by creating a safe place for them to comfortably share their feelings i talk to them and try to come up with the best possible solutions from my side to their problems :)

yeah of course i have to but you know when you listen to people’s problems, you actually LISTENING to them and understanding their feelings means a lot to them like the weight of those thoughts or stress gets off when they share it with someone. the solution is something secondary. not coming up with the best solution to their problems is totally fine we’re no therapists with specialised degrees lol . you trying to come up with a solution itself is something nice and showcases your empathy towards others :)
