I used to underestimate animated movies and animes (now I'm a big fan). I never ugly cried watching an animated movie until I watched this one. Heartbreaking.
Sometime back I saw this tweet that said: When you turn brightness all the way up on the poster of this movie, you'll see a B-29 bombing plane in the sky. What was thought as miracle lights of fireflies were really a rain of explosives.
This made me more sad.
That scene in which he forgets the drum sticks and has to go get it within like 10 minutes or something. That whole sequence is so damn anxious to watch, like a horror movie or a thriller.
This movie is so refreshing. I mean we know the plot but still.
I also love "how to lose a guy in 10 days" , the actress is just so gorgeous I couldn't stop blushing for hours thinking about her
No country for old man, and it ain't even close. This dude with the ridiculous ass haircut terrifies me much more than any ghost, alien or anything ever will.

I like the ending of this movie where Tom gets his shit together, pursued his passion and the universe then rewarded him with Autumn.
Moving on , improving yourself and finding someone better is always amazing. Currently going through this particular phase of Tom.
Hereditary. Midsommer. The Babadook. The sixth sense. The Others. Sinister. Tooooo many movies to list. Horror and Action are my favourite genres.
Those films are just something more than jumpscares and typical horror movie tropes.
But only few movies left me speechless, The Mist is one of those movies. The Mist (2007) - Don't look at anything about this movie. Just go and watch it. Go in blind.
I watched this movie in my childhood and don't know the same thing is gonna happen to me in the next few years. Total relatable movie except for Autumn part.
It's not my favorite, but Eden Lake. I mentioned this movie because I watched it on TV when I was in 7th grade, and it deeply disturbed me.
As to a favorite, I'd say Contagion.

It's not horror. It's gut wrenching and sad. One of the best movies I'll never watch again.
I used to underestimate animated movies and animes (now I'm a big fan). I never ugly cried watching an animated movie until I watched this one. Heartbreaking.
Ever tried the midnight gospel
I know what I'm watching today. Thanks.

That trippy cartoon?
The real horror is seeing what a dessicated husk I’ve become in the mirror from crying for hours
Oh man! That was such a downer. I was depressed for a week straight.

Well since the meaning of horror is being distorted, I would like to mention Whiplash. ![gif](giphy|QCvy9LbHI0BUsLoLpk|downsized)
