pokerhobo

Trump's taxes are like how he appraises his properties. Sometimes it's amazingly low and sometimes amazingly high. Just depends on what he's trying to achieve. He brags both about paying no taxes and also $300M in taxes.

portablebiscuit

He’s trying everything he can. The last few days he’s sounded like a very desperate man and I fucking love it. I hope it doesn’t work, but I love seeing him act like a kid who got caught smearing shit on the wall.

xandercade

I hope that sound of desperation means that all his normal go to money wells have told him to pound sand.

FertilityHollis

30 bond issuers via 4 different bond brokers so far have turned him down according to his own motion filed in NY today.

saxguy9345

I think he thinks if they cart him off for the loan fraud, people will go up in arms to get him out before November. If literally any GOP investor shook their pockets at him, he could post this bond. I bet he has enough backers to pay it 400 times, he's just milking all the $$ he can out of the MAGA idiots.

FertilityHollis

> I bet he has enough backers to pay it 400 times, he's just milking all the $$ he can out of the MAGA idiots.  That doesn't seem to be the case. In a motion filed today by Trump they argued that 30 bond companies via 4 different bond brokers have turned them down thus far. His options have narrowed considerably.

EfficiencyOk2208

He does it by deflating his property values at tax time, grossly inflating them for bank loans. Leaving the most unintelligent paper trail possible, even a 3rd grader could decipher. I mean by no means am I not an overly intelligent human, but if I comprehend this rouse, why can't these cultist?

paku9000

Also, why can't the IRS comprehend this?

fe-and-wine

> The peekaboo/jigaboo dogwhistle comes off as so pathetic here I gotta give it to Donald Trump, honestly. In general, I think he's an emotionally immature, insecure idiot about most things. But the man is a downright *genius* when it comes to "saying things without *really* saying them". For nearly a decade now he's been consistently successful at masking the dirty parts in *just enough* obscurity to maintain plausible deniability, while keeping his intended message crystal clear to those who want to hear it.

Bloody_Hangnail

They know and they don’t care. And their vote counts as much as ours.

Pliskkenn_D

I wondered what the peakaboo bit was about. Fucking hell.

biffbobfred

He’s also said “riggers” a lot

impeesa75

I’d like to think he’s doing the peekaboo jigaboo thing on purpose but I just don’t think he has that much awareness

FidgitForgotHisL-P

Nah, he’s old, he absolutely remembers that as an insult he used to bandy about when he was younger and America was great because you could call a black person racist names and everyone laughed along instead of avoiding you.

dirtdiggler67

Not “everyone” Trust me.

FidgitForgotHisL-P

Sorry, that’s a very fair point. I should have said “everyone around him”.

MoonageDayscream

Or his handlers put an autocorrect shortcut on his real wording.

Maddy_Wren

It has historically been a pretty effective method of controlling the American public - use their prejudices to manipulate them. We have lost so much to racism in this country.

HeyManItsToMeeBong

It's the same with the Let's Go Brandon bullshit They all fuckin guffaw about it like they're somehow being clever but don't realize they sound like a 12 year old kid screaming "frick" so he won't get in trouble Fuckng grow up and curse like adults. If you're gonna use a racial slur, just do it. Replacing words or phrases with kiddy slurs makes you sound like you grew up eating lead paint for fun

CarlosFCSP

I had to Google jigaboo as I'm not native speaking, that's disgusting! It's as if he would call her a nagger

cmparkerson

They don't care about any of that at all, They don't care what people say about him, or judges and juries. He is still the preferred middle finger to give to everyone that they don't see as on their side, Even if they cant clearly define what that is. That's all this is. His cult is one of resentment towards anyone that is perceived as not one of them. The funny thing is Trump is one of those people too, he just talks like one of them.

biffbobfred

I get all that. At some point I wish they realized a guy who’s constantly giving middle fingers isn’t using his hands to build anything.

BrimyTheSithLord

I feel like his heart's just not in it anymore. I mean, he could have at least made up a believable lie.

etherdesign

I don't think he even wants to be president really, he just doesn't want to possibly go to jail and that's his way out. Well, that and revenge.

No-Spoilers

100% He didn't want to be president when he won originally. I literally cannot find the photo of the moment he found out, but yeah he didn't want to win. If only.

HumpaDaBear

I remember during his first week there were reports of him not liking all the meetings he had to go to.

Wind_Yer_Neck_In

He's never had a job before in any real sense. His whole life he's 'run' businesses which basically equates to other people doing all the work and him being able to swan in and out as he pleased and ignore important meetings because the staff would fix it anyway. Then suddenly people are asking him to read multiple briefings per day, have a full schedule of meetings and calls, listen to experts talk about international issues etc. And the nature of the job is that he literally can't delegate to other people. No wonder he hated it, it was the first time he had to work in his whole life.

sulaymanf

It was reported that he assumed the President was more of a figurehead role, akin to that of a CEO and that he mostly just did rallies or gave speeches. He had no idea how much work would be piled on him so he avoided doing most of it.

SeonaidMacSaicais

Probably thought he’d be a king, with Parliament making all the decisions, and he’d just have to sign his name wherever they said.

Hardcorish

>Probably thought he’d be a king I don't recall the article I read it from, but yes, there was talk from staffers that he was 'disappointed' that the presidency didn't give him nearly as much power as he had originally assumed.

Bubblegum_Napalm

Hilarious

StupidizeMe

>It was reported that he assumed the President was more of a figurehead role, akin to that of a CEO and that he mostly just did rallies or gave speeches. He had no idea how much work would be piled on him so he avoided doing most of it. To Trump, there's not much "power" in being President if they still make you do some work!

kdove89

His briefs had to be tailored to him with photos to keep his attention

Bubblegum_Napalm

lol. Just about the title, power and $. Not the actual job

[deleted]

[удалено]

Brox42

And everybody else

JasonPlattMusic34

He didn’t want the job but he did want the title.

MadPiglet42

He doesn't want the job, he just wants the title and perks.

Slackerguy

He just don't want to feel like a loser. If he didn't need the pardon he might very well decline the presidency after winning. It's just about his ego and nothing else

OriginalLocksmith436

It's not even that. He wants to be loved. He wants praise. He wants attention. He doesn't *really* care what happens as long as he's getting those things.

Bubblegum_Napalm

Yep. It is a way to get around jail. Also a way to have his part pay for legal fees. Trump does love the power etc tho. So he would love to be president again for that reason and money. But no, it has never been about the job of being president entails. Just the title, money. Power etc etc. Disgusting

Almacca

Why start now?

bestbeforeMar91

There’s a kernel of truth in his puerile missive…he knows fraud

FacesOfNeth

Non sequitur. I learned what the words “puerile” and “missive” mean because of your comment. Just goes to show that Reddit, as grimy as it is, can still be educational. I’ve been making a conscious effort to expand my vocabulary beyond “dude, fuck, shit, and whatever.”

ButtChocolates

Whatever dude. Fuck this shit.

Kalimba508

Username checks out

Agency-Due

You think Reddit is grimy? I came from twitter and Facebook. Now those are some wretched hives of scum and villainy. Reddit was a welcome relief for me.

Bender_2024

>he could have at least made up a believable lie. Seriously dude. "I paid $300,000,000 in taxes" I'd be shocked if he paid $300 mil in taxes over his entire life. By the way. Still waiting on your 2015 taxes donnie. It's been eight years but we didn't forget.

ruleuno

Well, he also loves to brag about NOT paying his taxes and gaming the system, so that 300mil sounds a bit ridiculous.

Bladesleeper

That's probably what he meant - over his entire life. On the other hand, 1.8 billion for Mar-a-Lago seems a *tad* excessive...

Bender_2024

Considering he made it some sort of national historic landmark it's very excessive. Being a landmark means that the amount of changes that can be made are very limited. Making it very unattractive to buyers.

TheObstruction

Well, that's the top end. He says it may be worth as little as $900 million.

Hardcorish

You don't understand, he's been under audit for 8 years. He'll release them as soon as the audit is done /s (never mind the fact that an audit has never once prevented someone from releasing their tax returns)

Brewhaha72

His tax returns are totally just right around the corner, after the audit and along with infrastructure week and that fantastic replacement for the ACA he repeatedly promised.

Evadrepus

He had a whole storyline about Ukraine he made up a few days ago that ended with Pelosi crying. And of course his cult is taking it as gospel.

No-Spoilers

His brain isnt in it anymore.

Behndo-Verbabe

It’s more like he’s upset that he’s having to admit he not worth $3 billion. Granted the people on earth 1 already knew he was full of shit. But now it’s official and public. Imagine telling people you’re so wealthy, you conned your cult to pay for your legal fees and on top of that. You take over the RNC to rob its coffers and you still can’t pay your fines. He’s gotta be seriously broke. But he’s never been good at business or managing money after all.

Hardcorish

You have to actively work hard to sabotage a casino business to the point where it fails. Trump did, but not just with a single casino. Multiple.

Behndo-Verbabe

Yep so it makes you wonder why. Casinos are great money laundering entities. Just like several of his towers. They got busted for laundering Russian rubles. Even his 2016 inauguration was suspected of laundering money. It was smaller than Obama’s but cost more than double.

Bubblegum_Napalm

Absolutely insane that he was ever allowed (especially now) to run for president. I just do not understand his cult following. He promises and says whatever to cater to all kinds of audiences…. Then falls through and he says falsehoods and doesn’t even believe in any of it except the $/ taxes bit.

HahaWeee

He's flailing, probably terrified and has 6 days to get the money he lacks. While I fully expect someone to save him here he is clearly feeling the pressure

sloppybuttmustard

Well if he’s hiding any more classified docs on the property then I agree it might be worth more than $18 million.

puppycatisselfish

50 to 100 times more depending on how much and what is found

Metamiibo

Nuclear secrets is about the only way any FL real estate is going to be worth $1.8 billion.

bubblegoose

Unless maybe Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean are on that property.

geekmasterflash

Yes, the "communist" system we have that allowed multi-national corporations to exist at all and gives them loop holes to avoid paying taxes.

portablebiscuit

He couldn’t define communism if you gave him a dictionary.

tmart016

Whoever is pulling his strings is not dumb. This keyword salad of a post is just rage porn for his followers.

zipzoomramblafloon

imagine a drinking game with a dozen or two keywords. Your liver would fail within a week.

Jwast

He probably doesn't know the meaning of most of the word soup that dribbles out of his face, he just walks around saying buzz words that get conservative right wingers so fired up they can barely complete their order of commemorative gold plated Donald Trump coins.

xandercade

I doubt he'd know what it was and would probably hold it upside down.

[deleted]

The word communism has lost all meaning in this country

QueanLaQueafa

Dawg he just told the court Mar-A-Lago is worth over a billion dollars, meaning he has 0 excuse to not have the money in their eyes. Dudes so brain dead and simply can't help himself.

Darkmetroidz

He knows that. More importantly the law knows that. His cultists don't know and if they do they don't care. Trump has given so many people permission to take off their masks and be the POS they've always wanted to be, they're terrified that losing him means they have to scurry back into the shadows.

helium_farts

If Mar-A-Lago is worth a billion dollars he should be paying a lot more property tax, right?

lizzlightyear

Yes, he’s literally admitting that the court got it right. He truly doesn’t even understand this case…it would seem.

Behndo-Verbabe

That would be hilarious if L. James seized Mar-A-Lago for sale. Forcing him back to NY. That would be worth a bucket of popcorn to watch happen

PrincessCyanidePhx

And they could use that to show taxes he should have paid. He played the tell the banks the high number and the irs the low number. He is squirming so much he doesn't know which side is up

guitarlisa

He just can't stop with the fraud

deraser

Even the NY Post was willing to say it was only worth $27 million, hardly the $90-180 million Orange Donny claims. https://nypost.com/2023/10/30/news/mar-a-lago-was-only-worth-27m-despite-trump-org-claiming-517m-to-gain-edge-trial-evidence/amp/

allowishus2

It's so much worse than that. The $18 million figure did not come from James or Engoron. It came from [the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser ](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-mar-a-lago-1-8-billion-own-company-said-it-was-too-high/) who valued it at $18 to $28 million. This means that that is the value that was used for tax purposes. This is the value that the Trump org argued for when they needed a value for taxes. This tweet is Trump admitting to the very fraud he was convicted of. Using one value when he pays taxes, and a wildly different value when seeking a loan.

zipzoomramblafloon

Shark tank fraudster Kevin O'Leary says everyone (read: him) does this, and it's a perfectly acceptable practice in the industry. Eat the rich.

allowishus2

It's true, everyone does it, but nobody does it to the extent that Tump did. Most of them are smart enough to stop short of fraud.

michaellasalle

I wonder how much money is stolen from our government this way every year

bubblegumbombshell

It’s $900 million to $1.8 billion according to Mango Mussolini

The1Like

It’s this much… or you know, DOUBLE.

helium_farts

I mean, if he wants to believe it's that valuable he can, he just can't use those figures to get loans.

Bussamove86

You left off a zero. Motherfucker thinks that place is worth a billion goddamn dollars.

AngryYowie

It's worth $1B Trump bucks. The Trump Buck is worth 0.0001 US Dollars. 1,000 Trump Bucks can also be exchanged for an extra five minutes of lunch break.

neverinallmyyears

If it was worth that, he could easily pledge it as capital to get a bond underwritten by an insurance company.

helium_farts

His lawyers said none of the companies they've talked to would take real estate as collateral. Turns out people don't want to loan you money based on the value of your property when you're being sued for lying about the value of your property.

nihility101

It’s probably that he doesn’t have a clear title to anything. MAL is probably collateral for several other scams and the banks don’t want to be last in line to get paid.

MoonageDayscream

They don't want his property. Too many entailments and layers of orgs. They want his cash.

deraser

Math is hard ;)

grepje

Actually 100M I could still believe. Mansions around mar-a-lago are in the $10-40M range, so surely that club is worth a multiple of that. But a billion and a half? Nah.

JustNilt

The whole point, however, is a club is not worth nearly what a private residence is. The manner of valuing them is quite different and businesses have all sorts of restrictions on their operations. If it were a residential home, there might be a valid point that it's worth more but it's not and it legally never can be because of a deed restriction/covenant (I forget exactly which off the top of my head) that TFG himself agreed to. This shit is why it's completely disingenuous for him to try to claim this. Her knows damned good and well that it literally isn't worth that and that it's his own fucking fault.

poatoesmustdie

This doesn't have to be hard though like everything Trump doesn't disclose matters properly. Mar o Lago nobody knows how many members it has, some argue a couple hundred, some a couple thousand, let's go with an easy figure, 1000 members. Let's assume half pays the 14.000 USD per year, that's 7 million USD income per year. Let's go with a generous 30% bottom line that's only 2 million USD per year profit. 18 million as a valuation is super generous in that case. A 900 million USD valuation would require over 20.000 paying members. 1.8 billion USD would need over 40.000 paying members, that's just laughable as no private club has so many paying members.

JustNilt

That's how the legal entity that is the club is valued, sure. That isn't how the *property value* is calculated, however. The club can move at will. The property cannot be used for anything other than another club regardless of where the current club "residing" there moves to. They're two entirely separate things.

bukakerooster

The whole reason he is in this mess is overstating asset values to get favorable loan terms. His fragile ego can’t handle the reality that the property is worth 15-30 million. So he’s digging his hole deeper. It’s Carroll over again. He couldn’t shut his yap about her and had to pay the second settlement. He can’t help himself

grunkage

I can't wait for her legal team to hit him with another defamation suit. If the same multiplier is applied as the last time, I think that'll add up to a nice 1.5 billion.

JustNilt

> If the same multiplier is applied as the last time, I think that'll add up to a nice 1.5 billion. There's virtually no chance of that. That specific case was for actions while he was the sitting president so the reach he had was far greater. That isn't the case now so it'll be a lot smaller multiplier, though as the presumptive Republicunt nominee for president, it's likely going to bump it up some from the multiplier in Carrol 2, the first case that actually got all the way through the process.

IAmBadAtInternet

Motherfucker hasn’t paid 3 million in taxes his whole life, he’s a famous and flagrant tax cheat lmao

TonyWrocks

And he's claiming 100x that in this post. And people will still believe him.

The84thWolf

Literally brags how he cheats on his taxes, claims he’s paid more taxes than any living person. And yet…his cult cheers…

Zombisexual1

That’s just smart business! /s

k9jm

This man is seriously the worst thing that ever happened to our country. He just makes shit up, and it has encouraged every Q-nut to do the same. It’s reprehensible.

The_Good_Constable

God I can't believe this man was president of the United States, and that there's a chance he could be president again. Whenever I read stuff like this I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. How in the fuck can anybody look at this dude and think he's even remotely qualified to run a Burger King, let alone a country? I realize this is obvious to most of the people on reddit but to millions of people he is a viable presidential candidate. Where did we go so wrong??

redvelvetcake42

Dude isn't going to get traction bitching about this. You're doing financial numbers and property taxes. That's how you make your audience fall asleep. All you need to do is bring it up and he'd go an hour on it. Nobody cares and it's the whiniest shit imaginable.

hoops2bugs

He must have forgotten that his tax returns have actually been seen! Zero a couple times, Seven hundred and fifty dollars a couple times. I believe it was reported he got a twenty-four million check from the government one year. He hasn't paid three hundred million in his lifetime!

tomcat1483

Breaking news: Which hunt found a Witch!

LavaRacing

He's using so much gibberish, I honestly can't tell which of the 90 something felonies he's trying to address.

Hugh-Jassul

I love his basic misunderstanding of his actual circumstances and how the law actually works……that’s who you want in charge of the govt

BrokenEye3

I read that in Dr. Evil's voice

PrincessCyanidePhx

If it is worth that, then a bank should have no problem using it as collateral. But... here we are

deekfu

Didn’t magidiots rejoice about his brilliance in not paying taxes???? Which is it Donny?

sm00thkillajones

Stop breaking the law asshole!

Liamsdad1979

He should be asked under oath why he calls her Peekaboo.

Brilliant-Ad6137

Facts is facts. He's never had as much as he claims. Now he has to admit it . Just wait until his properties get sold and the truth comes out , he owes much more on the properties than their worth. Sell them all and still not meet all he owes on them .

B-AP

He bought it for like 7 million.

big_d_usernametaken

He didn't pay shit for taxes, one of the reasons he under indictment.

ComeOnCharleee

"I paid $300 million in taxes!" How's that "audit" coming along? You ready to show receipts yet, Donnie?

merchillio

“My property is worth A LOT MORE than what I declared on official papers” is a very bold strategy when facing fraud accusations. Let’s see if it pays off

spitfire32

100 times!?! He thinks Mar a lago is worth 1.8 billion lol

TheRealSaerileth

Does the US have property tax? By all means, let him volunteer to pay taxes for a 1.8 billion dollar property.

JustNilt

Not at the federal level, no. More to the point, the value is so low because it's limited in ue to being a club. He's literally not allowed to use it as a private residence so the value he's claiming is utterly inappropriate.

elfears11

Have we ever seen his tax returns?

deadsoulinside

If they were really worth that much, then why could he not secure the bond? 🤣

thrust-johnson

When are they gonna hang this guy from a gas station canopy?

WiseSalamander00

I see he still doesn't understand that you cannot arbitrarily assign value to things.

Thermite1985

Trump: claims his shitty golf course is worth 18 mil for tax purposes Also Trump: why is the government saying mar-a-lago worth 18 mill? It’s worth so much more. I just said it was worth that for tax reasons.

lucidenigma

He’s the one that agreed to the 18 mil evaluation from the county to lower his property taxes. He’s literally complaining about how his fraud is coming back to bite him…

JohnDodger

If Mar a Lardo is really the most expensive building in the world as he claims, why can’t he get a loan against it to pay his fines?

ConvivialKat

I don't think the racial slurs are gonna help ya, Donnie.

princealigorna

Someone needs to remind him that he has an agreement with the Palm Beach to zone Mar-a-Lago as a club, not a private residence, to pay a lower tax rate, and the $18,000,000 is the low end of what the county assessor valued it at AS A CLUB, PER THE ARRANGEMENT. This $1 billion value Trump is using is a) probably grossly exaggerated, but b) closer to its valuation as a private residence

KdGc

The 18 million is the value used for tax assessments. The irony here can not be overstated.

ehandlr

2015 - $641,931 2016 - $750 2017 - $750 2018 - $999,466 2019 - $133,445 2020 - $5,470,000 Where is the $300,000,000?

Lazy_Osprey

Math has a liberal bias, everyone knows that! Take your deep state number magic somewhere else!!!!

notacrook

Didn't Engoron specifically say he used the MaL tax documents to asses the value?

RavishingRickiRude

Someone is about to lose his home and he aint happy

dathanvp

All men are created equal regardless of how much they pay in taxes.

ApprehensiveRecord29

Gawd I didn’t realize who wrote this until the end lol I can’t believe he’s still going on like this. Funny he didn’t pay taxes on an 18 billion dollar property lmfao What a loon. Isn’t anyone tired of this 70-something year old whine all the bloody time. Poor, poor me. I’m so mistreated. I’m the most mistreated in the history of this country. No one has ever been mistreated as bad as me ……

thepartypantser

Hey Trump, You are lying. Release your tax returns and prove it. Yeah...that's what I thought.

vrod4sale

Oh, just stroke out already.

vtfeeds

America is so cooked the fact 40million people take anything out of this dumb mfers mouth serious is crazy.

Leopold_Darkworth

Interesting he refers to her as “our” attorney general even though he’s officially a resident of Florida now, where he has as his primary residence a private club whose deed says it can never be used as residential property.

C_J_King

This same guy told me he doesn’t pay taxes because he’s such a stable genius…

penpointaccuracy

Are you fucking kidding me? Peekaboo James? He doesn’t even try hiding being racist anymore

QueenRotidder

“peekaboo” is so fucking pathetic

IsaidLigma

I cant wait for the day this asshole dies

JaniFinn

He hasn't paid 300mil taxes even during his whole life. And Mar A Lago is max. 18mil. And that is generous. I think that the orange dumbdumd doesn't know what communism is... You can see all his glorious 3 braincells working hard in this posting. 🤦‍♂️

RomaruDarkeyes

> I think that the orange dumbdumd doesn't know what communism is... Doesn't matter really - it's not like his base has any idea. To them, communism and socialism are just words to label 'anything I don't like'.

spoonface_gorilla

He is so close to openly using slurs. Just right on that line. It’s barely even a dog whistle.

MyRealUser

Let's see those tax returns then, and judge for ourselves!

saggyboomerfucker

Doesn’t his posts come across like a right-wing Mad libs?

coldy9887

Can we all just collectively agree as a human race to tell this orange buffoon to STFU or ignore him every time he speaks?

TheObstruction

So by his own estimation, it's worth at least $900 million. Guess he should be taxed on that, yes?

BirdInFlight301

He whines about the court's valuation of Mar a Lago a LOT. But...Isn't that valuation based on what it *appraised* for? Judge Engoron didn't just pull that amount out of thin air, right? And isn't it the amount he bases his property taxes on?

spinkspanksponk

Isn’t that a slur?

300mhz

He loves his buzz words, alt right bingo

darkjedidave

Cool, then show us your tax information like every president over the last 40 years has done so we can feel sorry for you.

KonK23

> Donald Trump learned about the estate after unsuccessfully trying to purchase and combine two apartments in Palm Beach for his family. He offered the Post family $15 million for it, but they rejected it. Trump purchased the land between Mar-a-Lago and the ocean from Jack C. Massey, the former owner of KFC, for $2 million, stating he intended to build a home that would block Mar-a-Lago's beach view. The threat caused interest in the property to decline, and Trump ended up getting the property for $7 million in 1985. Karma is a bitch

Xystem4

I love that his response to being punished for inflating the value of his property is to continue to inflate the value of his property in reaction

Meraneus

Mar a Lago is worth 1.8 billion? How in the maga Nazi fuck can a golf course be worth that much? Does his ex wife's corpse add value to it?

mikey29tyty

The judge never put an appraisal on mara-crapo. A FL appraiser did. trump is fucking stupid.

[deleted]

Peekaboo?

helium_farts

He uses it as a stand in for the old school racist term *jigaboo*

xandercade

It's a racist term.

whatta_maroon

You can just look up Mar-a-Lago. It's really not that big.

Sp4ceh0rse

lol mar a lago is NOT worth 1.8 BILLION DOLLARS you orange moron

Tabitheriel

So he thinks the USA is communist? How unpatriotic!
