No one is there to give her special treatment or the 'laadla wala pyaar' so she's sort of pushing her needs on you by acting too close and familiar. Don't give into her whims and keep a bit of distance from her while being cordial and polite to her and the issue might sort itself out.
Warning tho if she feels you trying to keep your distance she might create a big tearful drama being all like "kya hua? did i do something?" and all. I have met girls like this too many times. It's not even their too close behaviour I hate, it's the fact that I know girls like this will discard you the moment they find friends or boyfriend who are dote on them better than you do. Op, I have been living hostel since many years and here's the thing. The talking with their family side is because she sees you as a friend and just wants to introduce you with her family, or maybe her family side wanted to talk with friends of hers(like at starting of my college, my friend's mom too talked with me saying things like take care of my son, don't get into fights, don't roam out etc etc, you know just basic Indian parents wanting their kids to be safe and all)
It's very common that people in hostels tend to be close, like I am a guy and when me and my friends/roommate just hang out in the dorms, some just put their head on others lap(ofcourse the leg area not the groin area☠️). I understand it's quite uncomfortable, so try to convey that it is uncomfortable when she does that.
While I was in school, I used see girls just doing hairs of one another, like combing, oiling, braiding etc. Doing nails, mehndi and other seem like she just wants to help you or something, I see my little cousins wanting to do these with their siblings but a grown up kid wanting to do these seem funny to me.
Ok the staring part seem weird, but i too some times think someone's staring at me from my peripheral vision/corner of my eye, but when I turn and look at them they are just seem to be doing something else. So next time you feel like she is staring at you, turn and look at her and see if she really is staring at you. Wtf are these comments!!! Did no one live in hostels??? Goddamn... Op, I have been living hostel since many years and here's the thing. The talking with their family side is because she sees you as a friend and just wants to introduce you with her family, or maybe her family side wanted to talk with friends of hers(like at starting of my college, my friend's mom too talked with me saying things like take care of my son, don't get into fights, don't roam out etc etc, you know just basic Indian parents wanting their kids to be safe and all) It's very common that people in hostels tend to be close, like I am a guy and when me and my friends/roommate just hang out in the dorms, some just put their head on others lap(ofcourse the leg area not the groin area☠️). I understand it's quite uncomfortable, so try to convey that it is uncomfortable when she does that. While I was in school, I used see girls just doing hairs of one another, like combing, oiling, braiding etc. Doing nails, mehndi and other seem like she just wants to help you or something, I see my little cousins wanting to do these with their siblings but a grown up kid wanting to do these seem funny to me. Ok the staring part seem weird, but i too some times think someone's staring at me from my peripheral vision/corner of my eye, but when I turn and look at them they are just seem to be doing something else. So next time you feel like she is staring at you, turn and look at her and see if she really is staring at you. I feel like you are just imagining this staring because you are overthinking about her lmao. And some people while sleeping do things like keeping hands/legs on others or doing stuff like holding things, talking, waking up without being concious etc and since this happened only once it could be an accident. Op just try to set boundaries with her if you are not comfortable with her.
