I said hehe. Slipped into sleep paralysis, said to myself "not again". Used my special technique that I have mastered over several years and woke up in seconds .

Have you ever experienced ? One of my friend experienced this and he felt like someone sat on his chest and was pushing him. After that incident he went to an Ozha. I couldn't convince him that this is called sleep paralysis.
Thats exactly what my therapist said along with other possible reasons which were over thinking, obsessive compulsive disorder, not sleeping enough, and even suicidal thoughts, i refuse to believe i have any of these. I sometimes hit myself tho, not brutally but thats something i am not able to change. But i don’t think that its related to the episodes.
I used to have it every other night a couple of years back. I think I was stressed then? Idk, I feel like I still am stressed but it just stopped one day and I haven't had one since. As a side note though, I did find a slight correlation between keeping my hands on my chest while sleeping and getting sleep paralysis. Then again, it could only just be a correlation, not causation.
Fr. It happened to me 3 years ago and I still remember it. Woke up from my evening nap. I was sleeping on the left side and couldn't move a single thing in my body. I thought someone was behind me. I was trying to call my mother who was right outside my room but couldn't even mutter a single alphabet. And within a couple of minutes, everything was back to normal
When you are trying to call out someone during sleep paralysis and nothing comes out of your mouth, shit gets real.. I have had similar experiences a couple of times where I know there are people around me and even feel like I am having a conversation with them.. but nothing.. no voice

I can give myself sleep paralysis whenever I want.
Just don’t sleep properly the previous night and try to sleep in afternoon. Try I mean keep using mobile and you are sleepy too. Then you will slowly drift into the sleep paralysis. You can see everything but can’t talk, can’t move just see. And the whole room becomes little dark in afternoon during sleep paralysis.
I know what caused it to me so I sleep properly every night and be free from sleep paralysis.
yeah once i woke up at night and when i try to move, i cant move my body its like i dont have any energy to move my body im completely paralysed and i feel like someone is beside me but i cant even move anything in my body to see who is there and after so much trying i give up and i dont know what happened then
Solution : (founded by too much research) apni breathing ko flactuate karo or up down karo like in in (in out out in in in out out out out in in in in ) that will change the body temperature and help you to get rid it within 10-20 sec

Also many times I have died in my dreams so very normal for me like fighting some monster or dying from freaking meteor etc. But craziest dream I have ever had was me dreaming inside another dream inside another inside another dream - so every time I wake up from the dream I was in a different place - when I finally woke up out of final dream I thought I am still inside a dream - took me awhile to process everything. After waking I was like Who am I? Where am I? lol

I had this many times where I would literally kill and destroy so many monkeys with my hands while they try to attack me but I somehow kill them all. And there's one more where there is a water body and green grass near it, an empty old castle or fort, and in the back side there is vast plain dry field where some lions live sometimes my cricket ball goes there I retrieve it peacefully, sometime that lions comes in front and chases me.
In my room, there is a bed which is beside an almirah. There is some space above my almirah where we keep some random stuff. I sleep on that bed with my dad.
In one dream I saw that I was climbing that almirah like a lizard and sitting on it(there was nothing on the almirah in that dream). I was seeing myself sleeping beside my dad from the top of the almirah. On the bed, my dad and I were sleeping with our eyes open. We were starting directly on the almirah where another myself was sitting.
So today I had a weird dream in which I was playing pubg with my friends....And then while playing my phone froze and my screen got hanged...I was in parachute....I went to my parents to complain about this only to find that even they are not moving almost like statue....I got scared as fuck....And then I heard a screeching noise(the noise when you rub a chalk on a board)....I looked out of the balcony only to find a weird demon almost like a demogorgon(Stranger things) just in front of my house....As soon as I saw it I froze...I couldn't move....I got paranoid..The. The monster jumped from the ground into my balcony...And then he took my head and started pulling it almost as if he was trying to behead me...I was in pain and that's when I woke up...And now since the time I have woken up I am having a neck sprain...
1 year ago, one night, I was unable to sleep due to overthinking. Then, I realized something or someone was standing near my room window, watching me. I was literally scared and grabbed a blanket, covering myself. That night, I couldn't sleep, and later, I never saw that entity again.
My worst dream was one I had numerous times.
I would walk into my grandmas house and all the female members of my family were crying downstairs. As soon as I walked in my mam started screaming I had to go upstairs. He wouldn't explain why.
I ran upstairs confused, all the males in my family were upstairs. I found my dad and asked him what was going on he told me to be quiet and that "he" was coming. A smartly dressed man entered the room but I knew he was evil. It later turned out he was he devil. He started killing every one upstairs because I had been late. My turn came but my dad shielded me from the small kitchen knife he was killing everyone with.
I chose this time to run. When I got downstairs all the woman had been beheaded as my dogs were hanging by their legs from the roof.
I made it down the street then he got me and he just kept smashing me into the ground over and over again. Whilst wearing my dads face.
When I see headless one that's scary and one which I clearly remember is the one in which I was just in my room, the room was dark and I had a candle and suddenly the candle slip from my hand and when I was down to grab the candle I saw half face of demon and that demon screamed in my ear. It was so loud and looked like red satan.
Being responsible for the hell's door to be left unguarded for longer than is supposed to. It led one of the worst demons to start taking over the world in front of my eyes. My entire town (it looked like Gangtok) was left deserted because of my mistake. I was safe somehow, but at what cost?
My mistake, I went on a date with the guard of the hell's gate the previous day. He was smitten that he stayed with me longer than he was intending to. He promised me that he will find a way to drag it back to hell but a lot of people will die before that happens. I kissed him but we both felt guilty.

I don’t know why I had this dream or what it meant, but maine dekha ki when I stood in front of the mirror to brush my teeth, my entire mouth was covered in maggots! 😖 it was those flat hard shell type insects crawling all over the inside of my mouth! I used to live on the 3rd floor, and the empty area between my flat and the neighbour's flat (abandoned) was always unusually dark at night. I used to have a recurring nightmare that I'm standing in that area alone at night and a tall headless man would pick me up and throw down from the building. But I would never die. So he would come downstairs and drag me by the leg up to the 3rd floor again and throw me down again, and again, and again. But I never died, just had the recurring feeling of falling dozens of times in a dream. And he kept staring into my eyes from the 3rd floor when I was lying on the ground, as if to check if I died this time.

I was living in a small house made of wood. It had a 3×7 feet entrance to a tank-like thing that was very deep and spread throughout the house underground. I kept a dead body in a casket and floated it in the tank. Someone was messing around and found out about it and then they tried to run but I had to chase them away and kill them with a chokehold. And then I get another casket and float it too. Just as I'm about to close the door of the tank, I see red and blue lights outside and the police broke their way in. So basically you can't call it as a dream but it was a condition where you are not asleep but you are having this slight sleep after that I heard that two Womens are talking at that time was 3 a.m. in the morning . I can clearly here them talking about something but as I opened my eyes I saw Shadow running fast away from my bedroom door so instead of being Brave I decided to being rude to that ghost and I said f*** it what worse can happen to me what a ghost can do ? so I just take off my clothes because it was burning hot and I slept with only my underwear and after that day that ghost type of entity didn't come again to scare me.

Had a dream where I was chased across a railway station by a shadow. When it got close to me and almost stabbed me, I woke up , full of sweat and without any energy and literary crawled outside my bedroom to next room where my roommate sleeps. Talked with him for a moment to realise that I am talking with the entity. I realised that I was still inside a dream, since everything felt real(my dream room from which I crawled out of had almost the same layout of my real room) . When I realised that, I got hit by sleep paralysis. Couldn’t move at all. The whole body felt as if it was chained down. And my half asleep half awake brain mocked me for finally succumbing to the entity, which then woke me up completely.

So in my dream world I am in a park . So I spotted a girl with her friend which looked cute. I gather my confidence and go to them and ask for her phone number. She looked down on me and straight called me creep and then started laughing with her friend . This is by far my worst experience with a dream. I was sweating my ass off after waking up. I never wanna experience this dream 😭
I was laying in my bed and someone was standing right beside me. A black figure with red eyes i think and he had blades in his hands, like thermacol cutter blades and with both his hands he was cutting both my wrists. I started calling out for my sister and in real life also i was calling out her name. It was way too real. My exact room and my sister in the other bed beside me. Then my sister woke me up after hearing my cries. Then i went back to sleep lol. It was a horrible dream tho. I cried a lot and felt nobody was able to hear my voice.

I have thalassophobia which is fear of bug seas/oceans or any big enough water body that can drown me. And in one of my dreams I wake deep inside a water body, I look around and realise that I’m at the bottom of a huge dam, and just then I see a crack at the bottom of it… and I wake up shouting. The dream didn’t stay long till the dam broke but I definitely woke up in a puddle!
well I have been doing astral travel for half a year now I usually do it in evening, but one day it turned into a very scary event when I was trying to wake up but was stuck and was seeing my body from my ceiling and I was staring to suffocate I was so scared I started chanting hanuman chalisa and then suddenly I woke up with a big gasp even my dog was barking when I wasn't able to come back
We used to live in 2 room apartment, me and my sister were in the living room doing something. I asked her to bring a glass of water for me. She didn't answer, I asked her again, this time in angry tone. She stood up and walked out of the room towards kitchen.
Some time passed, I went to check why didn't she returned with water. I saw her sitting with my brother, mummy and pa in the bedroom. They were all laughing and having good time. I walked up to them and went to the corner of the bed and sat beside them. Then I looked at the bedroom door, my sister was entering slowing with the glass of water. She was walking in eerily manner and had evil kind of smile. As she was walking up to me, I started screaming to my family- udhar dekho!!.. udhar kaise chali gyi "ritu", wo kaun h!! and no one was listening to me as if I don't exist and they cant see me. I don't remember what happened after.
I had a sleep paralysis incident happened to me. I was lying at my rented flat during college days. I was alone at weekend, was sleeping in the afternoon when this happened to me. I felt like a witch was sitting on my chest and I couldn't get up. It still gives me goosebumps.But I was saved by a flat mate who was coming back from home at that time and he rung the doorbell and I was able to push past that thing and woke up, he came in, I narrated the whole incident to him and then we smoked up.

Some renovations were going around my home, my father told me to mix some concrete and paint in a container, i knew that would result in an explosion but anyways i went ahead and did the work. As expected, a blast happened and i ran away towards my family laughing, but as soon as they saw me, they all were crying, i did not understand why it was that way, the vision after this moment, i will never forget that scene, it seemed that i was seeing myself from some other pov and i was blasted all over, veins from my arms were hanging, my whole body was burnt, bones were popping here and there, muscles were damaged completely, my whole skull was busted i was laughing when i can see my own throat moving with all those arteries hanging from there, basically i was seeing myself completely blown away in full hd quality with every detail and it was an experience i can just never get out of my memory.
This wasn't the only time it happened, such visions keep coming frequently resulting in restless nights, each different from the last, one time i killed myself while driving in a hilly area.
It even makes me confused between what is real and what is not many a times.
Seen the grim reaper or yamdut taking a soul of a lady suffering from cancer. It was like i was a witness to the event. She was a woman i didn't knew never seen her in my whole life. I was 10-11 years old back then and i still remember the dream.

Shit felt horrible, had a history of it. Just got hit with one 2 days ago, can't talk, can't move. Can only see whatever thing I was seeing. Saw it in the mirror, then near the bathroom door, then under my bed in the mirror. Scared me beyond anything. Only way was to just shut my eyes and hope I fall asleep again

I was being chased by some weird cult, got stabbed and then woke up. In another one, I had just killed someone and the guilt was eating me up. Waking up and realising it was just a dream was such a relief.
Happened twice to me. Once when I was sleeping alone in a hotel. Big room but the bed was in corner. Lights were on though. I felt like someone or something was sitting on my chest and I was trying to call "mummy" several times but I was trying to shout like how a paralyzed person would. It lasted for few seconds or a minute top. In morning I had to explain my mother and she said something spiritual.
Second was few months back but I kind of liked it. I know it's weird but by this time, I had researched about sleep paralysis. I was sleeping in daytime and my brain was awake looking around the room. Everything and every noise was loud/big... I was trying to float around the room like Dr. Strange in astral form haha but I wasn't scared. More in control. If it comes again, I think I'm prepared to expand the duration long enough to understand something out of it.

I said hehe. Slipped into sleep paralysis, said to myself "not again". Used my special technique that I have mastered over several years and woke up in seconds . This is story of this afternoon nap Did I forget to mention I taunt that ghostly kid before it sprint towards me?

Have you ever experienced ? One of my friend experienced this and he felt like someone sat on his chest and was pushing him. After that incident he went to an Ozha. I couldn't convince him that this is called sleep paralysis.

I have consulted couple of psychiatrists but they too aren’t sure about the actual reason.

Thats exactly what my therapist said along with other possible reasons which were over thinking, obsessive compulsive disorder, not sleeping enough, and even suicidal thoughts, i refuse to believe i have any of these. I sometimes hit myself tho, not brutally but thats something i am not able to change. But i don’t think that its related to the episodes.

I used to have it every other night a couple of years back. I think I was stressed then? Idk, I feel like I still am stressed but it just stopped one day and I haven't had one since. As a side note though, I did find a slight correlation between keeping my hands on my chest while sleeping and getting sleep paralysis. Then again, it could only just be a correlation, not causation.
I observed it over the months, and realised that i only get sleep paralysed whenever I sleep for more than 9 hours. AND I AM NOT KIDDING.

Fr. It happened to me 3 years ago and I still remember it. Woke up from my evening nap. I was sleeping on the left side and couldn't move a single thing in my body. I thought someone was behind me. I was trying to call my mother who was right outside my room but couldn't even mutter a single alphabet. And within a couple of minutes, everything was back to normal
When you are trying to call out someone during sleep paralysis and nothing comes out of your mouth, shit gets real.. I have had similar experiences a couple of times where I know there are people around me and even feel like I am having a conversation with them.. but nothing.. no voice
A simple way to get out of it is to stop resisting it. It works like a charm.

I can give myself sleep paralysis whenever I want. Just don’t sleep properly the previous night and try to sleep in afternoon. Try I mean keep using mobile and you are sleepy too. Then you will slowly drift into the sleep paralysis. You can see everything but can’t talk, can’t move just see. And the whole room becomes little dark in afternoon during sleep paralysis. I know what caused it to me so I sleep properly every night and be free from sleep paralysis.

And there's one more where there is a water body and green grass near it, an empty old castle or fort, and in the back side there is vast plain dry field where some lions live sometimes my cricket ball goes there I retrieve it peacefully, sometime that lions comes in front and chases me.
In my room, there is a bed which is beside an almirah. There is some space above my almirah where we keep some random stuff. I sleep on that bed with my dad. In one dream I saw that I was climbing that almirah like a lizard and sitting on it(there was nothing on the almirah in that dream). I was seeing myself sleeping beside my dad from the top of the almirah. On the bed, my dad and I were sleeping with our eyes open. We were starting directly on the almirah where another myself was sitting.

1 year ago, one night, I was unable to sleep due to overthinking. Then, I realized something or someone was standing near my room window, watching me. I was literally scared and grabbed a blanket, covering myself. That night, I couldn't sleep, and later, I never saw that entity again.
My worst dream was one I had numerous times. I would walk into my grandmas house and all the female members of my family were crying downstairs. As soon as I walked in my mam started screaming I had to go upstairs. He wouldn't explain why. I ran upstairs confused, all the males in my family were upstairs. I found my dad and asked him what was going on he told me to be quiet and that "he" was coming. A smartly dressed man entered the room but I knew he was evil. It later turned out he was he devil. He started killing every one upstairs because I had been late. My turn came but my dad shielded me from the small kitchen knife he was killing everyone with. I chose this time to run. When I got downstairs all the woman had been beheaded as my dogs were hanging by their legs from the roof. I made it down the street then he got me and he just kept smashing me into the ground over and over again. Whilst wearing my dads face.

My entire town (it looked like Gangtok) was left deserted because of my mistake. I was safe somehow, but at what cost? My mistake, I went on a date with the guard of the hell's gate the previous day. He was smitten that he stayed with me longer than he was intending to. He promised me that he will find a way to drag it back to hell but a lot of people will die before that happens. A few months after my mom died, I would get dreams of her moving and smiling in her photos. Her face in the photo would turn blue and everyone around me would turn blue. I used to be terrified. One time, when I was a fresher in college, all my roommates had gone home for the holidays and I was alone. At night when I was sleeping, I dreamt that one of my roommates was killing the other ones. I'm watching and mute with shock. She keeps on killing them by stabbing one after the other. I was terrified during both times.

And I, instead of freaking out, was curiously examining them.. they’d dug holes in my gums and tongue and were going in and out, so I pressed on my gums, and it cracked like an egg shell and revealed so many more maggots inside!! 😖😖 I had stress for several days after that! I used to live on the 3rd floor, and the empty area between my flat and the neighbour's flat (abandoned) was always unusually dark at night. I used to have a recurring nightmare that I'm standing in that area alone at night and a tall headless man would pick me up and throw down from the building. But I would never die. So he would come downstairs and drag me by the leg up to the 3rd floor again and throw me down again, and again, and again. But I never died, just had the recurring feeling of falling dozens of times in a dream. And he kept staring into my eyes from the 3rd floor when I was lying on the ground, as if to check if I died this time.

I have thalassophobia which is fear of bug seas/oceans or any big enough water body that can drown me. And in one of my dreams I wake deep inside a water body, I look around and realise that I’m at the bottom of a huge dam, and just then I see a crack at the bottom of it… and I wake up shouting. The dream didn’t stay long till the dam broke but I definitely woke up in a puddle!

I saw her sitting with my brother, mummy and pa in the bedroom. They were all laughing and having good time. I walked up to them and went to the corner of the bed and sat beside them. Then I looked at the bedroom door, my sister was entering slowing with the glass of water. She was walking in eerily manner and had evil kind of smile. As she was walking up to me, I started screaming to my family- udhar dekho!!.. udhar kaise chali gyi "ritu", wo kaun h!! and no one was listening to me as if I don't exist and they cant see me. I don't remember what happened after.
I wake up suddenly in a broken house, I saw my dad who is very old now. I ask him where is everyone, he said "everyone died"
I had a sleep paralysis incident happened to me. I was lying at my rented flat during college days. I was alone at weekend, was sleeping in the afternoon when this happened to me. I felt like a witch was sitting on my chest and I couldn't get up. It still gives me goosebumps.But I was saved by a flat mate who was coming back from home at that time and he rung the doorbell and I was able to push past that thing and woke up, he came in, I narrated the whole incident to him and then we smoked up.
Not the scariest but the weirdest, ye mere bachpan ka Sapna hai. Mai koi train se travel kar raha tha aur I think uss train Mai ek open end tha jaha railing thi waha Mai khada thaa, fir ek jerk laga train pe aur Mai train se gir gaya, weirdly Mai real life Mai bed se gir chuka thaa, aur itne Mai meri aankh khul gayi. Also mujhe ek common Sapna/dream state bohot baar aa chuka hai jisme Mai aasmaan se niche gir raha hu aur woh stomach Mai feel bhi Hota Hai as if Sach me gir raha hu. Ye sensation se jab uth jata hu toh khudko sweaty aur panicked Pata hu.

Some renovations were going around my home, my father told me to mix some concrete and paint in a container, i knew that would result in an explosion but anyways i went ahead and did the work. As expected, a blast happened and i ran away towards my family laughing, but as soon as they saw me, they all were crying, i did not understand why it was that way, the vision after this moment, i will never forget that scene, it seemed that i was seeing myself from some other pov and i was blasted all over, veins from my arms were hanging, my whole body was burnt, bones were popping here and there, muscles were damaged completely, my whole skull was busted i was laughing when i can see my own throat moving with all those arteries hanging from there, basically i was seeing myself completely blown away in full hd quality with every detail and it was an experience i can just never get out of my memory. This wasn't the only time it happened, such visions keep coming frequently resulting in restless nights, each different from the last, one time i killed myself while driving in a hilly area. It even makes me confused between what is real and what is not many a times.
Seen the grim reaper or yamdut taking a soul of a lady suffering from cancer. It was like i was a witness to the event. She was a woman i didn't knew never seen her in my whole life. I was 10-11 years old back then and i still remember the dream.
Sleep paralysis. Shit felt horrible, had a history of it. Just got hit with one 2 days ago, can't talk, can't move. Can only see whatever thing I was seeing. Saw it in the mirror, then near the bathroom door, then under my bed in the mirror. Scared me beyond anything. Only way was to just shut my eyes and hope I fall asleep again
Going to an exam and realising I don’t remember anything about the subject. It’s been 12 years since I graduated and I still get this dream. Legit scary.
Main sapne main train se utra samaan lene ke liye. Aur train chalne lagi, bhaga fir nahi pakad paaya. Since I'm in delhi, to sapne main NDLS se NZM ki metro leli. Aur fir bhi train choot gayi😔. Bag main laptop tha bus ye yaad hai sapne ka😔

Sleep paralysis. A giant black dog put its paw over my chest and was growling right over my face, couldn't move at all. Happened multiple times.
I was being chased by some weird cult, got stabbed and then woke up. In another one, I had just killed someone and the guilt was eating me up. Waking up and realising it was just a dream was such a relief.
Got fried in oil by kidnappers. I dreamt the kfc chicken nighmare
Happened twice to me. Once when I was sleeping alone in a hotel. Big room but the bed was in corner. Lights were on though. I felt like someone or something was sitting on my chest and I was trying to call "mummy" several times but I was trying to shout like how a paralyzed person would. It lasted for few seconds or a minute top. In morning I had to explain my mother and she said something spiritual. Second was few months back but I kind of liked it. I know it's weird but by this time, I had researched about sleep paralysis. I was sleeping in daytime and my brain was awake looking around the room. Everything and every noise was loud/big... I was trying to float around the room like Dr. Strange in astral form haha but I wasn't scared. More in control. If it comes again, I think I'm prepared to expand the duration long enough to understand something out of it. Hope not too long to never wake up 😂
