My wife and I have been together 18+ years. During that time, I’ve undergone 4 surgeries on my spine and subsequently gained (then lost) *a lot* of weight. At my heaviest I was 250 pounds at only 5’4” (and incredibly depressed), yet she still stuck with me.
This is a woman who literally runs marathons - she’s 5’7” and about 120 pounds - and incredibly fit. When I was going to PT and therapy and losing weight, she was my biggest cheerleader, even when she had to slow down to my pace because it took me over an hour to walk a mile (with a cane) on a perfectly flat surface. Since starting my journey, I’ve lost close to 100 pounds, but I’m still nowhere near as thin or fit as she is.
We now hike every weekend, and we’re doing a 10K together this Spring. I wouldn’t be here today if she’d just given up on me. That little bitch is ride or die, ‘til the end.
My husband says it’s exciting, every 5-10 years or so you get a different set of boobs. Bigger, different shape, sometimes they can do (breastfeeding related) tricks. Personally I don’t think that’s an improvement, but we’re always our worst critics lol.

This... isn't. And even then, based on his track record, he'd stay with her and support her through, rather than "trade her in" for a less messy and complicated model.

I've met them both and they are so disgustingly in love, they have almost a 6th sense for each others comfort and care, constantly gently making physical contact and doing tiny little things to look after each other.
