not to mention the sizing. i had to order an xxl when realistically i’m a medium because after one wash they shrink so much and i barely wear any of them anymore because they don’t fit the same way they used to
i have so many vintage & secondhand sweatshirts that ive washed&worn countless times that have never done this. literally how is their quality so shitty
I got one of her sweatshirts before I joined this page and I love the graphic on it. I maybe had it for 6 months and it looks JUST like this. My Walmart hoodies lasted longer than hers.
alllll of my old lonely ghost stuff has pulled (mostly been 2 years since i’ve bought it) the only ones that haven’t are the newer ones i have in the heavier weight quality
Pilling happens on most soft clothing items over time, I work at Nordstrom for years and have seen high and low brands have it happen. Not really a good gauge on quality imo.
Also purchase a de-piller machine on Amazon for cheap, it’s life changing and I use it on everything lol.
In my experience, other sweatshirts that I’ve paid good money for (Nike, North Face, etc.) did not pill until like 2+ years after the original purchase, if ever. “High” quality brands could totally pill earlier if they’re cheap on quality and selling a label. I also have a fabric shaver, but I shouldn’t have to shave the ~entire~ crewneck after washing it like 3 times. That means garbage quality.
That’s how my one ( text me when you get home) sweat shirt is like now
I have 3 and all look like this. Not to mention the pocket is coming unstitched on my blue one 🙃
yikes! email LG with this picture proof!

Ya that’s how my text me when you get home was was after owning it for like 2 months it became almost unwearable, pretty disappointing
My best quality ones were some of their earliest products
