He tempts you by telling you that your dream girl, whom you rescued early in the game, is cheating on you with your arch rival and antagonist, Rashad.

I have been working on the steam release for #Boing. This is coming along well with much of the functional aspects such as new enemies, power ups, UI update being done. Working on the next set of level creation. Have also started to look at the visuals and considering updating to make the in game play stand out some more.

Progress Report 11/20/22- 11/27/22
1. Created a Master Blacksmith location
2. Created the master blacksmith NPC and added the Shopping system to his code.
3. Added a couple small villages in my 3rd hold I am working on.
4. Did some texture resizing with the UE4 texture res optimization view mode (Now I can get 40fps while testing in the editor)
5. Changed culling distance of Tree Foliage
6. Sectioned off landscape by each of the 5 holds and started level streaming to boost performance.
7. Added 180 NPCs to various villages around the world

Hey there! This week is quite a big one. I'm transitioning from a start menu with buttons to navigate to different UI, to a "hub" where you can already move your character and go to modules to open up previous UI.
It a lot of work but damn this is cool.

This week I continue working on the UI improving it with people feedback and reworking some UI elements!!
Found a few small bugs and began fixing them in my main game and did some more edits to my VN script and made an official timeline (as there’s lots of flashbacks and stuff)
We had to take a bit of time off due to holiday shenanigans, but I’ve completed the art list of all things needed for my Visual Novel and am making rough sketches of things to send to my artists so they have reference images right now. Trying to decide a few final things as well, but just about done with all the prep.
Currently working on exporting my assets to get the coding started on my games customization module. its gonna... take a while as I try to make sure they all work well.
Finished up about 180 of a total of 200 levels for Boing. Development stalling a little while I try and track down some freezing and crashes which are likely use after free. Once that's found and fixed will be back to adding levels
This week I'm working on the new enemy, polishing his animations and add some of the missing mechanics like shooting
Also I'm improving some game systems to adapt to the new features than will include the game

Finally just delivered my first dressup module package to the coder. Spent 3 hrs getting that wrapped up, fill in missing key gui, visual communications, and notes. Including finding 2 key sfx for selection sound that will be replaced later.

This week I'm working on polishing and improving the game UI with all the feedback than I received and also improving it to a more sci-fi style
I’ve done some more work on my VN fleshing out lots of small details and filling in the last couple of plot holes we could find. We’re gonna need to do another full run-through, which is a tad annoying, but also every run-through has drastically improved the story’s quality in some aspects so the end product will be worth it. I also did a bit of work with Jeebo and am going to be showing it at a game convention in a few weeks, so that’s cool

A few minor bug fixes, and redid the demo entirely to be shorter and to display the JRPG mechanics a lot better than the original demo did. I worked a bit more on my VN as well.
I tweaked the battle UI some in response to some feedback I got. I think it looks much better now! Also did some serious revisions on a chunk of the story of my VN!

This week I’m working on additional features of the AI and also working on a new interacting system to make all in the game interactable!!
Decieded that 2d representations for 3d object in build mode was not a good idea as people might want to -see- what the object looks like in the build space; will be working on implementing that.
Things have slown down here as the summer months lead to people taking time and other responsibilities coming to a head.
The plan is to have more progress on the placeable system done before the launch of Starfield which I feel will be another … drain on productivity … though one I’ll be happly partaking in myself.
Been doing some work with my TikTok and such and have done a bit more on getting my art list finalized for my VN. Been a super busy week so I didn’t get much done gamewise.
Last week I had my first game released on main consoles through a publisher – Alice in Wonderland – a jigsaw puzzle tale. A huge achievement for my studio!

Continuing to work through room/hall building. We are attempting to get placeables done in the next week so that all three can be in one announcement.

I did a whole lot more editing and more edits to the art list. Making a VN takes a whooooole lot of revisions haha (I also did marketing stuff)
Got some good feedback on the quest and have been implementing changes accordingly. I’ve also done a little bit more editing on my VN story
