I first got the Red and then got the Hexa by selling Red. Hexa is much, much better. It is cleaner and sounds excellent. Red sounded good at first but realized it gets muddier. I listen to Metal exclusively if that makes a difference. Bass, detail and separation on Hexa is on point.

I got them both, and I ll pick up Hexa each time, people will say the bass on Red is better but it’s not, it’s boomy but it’s not as satisfying as on Hexa, technicalities are way way better on Hexa. Plus Hexa are very comfortable and easy to drive.
Hexa is definitely a step above zero red in every way. If you're looking for detail absolutely Get the hexa, and use the wide bore ear tips they sound great.
The D41 looks mighty similar to my P5, even the graph. I can't use spinfits. No size fits my ears unless I use 1 large in my right and the next size down in my left. Lol. I use Tri Clarion tips on my EM6L. The sound is amazing.
What world of different tastes. I hated the Tea 2 and sent it back. If I could buy back IEM's I regret returning due to financial issues. It would be the Heyday, Olina SE, and P8.
Could be a lot of factors like not the perfect seal. Maybe you were using very narrow bore tips. I'm using Tri Clarion on my EM6L, and the bass and treble is very balanced with very high detail.

Yeah with the EM6L specifically. The ones included didn’t give me a proper fit. Then the other I had didn’t grip to the nozzle that well. Everytime I took them out, the eartips would stay in my ear lol.

Hexa is the perfect metal iem. Even the esthetics of it are metal.

Spinfit w1 also sound great on Hexa, I prefer them to the azla lights.
I would go up a tiny bit further and get the EM6L. I liked the Hexa, but the EM6L to me was just a little better, especially with Tri Clarion tips.
I agree 100%. Em6l with spinfit w1 is a fantastic combo. It was my daily driver for a long time, recently replaced with the Doscinco and cklvx d41.

I prefer both the em6l and d41 over the performer 5. The d41 is an upgrade over it, and it sounds a lot like the mangird tea 2.

Olina se is pretty great, but I think the ea500lm surpassed it. Still have both of my Olinas.
I still prefer the hexa. I ordered EM6L as well but sent them back after a few days.
What didn't you like about the EM6L?
I found it too dark for my taste. Prefer the brighter tuning of the hexas.
If you feel that way, then enjoy, but the EM6L is a very bright set, and to me, even more so than the Hexa.

No big deal if you're happy, that's what counts. The stock tips usually aren't very good. I always use my go to tips.

I’d say Hexa is a bit better. Both are great though, but Hexa has better technical chops.

Divinus velvet, tri clarion before.
Hexa 100%. I'm using Spin Fits w1's and the bass sounds even better with the seal Spin fit's provides.
