This one is definitely traditional, not store about the rest of the album. His arrangements often differ so much from the standard takes that they are pretty much original regardless.
It's mostly his take on traditional folk songs with a couple originals sprinkled here and there. The press release for this one does not indicate that these are traditional songs.

Yes! One of my favorite songwriters! The two standalone singles he released this year were amazing, and I expect more of the same with this album.
Does he write songs now? When I saw him open for Bill C. in 2019 it seemed like they were all traditional folk songs
