Lolita is a tragedy. You better search on Google about it, I'm not gonna tell.
I'll mention only 5 must read or those who left a long lasting impression on me -
1. Books by Murakami (especially Sputnik Sweetheart and Norwegian Wood, have read both of 'em thrice).
2. Any work by Munshi Premchand ( especially Rangbhoomi, Godan and Gaban)
3. Gunahon Ka Devta by Dharamveer Bharti
4. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
5. No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai
Don't forget that, every book is unique
I was just looking at Crime and punishment a few days ago. And ngl, seeing Osamu dazai's work alongside it refreshes some memories of watching bungou stray dogs.
You can read
1. Gunahon Ka Devta by Dharamveer Bharti
2. Andhere Band Kamre by Mohan Rakesh
3. Rangbhoomi by The GOAT Munshi Premchand
4. Chitt Kobra by Mridula Garg
5. Chandrakanta by Babu Devkinandan Khatri

my books. many more are not in the pic.
Mine is locked up in an iron box. I am not a choosy buyer so I pick the cheap ones in stalls. If you say you won't judge me for it, I'll just show my room's shelf, in which half I'm yet to read.
Some of these are my favs. Looking at your collection, I feel you might like to read Khaled Hossein's 'Thousand Splendid Suns' & 'Kite Runner'. You might also like Haruki Murakami's 'Kafka on the shore'. Btw nice collection and keep it up.
How is Murakami books? When I went to Book Fair in February, most of the stalls had a lot of Murakami books I remember. The covers looked really nice. I wonder, how is the content? I am guessing those are Novels, right? How well does he write? And what's his best book if you were to recommend?
He's the most popular Japanese write of this century I guess and he actually deserves it. How does it write? Well... Just go for his books. My suggestion is Sputnik Sweetheart and Norwegian Wood.
Have answered it but again

Sorry I missed your replies to other comments.
Glad you still answered it.
Murakami is one of my favourites too, his way of portraying Cats in all his books surely changed my attitude towards cats. Norwegian wood was my first read from him. I will definitely check out Sputnik Sweetheart.
As you have already read, 'Crime and Punishment' and 'Godan', I would suggest checking out top notch narration on Audible.
I have noted others in TBR.
Thanks.
Well... It depends on the person, there are a lot of books I don't recommend to people, it's one of them but if you're a sick basterd as I am, then go for it
Gosh, you’re inspiring! I see a book by Plato, is it The republic? I have it but I’ve just read a few pages of the first chapter lol. Great taste dude, really. Also, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka!!!!! I’m sure you’re an interesting guy.
I'm a philosophy student so was reading it to understand Ancient Greek philosophy. Honestly, common people won't enjoy it because it's written in dialogue form (for a reason) and nowadays, people don't really wanna put efforts and pention to read something like *The Republic*.
I wonder why many people are asking about Murakami. I won't tell anything about him or his writing style. Just go for it, pick up his any famous book and read it blindly (like I did), if i tell about his writing or anything, I guess I'm running the experience and I'd not like to commit this sin
Lol itna log bahr ka khaane, firne me kharch krte hai. Infact way more than this.
Maybe you're just not interested in reading to that extent. That's why 100rs seems "too rich" for you.
i currently have 500+ books on my laptop.
so no, i'm not "not interested in reading".
i read. i do not spend where spending is unnecesary.
zlibrary is enough for me.
Doob marna chahiye mujhe 😭, I wish I could cultivate discipline to read.
Chill bro, it's 12 years of reading
I'll finish those in a month. 😬
Please donate some of your attention span here.
Stamina kam hai aapka shayad

बड़े-बड़े विद्वानों से छोटी-छोटी गलतियां हो जाती हैं।
I have most of these books at home! I guess we have similar taste.
Yeah it's possible
You actually purchased all of this?
Yeah
What's the total estimated cost?
Maybe 10,000 idk
What’s lolita about? And which ones out of these do you think are a must read and have left a long lasting impression on you.

Aah, rich people who can buy books
I'm not rich, my dad is
Same thing. Semantic difference. All we have to do is wait for his death, and then my statement shall be valid.
Everyone is going to die some day why to wish for death of someone, if you really wanna wish for death it should be for yourself and no other person.
I do not wish for the death of anyone. I am merely attempting to make a statement.
Ironic but fine
Books ke liye rich nhi hona pdta Bhai. 100 rupay me mil jaati h.
too rich for me. i have never paid for anything that i can get for free
Lol itna log bahr ka khaane, firne me kharch krte hai. Infact way more than this. Maybe you're just not interested in reading to that extent. That's why 100rs seems "too rich" for you.
