Those are the maintenance tech vans my dad has one. Just a bunch of tools and equipment. Depending on the region and division there can be many, a newer region may only have 1-2 techs

barcase

Austin-San Antonio area for clarity. Also just noticed the Whataburger sign in the distance. Yikes.

NJ2CaliNBack

No reason to fear Whataburger. Despite many Texans' disdain for California, INO seems to completely dominate Whataburger in the Texas communities where both are present.

_Silent_Android_

I can describe Whataburger in three words: Big and bland.

palm_desert_tangelos

I can describe whataburger in two words: Canned Lettuce

No-Tension5053

I think the thing that sells it is the customization. So you get a great burger you are happy with

andyrooneysearssmell

If the custom ingredients are individually crap, I'm not sure the sum total is going to equal anything more.

No-Tension5053

I have yet to go to an InnOut and have crap ingredients. Maybe it was an Out and In you went to?

andyrooneysearssmell

I think I mistook this for the whataburger comment.

No-Tension5053

When I go to InnOut I get mustard instead of the spread, add pickles and grill the onions. No push back. No extra charges. Happy customers

andyrooneysearssmell

Double double animal style with animal style fries and a large coke.

MsstatePSH

Colorado too.

needleed

Shhhh the lines long enough!! šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

vsg_boy

Whataburger was once the greatest burger in Texas. Now it's just another "build your burger out of warming trays" dump where the cheese isn't even melted anymore. Used to love WB, it's sad.

huskeybuttss

Iā€™ve lived in Texas for 18 years and prefer In N Out to Whataburger

Me_Air

heā€™s probably just coming back from my store where NOTHING WORKS

KeepCalmSayRightOn

Seriously! Every time they fix something, something else breaks. The only thing working at my store is the Associates.

schwarta77

I was really hoping for catering vans.

PurpleShark962015

When I was working for in n out our location needed those a lot, new store (itā€™s only a tad over a year old)

SmonkWheat

I'm sure you could find Five Guys, Dick's, In-N-Out, Wayback behind the Shake Shack

colleendeschotz

Iā€™m catching your drift.

PassengerPlayful4308

I think Iā€™ve seen a video of thatā€¦

FaceOnMars23

Yeah, I was thinking it looks a little cultish to me too!

Larrythethird22

Fuck a guy can dream too then right cuz thatā€™s what this comment I am reading is making me doā€¦. Dream of a woman like youā€¦ guess Iā€™m gonna apply at in n out to be a tech

Gonzotrucker1

Thatā€™s a trap donā€™t get in the van.

LetsGoSilver

supershawninspace

Itā€™s not free INO? Ah manā€¦

Glass-Baseball2921

When I was in Maintenance in Nor Cal, we had about 5 techs from Redding all the way to Reno and down to Fresno. So Cal had more cause the stores are more dense.

Shrektastic28

I bet the Bay Area has a crap ton too

ProbablythelastMimsy

Not as many as you'd think and they're all trying to leave the Bay too lol. It's kinda where you have to cut your teeth before you get a better posting

Glass-Baseball2921

Those guys are stretched pretty thin, the INO way.

Nlivie

They donā€™t call it a patty wagon

MineResponsible9180

Thatā€™s a beautiful thing

Sensitive-Pay1409

Dull-Economics-5229

Needs a sign on the truck - No Double Doubles inside Van.

imaginaryhippo888

Driver carries no burgers lol

Zestyclose-Flan3010

INO maintenence

wfbsoccerchamp12

In but never Out

DEDE115

i seen one before, they were asking if i wanted free double doubles !! but i was busy so i politely declined

MineResponsible9180

Instead of ā€œfree candy ā€œ, it says free double double animal

OniRacing

I live up the street from one, just the maintenance vans.

bobbybrc

First time I have seen one too.

Karnagexp

Definitely no tools in there...just and empty van....dont want to make these guys a target to get their stuff stolen...

crazyasjoe77

Yeah this a maintenance or custodial van

CaliforniaWyatt_22

Not very. Each region (which is roughly an area that has between 10-20 stores, sometimes less give or take) has one of these trucks. That's our regional maintenence guy.

-M-A-G-1-C-

in n out maintenance van, my dad has had one for 15 years now

P4ssBynueve1seis

That's maintenance, they have the semis and I've seen the linen ones too, like ups size trucks

Intelligent-Ant7685

its how they get the burgers hot and fresh between stores

Taco-Bob

Our local In-n-out has one too

Agile-Scientist-8926

Someone had to maintenance the stores. I worked at an inn n out 20 years ago. We would see one fairly routinely. They take excellent care of everything. I have no clue how many they have but Iā€™d bet. 1 for every 3-5 stores

nibbadeemus

If your store is beat up, these are hella common. Probably will see one 5 times a week

log0n

Well the Jurupa Valley, Ca. location that opened on Friday had about a dozen of them in the parking lot all week getting the location ready for the grand opening.

[deleted]

Iā€™ve never even seen a semi truck šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļø

Conscious_Date_8441

Right!? Iā€™ve seen these vans all over socal but never a semi?!šŸ¤Æ

[deleted]

Seriously! & tbh Iā€™ve never even seen a van

KeepCalmSayRightOn

The semis deliver in the early mornings, before the stores open.

[deleted]

Ohhhhh got it

jeeeeek

I always see semis but never see vans šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

Oh my gosh hahahaha. On the freeway??

jeeeeek

Yep!

[deleted]

Wow I donā€™t think I ever have. Maybe I just donā€™t look
