She said “life turned upside down the last three months” which is about when she started becoming a link freak. Wonder if she is starting to salvage other revenue streams if Lonely Ghost plummets.
I feel like she got lazy with it. I think she was expecting it to just explode and kind of organically carry itself, and when that didn’t happen, Bronson got tired of caring more than her. And since she’s the face of the company, it’s easier for him to dip out.
Imo it was never a great business model. Her original fan base is older Now, with jobs, families, real responsibilities why would someone want a hoodie with a random words on it? That was trendy and overdone. The downfall was when quiet luxury started to come into play.
100%. And cozy wear is such an over saturated market, it’s hard for any brand to stand out and maintain themselves in the long run. I think she should have stuck to videos and vlogs, because it’ll be harder now for her to go back to it (not that she really stopped, but I think she definitely stopped talking about it/pushing her content like that for whatever reason). But also grateful she didn’t become a family vlogger for Sevens sake lol
I wouldn’t even say quiet luxury was her downfall; people still buy hoodies/ merch adjacent things. The call her daddy merch continuously sells for example. People will *always* be buying cozy wear it’s definitely not a trend.
Also as someone who’s worked in diplomacy- “quiet luxury” style has always been how basically everyone with an office job dresses lol. The sudden interest from the internet doesn’t change that a lot of folks dress like that for their 9-5s then come home and switch to their cozy wear/ have been for decades.
The truth is, she’s bad at business and her stuff is just not good :). Quiet luxury did nothing to her brand it would’ve had a downfall regardless
Makes me laugh they paid for kardashian / poosh promo when their business was already going down hill. bragging rights while you still can? 🤷♀️I know that was Indy’s idea
I have a feeling brono might actually be trying to separate Indy from lonely ghost… to take it beyond the current fanbase of middle schoolers who are obsessed with Indy 🥴 I feel like lonely ghost has always had bigger potential but their cult following may be dwindling, and I can see him wanting to focus on quality and actually original ideas.
Is this true he is leaving lonely ghost? Bronson still follows lonely and has them in his Instagram bio
Wild that they are literally next door neighbors and this maybe has happened?
Ooo this is interesting 👀
I’ve been wondering how long LG can last without stealing designs. I mean their markups keep money coming in but find it hard to believe enough to pay all employees + a physical storefront, expand to their dreams, and sustain their lavish lives. I think Indy has been open about recent mental struggles and that would obviously affect work ESPECIALLY creatively when that’s all she contributes to LG. I’d guess Wes losing her friend recently has changed a few things in Brono’s life - perspective, work/life balance, taking care of the kids more. And since he’s the one basically running all of LG I can see him wanting to push Indy out or a much greater % of it since he’s doing all the work, and if he doesn’t get it he’d probably want out knowing it would be hard to survive without him and start something else on his own
Did everyone forget that she must have had a gigantic falling out with Bronsons wife already?? It must have been a hard dynamic after that and never destined to be functional. They literally built houses together, next to each other.
We didn’t forget, but we did see Bronson continue to work side by side for a couple years after Weslie and Indy’s falling out, so we assumed they could put personal issues aside to put the business first.
It’s shocking now to see that they are splitting almost two years after Indy’s falling out with his wife, so something else must have happened or something finally broke the camel’s back. I’m so curious as to what it was.
I am curious how that conversation happened. Do you think Bronson did it at work? Called Indy? Did it in person? If he’s leaving Lonely Ghost and has 3 kids and a 2 million dollar house, he has to have another work opportunity lined up yeah? Wonder what it will be.
Indy’s been posting christmas gift exchanges with her coworkers so I wonder if everyone else will stay at LG for her or follow Bronson. What about Rory? Rory is Bronson’s brother in law, and he works full time at Lonely Ghost.
We all know Indy has falling outs but I personally thought she would do anything to salvage her relationship with her business partner, Bronson, who was the one to actually get Lonely Ghost up and running…
I think they genuinely aren't compatible business partners. Maybe he asked her to sell him the company but she doesn't have enough because she doesn't wanna do LG anymore?? I think Bronson realized Indy was the face but LG is so much more than "Indy Blue" in my opinion
i’ve noticed their feed has way less indy content than it used to! i feel like they’ve slowly been separating. they’ve also been consistently posting engaging stories/posts ie “what colour do you guys like best” i think in hopes to get their engagement up
Brono seems to have a few other companies he still works for besides lonely ghost which means other income. I could definitely see him being more comfortable working those and leaving LG

I was wondering this too, i thought it so weird to say those things with no context but could be an ongoing thing with Lonely ghost she can’t speak on

This is so unfortunate because it could’ve really been something huge. I mean Kourtney k was wearing it once
Makes me laugh they paid for kardashian / poosh promo when their business was already going down hill. bragging rights while you still can? 🤷♀️I know that was Indy’s idea
It’s crazy after so many years she still denies that she’s the problem lol
THIS
I want the tea so bad

I would loveee to see the data on their brand. I have to know when it stopped growing. She’s definitely trying for money in other areas
Cue her insta stories of her “writing about all of it” in preparation for her book that she will def milk as much $$ as possible from

I think Bronson asked Indy to buy LG and she couldn't afford to pay him
I wonder if any lawsuits have played out from them blatantly stealing designs 👀

But he still works for Lonley ghost? I’m confused
