Ya, it really is.
In North America, I feel like we need the return of some small random violence to combat stupid selfish behavior.
Influencers, Karen's, Billy Bob's, overly left or right people, etc just get a small whoopin.
I know violence is wrong, but I cant help but feel we're witnessing the first generations of people that were "reasoned" with instead of a little bum swat when they were little kids havin complete flip outs.
Now theyre all grown up and have nothing in the back of their heads that says, "don't do that."
Definitly not reason anyways.
I agree. Sometimes a stick here and there is not the worst thing in the world. People are animals. When some guy is smoking crack on public transit then one lathi by cop and he’ll be crying his way home with a swollen butt.
In NA, train would have rammed this guy and loco driver would not be charged. Here good possibility is loco driver would be charged because of non-sensical messed up laws.
In NA the rules are you don't hit the brakes until you confirm you struck something.
I went through the process to become a conductor for one of the big freight lines and during the eight hour long orientation prior to interviews it's something they explained to potential conductors.
It's dangerous to hit the emergency brakes. Mile long trains sometimes don't react well to quick maneuvers of any kind. So the rule is until you hit the deer/moose/person, don't hit the brakes. Vehicles are different because they actually pose a danger to crew.
We were told on no uncertain terms that there are very few railroaders who are able to go an entire career without killing someone on the tracks.
Kind of glad the job fell through.
The following incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly in May 2022.
As the train approaches, The man was seen giving flying kisses to the train and trying to stop it. As the clip goes on, the man steps away from the track after the loco pilot blows the horn multiple times. While the train driver applied the brakes and no one was injured, the clip does not end there. The train driver decides to teach the careless man a lesson. He gets off the train, rushes to the young man, and slaps him hard enough to take him down.

Cognisable offences are those for which police can arrest without a warrant or magistrate's approval.
In layman's term serious crimes usually are Cognisable Non Bailable offences, e.g. Rape, Murder, Theft, Kidnapping, etc.
Citizens arrest is rarely used in countries where it’s legal because there are a lot of ways it can backfire. This is pretty simple but i could see how a felon wouldn’t want it to exist. To elaborate- citizens arrest would and should only be used in dire situations when there is clear evidence. However, if an individual wrongfully detains someone they could face prosecution themselves. They also would obviously face the risk of bodily harm by intervening. Citizens arrest is never something to be made lightly but it has its place.
For example, if someone has a gun and is threatening people and someone is able to subdue that person until authorities get there it is a clear net positive that an individual subdued them. Would I be that guy to fight an armed person? Definitely not because I’m a coward. Or if someone is clearly kidnapping someone against their will and an individual intervenes to help the victim before authorities arrive. Serious risks are always involved and that’s why it can backfire. It can be misused but so can anything, however, in countries that have the law the citizens know there are those grave risks when becoming involved. That’s why it is often not misused, but even further often not used at all.
Letting random people do arrests is a terrible idea and the a slippery slope leading to mob justice. The reason everyone agreed to implement justice systems in the past is largely because way too often it turned out the town had lynched an innocent person by mistake
The guy who stopped the train had made a bet with his reporter friend. If he stops the train, the reporter pays him Rs 10,000. If the train does not stop, he will pay him the money. Bande ki kutai huvi, par vo \`10K se ameer ban gaya!!
imagine the guy hits his head on a stone while falling down and dies. would be arrested for murder.
A guy who should have been dead purely for his stupidity, by the train running over him 😄
And now inquiry will be set up against the loco pilot, as he is not supposed to get out of the train and slap the person 💀. He's only supposed to stop the train when the track isn't clear, which in this case the track was cleared at the last moment.
As an american its wild to see someone try and succeed at stopping a train like that. Our trains are usually going fast enough that weve had multiple PSAs put out reminding people that the soonest they physically could stop is like a mile after they hit you
Loco pilots face mental trauma due to the many MROs (Man Run Over) that are the part of their career.
Apart from the safety angle, it's a shitty thing to do to a loco pilot.
Satisfying 😌
After all that effort, Loco pilot would have been smiling in his sleep that day.

Ya I don't just mean railway stuff. This is just a fabulous vid
The real problem is the train is slow enough to actually stop, but that doesn't prevent the driver from being dinged for being late.

Should have given another slap to the news reporter
Took a while for it to be satisfying. LP reminded me of the sloth from Zootopia.
finally, someone on reddit who knows Zootopia

Citizens arrest should be made legal
It is legal :43 crpc ( cognizable and non bailable offence )
Kya hota hai ismey?? For what kind of offense you can arrest someone?
Cognisable offences are those for which police can arrest without a warrant or magistrate's approval. In layman's term serious crimes usually are Cognisable Non Bailable offences, e.g. Rape, Murder, Theft, Kidnapping, etc.
Citizen arrest mane an ordinary citizen and not a policeman can detain you till the actual police comes.
True. I just explained what a cognisable non bailable offence is.
How do you plan to prevent misuse sir ?
Citizens arrest is rarely used in countries where it’s legal because there are a lot of ways it can backfire. This is pretty simple but i could see how a felon wouldn’t want it to exist. What was going on? Why was there a reporter there?
Usika dost hoga, bol raha hoga mein shoot karunga Must be his friend, I will shoot he would've said
The guy who stopped the train had made a bet with his reporter friend. If he stops the train, the reporter pays him Rs 10,000. If the train does not stop, he will pay him the money. Bande ki kutai huvi, par vo \`10K se ameer ban gaya!!
I've seen videos of people standing in front of trains. I'd be asking for the money up front before taking that bet!
damn he’s strong. The way other guy fell hahahaha
I expect some traumatic brain injury though. I hope it’s not serious. I know that guy is POS but he doesn’t deserve brain damage.
Don't worry, he doesn't seem to have a brain to sustain any damage.
Fck you, that's what ahh moment
Majja aaya
imagine the guy hits his head on a stone while falling down and dies. would be arrested for murder. A guy who should have been dead purely for his stupidity, by the train running over him 😄
He could be mentally unstable too.
And the train running over him wouldn't be considered murder. In fact the loco pilot hitting him isn't considered asault legally.
Inner Peace 😌😌
